Here I am walking barefooted
beside the silvery sea~
The setting sun left a pastel pink hue
on silent summer sky,
filling my empty heart with warm aglow
as twilight birds begin to sing
our old favourite song.

I was here some years ago~
But not alone…
The laughters still echo
in the rushing white waves,
in the warm wind whispering
softly caressing my hair;
His deep eyes still painted in the clouds
that descend gently to kiss me;
The traces of our footprints adorning the satin sand
still vivid in my eyes like yesterday.

I sigh as the tepid water touches my frigid feet
Yes, I can only sigh~
For when will my love return
I’ll keep on waiting
Till the sun fades away,
Till the moon forgets  the evening sky;
For this moment of waiting~ I know
will never, never be in vain.

It’s a deviant world
a lone wolf finds a place to fit in;
it’s pure poetry, war

heroes dance ducksteps with the romance of it all
some rise, they return home to other meaningless battles
some fall, looking for greener grass and their God

some do not return at all
they find it better to escape
they drift off dissolving into other better or terrible worlds

it’s hard poetry, the romance of war
when you hit the revelation wall;
prayers unspoken sleep,

demons
with their promise of salvation
return

they are put to bed
roughly, like a whore
adorned in slippery satin ribbons of red

masks now removed
snow like medication breathed in
dreams like opium warm the cold veins

pierce everything
like a bayonet
shut out the din

flood an enlarged heart
with all its kintsugi cracks seeping honey and sin
smiling grimly the good humour well-hidden

heroes dream of taking the lead
the quiet broken, dimly lit pawns
avoid the gun-fire and blistering burn of noisy shadows

ptsd survivors
like voiceless poets,
sometimes rise instead

ruling deeply over outranked warriors

Made of all their eyes
I wish you could see me

You're my man of war

SPRING

Like holding the hands of children, two cords
of blithe, did rear lovers ~ oh how they’ve soared!
Amorous and forward, Lil’s his reward
draped in angel wings.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

A precious love stokes warmth from a smolder.
Serenity leans on Ann’s bare shoulder.
The rare beauty, her beast is much colder
then plinking harp strings.

ROSEBUDS

Nearly touching heads, brunette and henna
bent t’wards garden zen ~ waltz of vienna.
Garb’d in rosebud pink and teal, McKenna
and sister ~ brass rings.*

SHEIKH

A harem of blue butterflies, she’s chic.
Tiers of soft pink satin and her mystique.
Moment of weakness, Dawn’s drawn to the sheikh,
then flutter of wings.**

IDYLLIC

Sam lays on her lemondrop lap. Petals
still - her finger vase. Soon Rose would settle
for an idyllic marriage — their kettle
whistling of hot springs.

To a Place

~
Her love took me to a place,
the likes of which I have never seen
I was lost in the wonder that greeted me
along a pathway of stained glass tiger lilies
and hummingbirds singing in harmony

Where the beauty of the sunrise
was painted in watercolor brushstrokes
upon cerulean skies drifting beyond a
lazy horizon beckoning my eyes
in frilly fonts and promised smiles

I found castles carved of sweet dark chocolate
sitting atop lavender laced hillsides
overlooking evergreen forests
of butterflies and ladybugs
frolicking amidst feathery branches

When there before me floated
a heart shaped dream, crimson red
in satin wishes where we both would live
beside a flowing stream reflecting
every affection and desire we held

Yes, her love took me to this place,
lifting me from a darkness where moons hid
and stars cried beyond ashen clouds,
where happiness was a way of life
and forever a welcomed ending

BURLAP and SATIN

Texture fine, woven design
Like harden tree sap
Rough is the burlap!!!
That's at my finger tips
Smooth is soft the satin as silk
The dress rapped around her waist

Burlap and satin

Give me such touch my reactions
Hard rough the silken liner
Smooth is the burlap binder???
Coarse touch soft brush
Weave me, cling to me of skin
Jute plant fibers touch

Burlap and satin

Just rough on the skin
May combine me with vegetable fibres
Wall hangings made of burlap rough to my eyes
Fibers to make rope, nets
Coarse canvas woven from jute, hemp

Burlap and satin

Browned fiber burlap, used especially for sacking
Sackcloth, gunny, canvas, hessian
Dress making and furnishing burlaps a burlap shirt
Fabric burlap Flowers nation
Can be a rose or carnation
Or woven even turned into a shirt Even seen them as a skirt
For what it's worth, smooth and rough

Burlap and satin

Matters not touch me in the morning
Also together burlap and satin so adorning
Fabric flower bouquet
A smooth, glossy fabric
Satin of silk, produced by a weave
In which this the threads

Burlap and satin

The warp caught and looped by weft cross stitch
At certain intervals a blue satin dress smooth like satin
Oh, also fabric flowers to the bouquet
Satin is a weaved that has glossy surface and dull back action
The satin weave is four or more no harm
Fill weft yarns floats over warp yarn
Four warp yarns floating over a single weft
a luxurious satin look For what it's worth smooth and rough

