Majestic Eagle
The majestic eagle preens itself as a brilliant new day is born.
It flexes its powerful wings to prepare for its daily bourne.
From its lofty aerie it views vistas mere man will never see,
Anon, to ride the vagabond winds, its earthly bonds at will to flee!
'Tis apt that the eagle is the symbol of these United States.
There are so many venerable traits that in each equates.
Cleared-eyed vision, firm resolve and regal nobility,
Meeting all challenges and dangers with resolute versatility!
