What I See

At first, I see only darkness that waits, perhaps it's the mood I'm in or my present emotional state, I see shadowy scripts of my more primeval traits. I see, the evolving universe unexplored drawn picturesque images to my mind, opened and bored as if infinite visibility danced in the distant skies I see faint glimmers of light captured in my eyes. I see a million or more indescribable forms breaching the darkness and light in which we all are born and in the unrelenting intensity of colors of light I see the cosmos beckoning me to its shows of night. I see the blanket warmed by day's sun covering the universe kept safe and held in place by the revolutionary orbits traversed and the generations now passed, life is still cast and I see the creator alive and well and unsurpassed. for James Edward Lee, Sr. What I see 2/13/19
