~ the one who fears love...painful experiences must be included ~
                                               my quote

Who twisted the strings on the guitar?
A fading sound from a noisy bar
As the wind from the bare window
barn swallows fly low, you know
                                     His emotions blown away
                                    recyclable, but will not stay

                                      The parchment cracks
from bird's eye view a climax
                                the night charmer in camouflage
she is waiting for his following barrage
                                 Her love was never reciprocated
                                     being loved is complicated

Being loved is complicated, so true. Inspirational poetry Anne-Lise, there’s so many ways to write of what being loved means and you do it with ease… Belle

Some see love as a one-night stand, which obviously brings it own problems. It keeps us going though, so we pursue it.

For most of the world it is complicated...but I think you would only need be yourself, Lise. A rolling stone...gone with the first wind, a slight breeze enough for many to depart these days. Excellent writing.

It's sad, yet - yes, complicated - yes, sometimes that is the way it is and oftentimes, so confusing and disconcerting. Wonderful writing. A winner for sure. Alive with emotion and meaning. God bless you my friend, Love, Gina

the disarray of the world's confusion pictured in your poem is stunning, it reads like life, not knowing what's coming next...good luck

- You're right that it's about life, Fredric... life and love... not the true love...but, the cold unfeeling one - Thank you for your comment :) - hugs

OK this will sound wrong, because I liked it as I read it, and I cant say why. Its disjointed to me but that ads to the mystery. Then I saw the toss of the dice, and your poem told me she is waiting for him to come to her. This is unusual Anne-Lise, and being unique is what makes it special.

ahhh I see you have changed the words and the dice throw is changed. Sorry Anne-Lise its like you lifted a veil. Well done. Now this dummy understands perfectly. Sorry that you had to change it for me, I bet every one else understood. Great poem. BOL

Anne-Lise, I'm not sure if I'm discerning your meaning in this one, and if not, I still appreciate the mood you've set with the ominous words and photo you've chosen.