Satin Pillows

In my deepest sleep
I toss, I turn
Warriors
In this awkward time scale
I rest, I burn
A tiresome suicide
On my face
Against my pillow I lay
Breathe I cannot
Feel, no, I cannot
Seems I’m in a fixed spot
My graven lay
If you could see
The misery upon my face
It’s getting hot
And I cannot breathe
My attempted suicide
My souls exempt
Yet threatening to leave
Some one, anyone
Please turn me over
For I cannot breathe
It’s over, goodbye
No wait, I can feel my flesh
For I have been given life once more
Now awaken my eyes
Rise from this pillow of death
And have once more
A reviving breath

Premium Member Charming Patterns

Down the stairs turned to chiseled rocky rungs
the fluid elegance cascades like an ebullient rapid
primal grace of Eve glistens on the satin skin
tinged with the hues of primeval beauty bounty
sculpted in curvy contours of Michelangelo finesse
and charming patterns.

Amorous lustrous stream flowing in cleaved vale
carved between the ambrosial mounds
opens up on the vista of the ivory meadow
supple rhythm of scented jasmine allures
wafting on the canopy of the yonder thicket
and waiting to be adored.

The porcelain ballerina feet as flittering as
the swan en echelon making rhapsodic design
half-way on the staircase stuck motionless
a statue draped in symphony of au naturel motif
the moonbeam lattice covers her with silver screen
and with enigma ethereal.

Bespoke

"Bespoke"

unknown variables quiver the quill
biting words playfully taking waiting lips
qualitative honeyed eucylyptus elixir

speaks to you
bespoke
in passionate whispers

dripping the burning grenades
intimate soliquays
like a warm feathered breeze

down all your lines
fuse lit and delicious
scorching taste it wait it

on tongue speaking firm
weighted words loaded
on erogenous Eros

erroneous Ares
I gift you a gift
from the war zone

a dangerous body of work
quantitative soft kisses
following satin fingertips

Peel open
the pomegranate jewel
kept tight in all its cool chapters

the succulent pink velvet
territory tasted
unconquered

bespoke and
unbroken
packed and loaded

voluptuous bullets

"Don't need permission
Made my decision
to test my limits
'Cause it's my business,
God as my witness
Start what I finished
Don't need no hold up
Taking control
of this kind of moment
I'm locked and loaded
Completely focused,
my mind is open..."

Premium Member What I'D Like To Give You Is An Ounce of My Perfume

fragrance of yesteryears distilled from heartache and joy

mixture of entropy and cohesion scented in hopeful aroma

	sweat from wanderlust of adventure

	tears from emotional advancement

blood of hard work’s injuries over time

fears contained and turned into vigour

petals ground into an effusion of love

a medley of rose-tinted lenses and reality’s patched spectacles

a truth serum of honesty kindness and unshakeable compassion

the knowledge that one’s perfume blends with compatible skin

smell of freedom to mind our souls

salve to soothe blisters and calluses

tincture of longing and tangible peace

composure of hard-won harmony at last

array of butterflies collecting honey dew

just like myself you had to endure the stench of past injustice

tribulations trials errors betrayal and displeasure of suffering

have been hurt by flavoured malodour of other’s transgressions

had the dubious benefit of having to turn up your nose to escape

stink fetour and mere existence in order to synthesize essence

balance of reason and heartfelt emotions

waiting for yin yang seeking a perfect fit

a mate best friend mirror spouse and lover

in sack cloth silk linen and satin sheets in a

bodouir graced by passion and pheromones

kisses of sweet pleasure rapture and satisfaction climax together

wet lips follow the path of mountains rivers splash and nurture

fan the flames in which fireside ashes mix with ember and warmth

in candour I have no magic potion until our perfumes merge into one

Premium Member Tale of Diamond Lil

Bill and Gil met a new gal, Diamond Lil
In a sassy saloon named Petey’s Swill
She was dressed with a dolly lady’s skill
Ruffled as a male peacock with a trill

Diamond Lil educated naïve Bill and innocent Gill
Of this debauchery world they had each known zill
Her step-by-step lessons were a gigantic thrill
She taught them with the precision of a sergeant’s drill

Many of her life lessons were taught on Farmer’s Hill
Like how to make corn whiskey in a bootlegger’s still
She also taught them some interesting things at the old saw mill
They knew now how to determine if a fabric was satin or twill

Bill and Gill never got over their education with Diamond Lil
One of their most deranged jealous neighbors was Jenny Jill
Jenny tried to kill Diamond Lil with a giant unknown pill
Thus, Lil ran off with a dastardly gentleman named Mr. Bill.
Taking with her two other men she had met at Petey’s Swill
