Civilisation

Some people give joy wherever they go
Finding so many adventures along the way,
Some cause hope in whatever task they do,
To keep civilization progressing each day.

This present world needs people like yourself.
Its pleasures and treasures are literally dying,
Only the strong survive by their inner strength,
Embrace the responsibility that God has given.

Go out among people and run with a clear vision
Earn your keeps, become more than a number,
Give something back to a depleting civilization,
A revere token of nobility for history to remember.

For much of your life, you will have to stand alone
Your heroics misunderstood and misinterpreted,
It’s not going to be easy to fight on your own,
Stand strong, don’t retreat or you will be defeated.

On this path, celebrate every breath of your victory
Don’t let an opportunity slip by without a challenge,
Our brief life here on earth at best is temporally
A test that we must pass before the coming age.

Don’t accept mediocrity, to make you a better person,
You are far smarter than what society has accepted.
Traits is an investment of your personality and passion,
Grab each moment and wrapped them up tight.

Some will try and die regretting the grace they scorn
Most will fade away and leave destiny to make their will.
But appreciate your mortality and seize the dream,
Of a brighter future looming on the road that leads uphill.
