LITTLE GIRL LOST
I
As my fingers trace your silhouette
Your lips will feel my kiss
The shoulders that have held me up
I will never have to miss
The strength of you in support
The little girl has grown
Opened up to live and life
Through love, she had never known
As your love grows in me
The taste of you and the feel
Each layer you now remove
Just gives our love a new reveal
From little girl spoiled and lost
To wife and mother too
You know you have my heart my love
It forever belongs to you.
II
Working through the small hours
Bringing home the bread
Two small sons to feed
A place to rest your head
All those years a grafting
Boys then turn to men
Believing that was it
This was starting again
Words jumbled in your head
Pages of poems you wrote
Making sense of your life
Working and living by rote
A working life then ended
Grandfather, a new role
Doting on the new births
Even so, life took its toll
III
A little girl was waiting
Waiting for many years
Not knowing that she was waiting
For you to catch her tears
Continents apart
Worlds so far removed
A child innocent and empty
And alone, that was proved.
Comfort takes its time
Your shoulders you gave to me
Your love did the healing
And that is in the book you see
A love so strong so vibrant
A love that keeps us apart
No continents do divide us
Just the hurting of others hearts.

Feel You Fall
With music all around us
and lights dimmed up above.
My favorite part of dancing
is to feel you fall in love.
I can almost feel your heartbeat
I can't find the words to say.
Smelling your scent on your body
as we slowly start to sway.
I see no one around us
I have eyes for only you.
I'm thinking about forever
and all the things I long to do.
I want to be your knight in armor
when push comes down to shove.
But right now I'm so happy
to feel you fall in love.
I want to see you happy
I want to see your dreams come true.
I want to see you with me
I want me holding you.
I want to be there for you
I want to be there through it all.
If you can feel it starting
I will catch you when you fall.

July in America in 2025, so exciting, to be in July, starting our month off with a bang.
Lots of bangs from fireworks, people have already started to celebrate.
Celebrate our country independence, our holiday that we cherish.
The red white and blue, we celebrate, and remember this month in history.
To our amazing patriots, that fought for our rights, we thank them today with remembrance.
To George Washington we give our thanks, for having such a force that led us to this point.
To our amazing country that we love so much, let’s give it a cheer for the memories we hold near and dear.
Never will we forget, our great leaders, that fought till the death.
We will hold our flag, high and proud, with love and thankfulness for all to see it shine.
Yes, we are glad, to have such an amazing country, that we celebrate this day of independence.
July we are so high, with all of the memories you carry in time.
Making more memories as we go into the future, with the Red, White, and Blue, flying high for all to see, we love you eternally.
Thanking God, for today and forever by our side.
when it states in the Bible that God helps those who help themselves
He's not talking about doing just anything to amass personal wealth
He's basically telling you to get up off your behind
and do something productive that's positive in mind
be it a job, starting a business or just collecting cans
it's about doing something commendable with one's own hands
for there is nothing better than doing something that's constructive
for it makes you feel good about yourself whenever you're being productive
so do something for yourself, for the planet and for your fellow man
for that is what God had in mind when He devised His master plan
so get up, go out and do something to earn a living but do it with joy
because if you're not working for the greater good you'll become the devil's toy
She's become lost in small
The oh so important insignificant
Living in her world of do, do
Doing so much
Accomplishing so little
Head down
Sun shining on top of her head
Complaining about the heat
Can't look up
Too concerned about her feet
Skin once dark
Now white like a sheet
Better moments
Floating past her head
Instead of seeing happy
She sees red instead
You might find her joyful
Unless you listen to what is said
She seems alive but inside she's dead
For her
others can't seem to get it right
Their failures, keep her up at night
Her disapproval rides high
She flys it like a kite
Subtley expressed
With a smile so bright
yet in her eyes there is no light
Hands by her side
In fists clenched tight
I'm left wondering
Is this really working for her
Rigid thoughts so solid
Now starting to blur
All those moments wasted
Completly lost for sure
If only she would listen
I would gladly talk to her
Instead
she grasps onto her small
So things they remain
just as they were
No other way of thinking
occurs to her
Still, I desire to see fully
Beneath the critical
To glimpse her beautiful
That enlargened wonderful
No more clinging to miserable
Within a single thought
Her life could start
True freedom within life's art
Right now and here
Best moment
better year
A less expectant
Gentler ear
Then she will find
Other small things that matter
Becoming less lost
Searching out softer ways
Exchanging a sharp tongue
For one of praise
Living to appreciate
No more wasted days
Less doing
More relaxing
Far more
Thankful
Blessed
okays!
Form:
Tick tock the grandfather clock
Briefly stops before it pops
Twelve times then it will be midnight
The start of my birthday
That has fallen on hump day this year
As I let out a little cheer
That midnight is finally here
Now I'm going to drink a few beers
To celebrate this last year
Before I rest my head
And just run off to bed
Because my girl is spending the day
Flying away on my birthday
That has fallen on hump day this year
Smile on my face for I plan to play
On this hump day
At the time of the year
When old saint nick is here
And everybody is broke until next year
So I will celebrate my birthday
Just sitting here and drinking more beer
Because I have no fear
I'm going to kick this hump day into high gear
Hour after hour I gained more beer power
Surfing, wanting things to flower
Just hoping I will grow some willpower
Before I devour more beer on my birthday
That has fallen on hump day this year
Having a grand old time trying not to smear
All this beer that has got me jolly this year
Happy as can be one thing is clear
I'm starting to get low on cold beer
So out of fear, I chug another beer
To celebrate my birthday that has fallen
On hump day this year
Before I know it I'm up dancing singing a good cheer
Drinking another beer
Suddenly I found myself spinning around
Next thing I realize I'm laying face down
Laughing hysterically trying not to pee
As I pick myself up off the ground
To get a good look around
When I hear a familiar sound
Getting closer to me
That's when I see
Her sweet arms wrap around me
When she said off to bed Mr ed
I know a birthday boy who needs to be fed
As you can figure out how this birthday toy
Got read all on my birthday
That has fallen on hump day this year
When I drank this hump day away at play
And made the most of my birthday
Dreaming of foreplay
On my birthday this year

