Seasons Turn

As the seasons turn, I am worked in progress.
In the summer I burn, refining in process.
In the autumn I turn pale, and shed the dead.
Then in the winter, I am frost bitten to my inner core.
In the waiting for spring, I push hard for new beginnings.

Through it all, I’m in a sphere of holiness,
Which gives me the strength to run this race.
Maybe this is for a better day yet to come,
As I experience this pain and martyrdom.
Lord, I know I’ll see Thee on the other side.

What can I do to survive this terrain?
Where is the renewal which releases my pain?
Why won’t they change and rearrange this strain?
Who can be there for me, when I’m all alone?
Which wars will I win, and will they be known?

I just can’t overcome these battles on my own.
Where is my home, is it where I roam?
Do I get some support, to hold up my fort?
Can I have a friend, or am I to be a friend to all?
Will I ever be reciprocated, so I can answer Thy call?

Our youngest offspring

The breast of this dada heaves
with remorseful painful ache
as if...the insides of my body
into a bajillion pieces break
though anniversary of birth,
I intended to write, but... did rake
akin to hot coals, an overwhelming agony
wrought urgent compulsion to slake

expunging sudden onset, shook me awake,
how this papa brought years of heartache,
upon an innocent newborn,
oh no...definitely "not fake,"
and her elder protective sibling Eden
(understandable not to forgive), - who lake
(like) an "uber quasi mother"
did welcome thee with a fair shake

(twenty Earth orbitz ago February 4th, 2019)
metamorphosed into such an adoring, giving,
and loving lass unbeknownst, when she did make
her debut (passing the
Apgar test with flying colors) for goodness sake
cuz, I betcha you studied while in utero,
thus said standard assessment involving intake
and outflow of breath
as seconds old infant piece of cake,

and unexpected eruption of despair,
thus found me sinking into melancholy air
and compounded as "mother",
and I became aware
how cognitive skills
(additionally low body weight) clear
lee delayed triggering screaming
bouts from thee dear

special Punim, and
oft times this papa flare
with frustration and volley with
reciprocated enraged voice
imbecile and juvenile antics of mine clear
lee heard outside 1148 Greentree Lane
neighbors possibly a grizzly bear
broke loose from the zoo,

or other beast escaped their lair,
thus prompting me to post a sign beware
of the ferocious father, and dare
to enter at your own risk,
and do not forget to mutter a prayer
lest ye be swallowed in one fell swoop,
and nobody would hear
from that person again

cannibalized by Matthew
Scott mailer daemon,
whose surly mood embittered by rare
stints of employment, otherwise we lived
dirt poor surviving on diet of worms, I swear
to be totally "FAKE",
but hyperbole to lyft shaky spear
writs.

Love and loss

#Love_and_loss
Still to date, my emotions are huanted
by a reality that doesn't wanna settle, daunted.
I lay wide wake in the middle of the night
Contemplating, my mind flooded by more questions than answers.

Questioning my capabilities of loving,
Was I harsh, was I toxic, was I not enough?
More questions piles, for the one with answers
Chose to leave, without saying a word.
I wanna cry my heart out but I have shed all the tears in me already, nothing just comes out, anymore.

I know I'm not perfect but my flaws doesn't mean I never tried to better myself daily. All I think, it's worse than having no answers. Caving within, this wound only heals from outside, constantly revived with every thought of why, rips me apart.

On my own, I just can't patch it together by myself. Thought love was about opening hearts to each other, confiding with each other, speaking our thoughts and pouring our emotions but it's clear,
I was the only one with that mindset.

How selfish of you, to bang the lid of my heart,
I say selfish, maybe you were never part of us,
All was just in my mind, hoped it would be contagious to you and maybe, reciprocated.

You left with your silence, a mutilating thread to my sanity, my healing, my self trust, yet you never cared, nor thought twice about me and my feelings.

Denied me answers but wicked when you cut my fatherhood cord, took everything I have prayed for my entire life. You hatred turned you evil, made you a demon, I don't wish to cross path with. Hope you sleep well at night knowing the intensity of pain you left me with to overcome.

Hope to wake up from this nightmare,
The trauma in my soul, this driping blood in my heart.
Hope heaven forgives you on my behalf.

Why France

France gave America the Statue of Liberty,
In 1865, from Edouard de Laboulaya, his act;
It begot Joan of Arc who insisted that,
Nationality bet religion as a matter of fact.

The Free French were renown in WW II,
For an innate determination which alit,
The will of those sinking around them,
For the democratic heart that was split.

It produced Thomas Piketty with his book Capital,
Which called for a global tax of all richer states,
To redistribute income for egalitarianism,
For freedom and for the poverty liberation straits.

The death of Jihadi John set it all off,
As he was the symbol of the Islamic State,
Most definitely and without reservations,
He was the one with the credal slate.

But France today has an interventionist policy,
In Syria, and is the most vocal nation of all,
Insisting that President Assad needs to go,
To enable free democracy to stand tall.

In 2010 Qatar, an Arab state with oil and gas,
Won the bid to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup;
When a UK government employee questioned this,
In November 2014, he caused a very real hiccup.

France was said to have validated Qatar,
To chief Sepp Blatter who was eventually removed;
I can’t dismiss that Qatar would have reciprocated,
With gifts of money for the French to be proved.

With some of Qatar’s money, flowing and free,
France would’ve strengthened its foreign policy,
Doubled its presence in Syria, or even tripled it,
With the USA and others following likewise - oui.

