Premium Member Faved Poems In My Favorites a Treasure Trove of Joy

Faved PoetrySoup poems, I've many a favorite
Are such a treasure trove of Joy
                                    Each one so exquisite

I've many, but imagine, I'll have many, many more
I wish they could be bound in books
                            Purchased through a PS store!

Leaves of golden artistry of poets that I love
A little bit of heaven on earth
                                 Like sunshine from above

I thought to name these poets, that have written
On my heart, but that would take
                                Me quite some time,
I don't know where to start!

Suffice to say, I'm blessed, I love this precious group
                         What treasure troves of blessings
                             These poems on PoetrySoup

Keep shining, keep on writing, your voices like a song
                           The aroma of sweet fragrance
                              Gently stirring all day long

For each new poem that's written, a gem within the sea
A gift of golden treasure is your
                                        Precious poetry

My image shared is just a 'dream' book of sorts, an
idea of how it may be easy for PS to create a personalized
book of our favorite file poems from our dear PS poets.
My mother had an old empty scrapbook I inherited,
I applied the gold lettering just for an example.
Maybe Team Poetry could brainstorm an idea of this
sort, I think it would be wonderful. Anyway, just a thought.

A Mourning Bride

Once up on a time,
   The monsoon season covered,
Shivering sounds of birds from distance wood.

I listened the cricket's music where in dark silent.
I made some clay figures and sold in a street.

Every children happy to saw and few never noticed.
I gave it gift to the poor children.
Their broad eyes filled with joy.
I walked lonely, small flowers smiled to stoop.

That rainy night, i carved the image of groom and bride.
And i stitched the nature flowers with beads.
   It turned to wonderful garlands.
The nupital began, i enjoyed to saw the trational ceremony.

At a moment, my glass- heart fragiled
  Heavy rain splashed in outside.

When harsh wind blowing, rain ruined my images.
I snuggled, the dark shade of life.
My tears rolled in, just mingle with clay.

One Autumn Day At Hida Village

Asking tribe’s future to the totem pole that grew higher
with the stock of fogs, drizzles, snows, suns, moons and stars,
that Haida laid one at a time from the day of their first step
on the sands, they followed the school of fish riding on the wavelets,
chased the fish plowing the surge of waves, hunted the big fish
buffeted by the billows because their home is the sea and the winds.

When heap of Haida’s days,
the days made through with the waves,
the days that lived through with the winds, turn into gray cloud,
and the time when this dismal gray cloud turns around the hillsides
over this village, drifts along the riversides by that village and falls
on the water’s edge as a drizzle, the villagers come to the village square
calling moon and stars above the sky while stepping
on the fallen leaves on the path that links to tomorrow.

When the moonlight wanes to fall on the water and become ripples,
the stars close their twinkling eyes overwhelmed by deepening night
and fall to sleep in the depths of water, the lads sit around the bonfire
sharing their body temperature with all the tribesmen
to hear the elder’s story regarding relationship
for the forefathers’ forefather with totem pole.

And as time goes by, the night falls deeper and deeper
the good-hearted artless Haida converse with carved image
that flames in the bonfire light on the top of the totem pole
wearing the masks created with a whole spirit

and utmost devotion to the Spirit
that lives within the totem pole.

SELF-RESPECT

Self-respect,
Prince of my heart,
Crown of my character
Bastion of my dignity
Compass of my life,
Through
Many battles have we been
Against formidable
Opponents
Who has tested our resolve in
Words and deeds many
A time
Expecting to break us
Apart
By tempting me
With their promises:
Of riches
Of positions,
Of fame and
Of pleasures unending
But
Never have I, even considered,
You to betray
For how could I ever allow anyone, you,
From your throne to overthrow
And
Your Jewel’s brightness to dim,
Or your image to tarnish?
For
If I had given in to their
Demands
An empty shell, without
A soul,
Would I have, forever,
Remained!

The bubble is bound to burst

The bubble is bound to burst
before long; therefore at least
A gondola you should opt for
For letting loose your emotions
Loaded with almost all oceans
Curved currents and foams
Potential fear amidst delight
and excitement; your sights
blurred by beauty that roams

along the edges of the figure
Flooding your whole existence
Mopping off all distance
Of time and space in braincase
Only the embrace, you write
and replace, the lips and face
In cloud base and fireplace
In cold case and in a horse race
Mewing wooing cooing
Howling, growling, prowling.
Doing, undoing and redoing

Life is never a straight line
Bland canned and flatland
It's waist band and dreamland
Fascinating woodland
Crescent and fluorescent
Incessantly effervescent

So no monochrome of woe
No saying always not and no
Instead, the bugle of gusto
In the meadow with a rainbow
Always the wonderful gun
In your lovely hair-bun

Mary, Mary Mother Of Humanity

Mary, Mary mother of Humanity
we kneel before you singing praises
as angels stare at your image
of holiness, even they proclaim your grace;
and more than each star in this universe:
they are truly joyful and long for serenity!

Mary, Mary mother of Humanity,
you fill empty hearts with hope;
there's nobody feeling unloved:
everyone is praying fervently...
asking for consolation and mercy.
Their hymns help them cope
and rise above misery and unrest...
whenever they are afflicted
with sorrow in their chest!

Mary, Mary mother of Humanity
with eyes very tender and merciful,
keep us in your fond embrace:
be that lighthouse illuminating
the Human Race reaching out farther,
not knowing how certain is peace!

Mary, Mary mother of Humanity
reign on your throne of splendor,
guard us against Satan's rageful jealousy,
empower us with humility and obedience,
thrill is with spiritual and perpetual joy;
we will not find anywhere a holier mother,
a kinder mother who understands our pain!

Shadow Sitting

It was an image, dark and eerily gray
for a moment I was sure I knew her way
but within her shadowed distant face
 none revealed the treasures of her hidden grace;
there was no smile, no laugh or cry,
you could see the depth in her eyes,
only hair kept her discrete
as life kept her well hidden and obsolete
neither twitch nor scorn allowed her to take her turn
nor mend the heartbreak of love now long burned.
So, as you pass,
 don't keep your eyes downcast
lookup and straight or miss your chance
to offer comfort, empathy for her circumstance.

Premium Member Loving An Image

There among the soul it lives
The heart of every human desire
Dream of emotions devouring us
Loving An Image of portrayed beauty
Loving one another for who we are

Grievance the eye's tell our story
Our lust for ambition we strive fulfill
Each soul made of the same being
Each darkness sharing same light
Same emotion we all occupy inside

The intensity of such joy in pleasure
Blood pump fearlessly through veins
Heart, loving an image of personality
Loving the being of a stranger unknown
But loving cause that's what we are

Painted echoes of our life's journey
The scars we hide so well behind the smile
Voices we listen there in silence
They talk as well as answer to our mind
Held in light of bondage forever
Starlight, loving of a ghostly soul
A spirit trapped in a still moment of time
