unknown variables quiver the quill 
biting words playfully taking waiting lips
qualitative honeyed eucylyptus elixir 

speaks to you 
bespoke 
in passionate whispers

dripping the burning grenades
intimate soliquays
like a warm feathered breeze

down all your lines 
fuse lit and delicious
scorching taste it wait it

on tongue speaking firm
weighted words loaded 
on erogenous Eros 

erroneous Ares
I gift you a gift
from the war zone

a dangerous body of work
quantitative soft kisses 
following satin fingertips

Peel open 
the pomegranate jewel
kept tight in all its cool chapters

the succulent pink velvet 
territory tasted 
unconquered

bespoke and
unbroken
packed and loaded

I can't help myself I am a LEO. I shall surely go to Hell for saying the following, lol...what you say is true. I'll give you that...poets and writers are a vain, needy, self-congratulatory lot and for ages have been renowned for cliques and vitriol if you do not meet their favours. Envy is an acidic curse that eats away the heart, but it probably adds to their creativity, so let them drown in creativity, something good may come of it. That state of affairs applies within this frothy consommé (unfortunately) and out in the real world of Publishing. Some people think they are writers and some are indeed writers/poets - I like the authors/poets who truly deliver the goods (their stories, their messages) in a unique way. Sophisticated or simple or both.

No doubt the 'classic' laureates might turn in their graves reading my creations - but poetry is an art (this may be debated or not, in blogs, in life) - I am drawn to the abstract; no matter how beautifully succinct a classic piece is - it is always the abstract that magnetises my mind to think, to put together the jigsaw pieces. To not be done with it - in one read. I want to read someone who makes me want to read them again and possibly see another angle to their puzzling story. In paintings (artwork of any form, sculpture, architecture, photography, fashion eg), poetry and Life. The abstract can be read so many ways. For some life is cut and dried, so very simple. For many life is abstract. Some people become writers/poets/artists/musicians, to 'survive' life. Some to make sense of it all. It is a cathartic and transformative process - if it turns into a work of art, how beautiful, whether it is beautiful or ugly. ;)