So the French people’s ability to fight ISIS,
Is important to Syrian Islamists who are fully aware,
That the size of an army determines its success,
Thus Qatar’s allegiances are ISILs concern to beware.

Premium Member Dirty Dreaming

I thought about you last night;
I hope that you don’t mind;
You showed up in my nighttime dream,
One of those sexually explicit kind.

You may not think of me like this,
And to be quite honestly true,
I am just a little bit surprised
That my dream had featured you.

I don’t mean to embarrass you,
Or put you on the spot;
I just thought I would mention that
In my dream you were really hot.

I hope that this admission
Doesn’t ruin our friendship;
I wonder if reciprocated,
Would you dare to mention it?

So with your permission,
If I can influence my dreams,
I’d like to allow my consciousness
To continue with this theme.

The Curse of the Hopeless

You hold someone down, do what they don't ask, fulfill their wildest dream, to not feel reciprocated, to feel you are being used, while your needs drift down stream.
You endure the pain; you accept your fate every time, ignoring every warning, hoping this one is the last rhymes.
We do this always; we do this cause we are the ones that can handle the pain. We are the ones that are chosen to carry others through the rain.
"I'm never gonna love again" "I'm done trying to be happy", things we have all said, things that have made us all scrappy.
Your emotions run so deep, your emotions are on the edge of your sleeve, not everyone can handle this way, most people will run, most people will leave.
Butt, don't be tearful, don't be sad. You will always find love, no matter how horrible you've had.
Just remember people come into your life as blessings or lessons. Don't hold grudges life is too short, forgive easily and live free of obsessions.
Some people will come into your life to disturb it and cause chaos. The right people will bring you peace without making you feel like a boss.
My thoughts float to the Emperor penguin, showcased in "Happy Feet" finding their song partners. When you hear the right song, you won't have to question intentions. They make you feel safer and more hopeful as kindergartners.
As much as you think being hopelessly romantic is a curse, one day you find the one, you will find the one that will hold you tighter than a compact out of a prostitute’s purse...
No, no, no, that's too dark. Let me try another spark.
As much as you think being a hopeless romantic is a curse, you will soon find the one that will hold you tighter than a casket being held by a hearse...
Wow, dude, could you be any darker? You couldn't be any more darkening with a permanent marker.
As much as you think being a hopeless romantic is a curse, you will soon find the one that will hold you tighter than an arm being poked by a nurse.
M'kay, m'kay that's the one that sounds the best, that's the one that will show I'm not a mess.

~ the one who fears love...painful experiences must be included ~
                                               my quote

Who twisted the strings on the guitar?
A fading sound from a noisy bar
As the wind from the bare window
barn swallows fly low, you know
                                     His emotions blown away
                                    recyclable, but will not stay

                                      The parchment cracks
from bird's eye view a climax
                                the night charmer in camouflage
she is waiting for his following barrage
                                 Her love was never reciprocated
                                     being loved is complicated

God's only son

Charred in solace of your embrace
reminiscences engrossed as imprint
harboured in placards of your grace

A birth, a thousand with no squint
in winter's pure pour of snow
reminiscences engrossed as imprint

Giggling with nights glow
in waxes and treelights
in winter's pure pour of snow

One who ignites in delights
grining in fire and refuge
in waxes and treelights

A festivity of tunes and rouge
that twirls in vitality
grining in fire and refuge

Presents reciprocated in sib purity
charred in solace of your embrace
that twirls in vitality
harboured in placards of your grace

Premium Member Life Ending in Emptiness

“ Achievements of active dynamic life turn obsolete at end.” - Poet

Mind walks on emptiness.. lone sailor on voyage,....
   sailing aimless..
Nothing to achieve more, nothing to lose from empty core.....,
nothing new to explore in last stage of life,
  emptiness chasing me....enclosing, encircling, encompassing......
       where can I flee ?
Matters little being careful or careless !

 Life passing through last phase,.....
    dull hazy sky to gaze...
Not to bo blamed. nor to be praised,
     more or less blank page.
Static stagnant life. … without glamour or glee,
     dragging purposeless meaningless life
on suffocated breath ...... struggling for fresh air..

I reminisce closeness of emotional bonds .....
     shared with parents...grand parents
   and intimate friends,..
...if only once I could meet them .
Those fervent feelings are left now to sigh.
I miss my bygone golden days....
when dynamic life flaunting multiple activities
in challenging channels running ceaseless ..
      without break !
Time management was so hard with endless works.

Now old age turning last few pages of life .....
offering ample time with no work.
Grown up children lead own lives leaving their childhood
          in my lap.
Days are going, bleaker, bitter, dull, gloomy, desolate
I ruminate my ardent ardour once reciprocated,
now sank in abyss of old memories left behind. ....
      couldn't rewind...
Ready to close the last chapter of life in emptiness.

Left Handed Chemistry and An Empty Magic Lamp

you are on my mind yet so far away
left handed chemistry never felt so good
if only mutual feelings could be reached
images of bumping into each other at a beach access stays firm and stubborn in my mind
something about you....always been something about you....
though your color is different from mine, all i see is the natural beauty of your vibe
we cannot be anymore different
we cannot be anymore distant
yet when we connect, it is like time is a stop sign painted green
just to see you again....i do not think i will have any control over my libido, my lips, or my tongue
of course you only see me as a special and precious friend, and i would never disrespect you and try to go beyond back
if you reciprocated the direction my mind is taking right now twenty some odd years ago, perhaps this poem would be written a totally different way
you are so close in my mind yet your heart is in too far away from me today to even attempt a play