A crazy old man once told me,
“Heaven is made of the things you give away.”
It appeared he was next in line for heaven
as he had next to nothing left to give.
We shared a cup of coffee, conversation,
well not so much conversation
as a gentle walk through a magical forest.
His voice had not grown old or weary
of his quest to share his experience.
He stooped to pick up a napkin
discarded in haste, tucked it
in his pocket as we walked.
He shared his muffin,
spoke with a woman
pushing a shopping cart
through the Common.
She walked away smiling.
The muffin crumbs he left for the birds.
He nodded to the homeless,
waved to strangers, petted stray dogs,
offering all the brightness of his being,
warmth of his eyes,
quizzical wrinkle of his grin.
His rambling soliloquy
poked sticks at the universe,
offered hope to the ducklings…
yeah … the ducklings followed him
as if they knew that he knew.
As we approached the starting point
of both walk and oration he spoke
of the completed circle – not the
circumference - but the center,
said that the achievement was not
in amassing things to give away
but to offer freely those things
that you always have. Time, he said,
is huge, as is a smile, a word,
a shared muffin, a moment
in the passing of an eon.
He left me sitting on a park bench
sharing muffin crumbs
and smiling.

I met the most amazing woman today
So pretty, such a looker all the way
Everything about her had me reacting
In the most sensual ways
So interesting to talk with
I hope she wants to stay
Her personality just carries my spirit out to play
The longer she stays the more I sway
Wanting her in my life more than in just a sexual way
She peeks my interest with all that she has to convey
Such a sexy lady all dressed in casual denim blue
With the ability to shake my world up
Making it feel shiny and new
So cute with her blond hair and bluish green eyes
With a body that makes my adrenalin fly
Her dad tells me that she is not about the lies
Street smart but still vulnerable enough to cry
Not the kind of woman who talks out of order or asks why
To find a lady who doesn't feel like she has to try
Or one that fits in that isn't terribly shy
Who understands what life requires to get by
As hard as I don't try
I find myself staring deep into her eyes
Wow this woman makes my heart just want to fly
I feel her inner weakness starting to comply
Our worlds inner locked like rockets launched on high
From the moment we said hi
I felt something special about her I could not just let lye
Trying not to overplay my day
Enjoying her natural foreplay dancing in such a display
Drifting away wanting to replay the whole day
She captured my heart from the very start
So beautiful funny and smart
If she was my sweetheart
No one would ever be able to pry our worlds apart
Like a shooting dart with a love potion
She calms my ocean
Putting my lonely soul into full motion
Throwing my towel in so we can begin
To know how it feels when we win
Letting her know just how I feel
Everything about her was the right feel
Not trying to reinvent the wheel
Doing it openly of her own free will
Love her smoking hot body
That just makes me want to squeal
I believe a ride with her to the top of the hill
Would make any man's spirit want to seal a love deal
I can feel her love in my heart
That came to life right from the very start
I can see us never being far apart
Now that I have found the woman who lives in my heart
Angry clouds were above
Displaying hatred not love
With an angry growl
Came a heavenly howl
There are energy impulses
Crackling lights dished out in doses
Joined the powerful teaming downpour
Angels sending a message about this star gazing tour
Two men scheduled to be shot in the air
No return date set for the galactic dare
It took a little time
But the sun came out to shine
A natural cosmic luring test
Challenging earthlings wanted to leave their nest
Launch countdown never stopped
Plan continued from the pad lot
After placing the pair in seated positions
Patiently waiting for the ‘go’ decision
Commanding lift starting the space station mission
Clock under twenty
Big business experimenting investing their money
Word came to abort
Due to the weather who was the true judicial court
Safety concerns were the reasons
Canceling the spectacle during Florida’s rainy season
Temporary relieving the responsibilities for the dragon crew
Delaying a dream ready to come true
Mother Nature commanding man to be told
“This adventurous travel must be put on hold!
Until a new window open soon
And then it can resume
A space junket to the resort orbiting the moon”
Man penciled in a date
Saturday afternoon sounds great
Still the meteorology influence will have the final say
About sending this peaceful rocket on its way
