Many people do really make good friends
but they've different traits that attract the other
so one responds to one and indeed vice versa
then it works in unison so to go on further
When one is wise people stand in awe
pointing to that one seems to know it all
but real true wisdom creates in the heart
a sense of gratitude to stand and stall
What a beautiful twosome they do make
wisdom marked with gratitude simply divine
the wise reveal within the inner heart
seeking to find a gratefulness to shine
So the wonder of connecting these two
like an electric light when you switch
to the on position the dark is gone
light comes to rescue you from the ditch
Try and live full of these two
for it's wise to be truly grateful
as well as being grateful is wise
this being instilled shows one graceful
(Some thoughts on connecting two friends of gratitude and wisdom.)
If you brush away all the fallen leaves,
from the branches of my family tree.
You're likely to find a few old bones that,
we've tried to keep hidden from history.
As with all families you're gonna find,
things that no one ever dared to bring out.
Gays, lesbians, bi and transgender were,
the kind of things that no one talked about.
Back in those days they whispered horrid words,
all about subjects that were quite taboo.
Now accepted as just a way of life,
that many people now openly choose.
I say that all the 'eccentricities',
that filled up our ancestral lineage.
Have helped color in all of the blank spots,
though some paint may have spread over the edge.
It is so hard to stay inside the lines,
when it’s colored in by so many hands.
Our quirks and words and peculiar traits,
are perhaps what helps us to understand.
That it's from those colors that gently bled,
and all those secrets that were never told.
That created who we became today,
and we don't have to all fit the same mold.
You have never seen me, yet I often view your beauty
Elegance and grace, fractions of traits that belong to thee
The loveliness of thy face, often sends me through a daze
Drives me into a craze, this isn’t a phase
My love, for you, I’ll save
Into your eyes I’ll gaze
To caress your smooth cheeks, my hands I’ll raise
If only your name could grace my every phrase
And your life could bless my days
At that moment the Lord, I’d praise
Oh, the joy to be blessed by your presence
The quality of your essence
I’m unable to describe
But for some reason, my face seems to constantly hide
For this, still thou knows not this fellow
Who seems rather mellow
Yet and still, he watches from a far, this stranger in disguise
And beholds a great beauty with eyes that mesmerize
Broken and dismantled,
A child left in shambles,
A mother left for drugs and gave up on her young,
Left alone with children who aren't my kin,
More and more depressed till i wish i was dead,
Life goes so slow,
Never thought it would happen this way,
Saw a brother die right in front of me,
I forgive people who hurt me,
As if i deserved the pain,
Locked in a closet,
Seeing my life play out with no control,
Thought i was safe,
People saying i had my fathers traits,
Said i would end up on the streets at 23 just like him,
Said they are here for me,
But im always alone,
Running from a monster they made,
Surrounded by zombies,
Who were crack fiends,
Surrounded by drunks,
Who would kill just for a drop of cheap whiskey,
They was always making snowmen,
With no snow,
Mama and her fiance were cocaine addicts making lines saying it was candy,
Always in the sky and never on earth,
I was addicted to the highs but was always low,
My mind in haze,
I had no control,
My body started to decay,
Tried to make a change but it never worked,
Got to the point that i got used to the death didnt cry for anyone not even my mom when she left once again,
Till i had nothing to say to the ones who were supposed to be family,
I was with people who never went to school,
In the gutter with the rats and homeless,
Went to foster care for 5 years in the system,
House to house it started to be,
New house but not home,
New family but not my own,
New body but not in control,
New room but still sleeping on the couch,
Have food but still going hungry,
Seen my friends leave and go to heaven wish i died with them,
Maybe one day ill be better,
Maybe one day ill see my brother again,
Maybe one day it wont affect me,
Sold all i had for petty cash,
Had stuff some people would never touch,
Yet i was still treated like a piece of trash,
Stayed up late nights waiting for a brother to never come,
Sent to a mental hospital to fix me,
Didnt work so they discarded me,
They said god had a plan for me,
But the devil was the only one who ever showed up,
Had to make a deal before my life was fully done,
Got out of foster care,
But i still felt alone and bare.
She slow- slips feet in poems
Tears trickle from sky- high eyes
down earth's cheeks to find the stream
I love your long water veils
abseiling splashed self down,
streaming gently life's sheer sails
Father shows me a true source-
Tugela springs from plateau
spread out with windblown scrub.
Symbiosis exists here.
Vague thoughts of Virginia
wading, stone-weighted pockets
dragged her down deep to depths...
A mind burst by selfdoubt's clouds
touch my unresistant heart.
There's only one way to go,
trained by firmament's full flow-
downpour your loyal consort
sending mind subservient-
twisting those transcendant traits
through trails of least resistance
Aah, River! You flow fullsome
as you rush, rapids gushing
roughshod through brim-filled banks.
Thunder hails soaking cloudbursts-
Storms suit well- recessed levels-
Overflow forms new outlets
shaped by pushing poweshift.

~~Let Him Without Sin Cast The First Stone~~
Back in the days when Jesus was said to have walked
There are lessons in life about which are still now talked
In kings it says “If they sin against thee (for there is none that sinneth not)”
It may help us to recall these words that we may have forgot.
In Psalms it points out that in sin our mother did conceive us
The genes and traits of mothers really do never leave us.
In Romans it points that the wages of sin is death and strife
But the gift through Christ and forgiveness is the gift of eternal life.
But John is the one to bring to mind I think
When the scribes and Pharisees set out to cause a stink.
An adulteress female they bought to the Christ in the morn
Caught in the act of adultery, they had all sworn.
To trick Christ by his answer but he was too clever:
(Not the man they did not take it seems men are to blame never)
He wrote in the soil then turned to them and said
"He that is without sin let him cast the first stone at her (to render her dead)."
None of the accusers could their conscience find clear
They left the woman with Jesus and this is what she did hear
"Where are your accusers now is there none to condemn you?"
He knew he had pricked their conscience-and his words were true.
“No lord they have gone even though they did call me a whore”
“Then I do not condemn thee, go forth and sin no more.”
We all suffer the sin of imperfection, of that there is no doubt
But it is up to each of us to ask for forgiveness, not for others to flout.
But as it says in Mathew let us not judge lest we be judged
We may not be as perfect as we let on, our own image smudged.
We all fall short of perfection in this human life
Let’s look to the rafter in our own eye and try not to cause strife.
A lot of poetic license is used here but the essence is here and the scriptures used are:
Kings 8:46
Psalms 51:5
Romans 6:23
John 8:3
Math 7
What image does the word magic conjure up,
a prestidigitator or mystic spell?
Some say sorcery always needs a backup;
for wizards are tricksters with something to sell,
pretending to master the secrets of Hell.
Though illusionists' tricks deceive the eye,
hidden mirrors can't make real disappear.
They claim to levitate and seemingly fly;
honing their art for another grand premiere,
hawking their autographs as a souvenir.
Enchanters can enchant susceptible souls,
into believing their magic is real.
By exploiting reality's hidden holes,
they can manipulate how you think and feel;
turning ordinary into surreal.
Seemingly achieving the impossible;
magic and miracles share similar traits.
Both stretch the boundaries of what's possible,
contrary to what reality mandates;
and both have sparked philosophical debates./center>
My courtesy name passed down through generations, I bear the marker of an outstanding exultation.
Though sometimes I wonder if they were tall as I am.
Board as a leader, Fierce and humble in person.
Sometimes me thinks, the curiosity gives an innocuous valour.
This is so, I perceive
Praising and imaging them heroes in their own accord.
Does my name run down through four generations
Or three, perhaps two?
How many passed through this torch that holds the strength of ten men.
Should I pass it on to others.
Should they also get the bear's maker of heroism.
For I am a man who's on social persona, embodies heroic and virtuous traits that demonstrate the highest degree of excellence.
Though Generations pass away, Traditions ripen and decay, this name still doth stands to old age.
A place of goodbyes is the earth
Each generation we let go
Heaven_ place of hellos and mirth
Whitey went_ will there be rebirth
Or with animals only end though
A place of goodbyes is the earth
Sadness overwhelmed she had worth
Was good ratter now receiving gateau
Heaven_ place of hellos and mirth
While here on this earth, let me unearth
And expand on my good traits, let grow
A place of goodbyes is the earth
I'll leave_ take spiritual rebirth
Put on my countenance's warm glow
Heaven_ place of hellos and mirth
All will leave in flight that is dearth
Now new body on me bestow
A place of goodbyes is the earth
Heaven place of hellos and mirth

why then are presidential candidates not tested
for their humanity and mental abilities as well as their logic
