Buffed our learning to a shining.

Gently He said good morning
Let us learn .. are you ready ?
Told a unexpected blonde story
Everyone expected a romantic
But it was just a ordinary story
Of another scandal.
Don't presume to conclude
One day you got to make living
On your learning
And not your assuming
Raise your hands ready !

Fantastico pianisso maestro

Folded arm's will style you a lazy fool.
Do your assignment or
You will be unemployment.
Be vigilant of a demon
Not to rubbish your way
Never kiss the wrong lips.
Change the history of your poverty
Abstain the doubt on your speculate
Know noun from verb
And abstract in art.

Be awake more than once
Strike wide-awake on all ears.

Devotion Poem Anniversary

DEVOTION POEM 39th ANNIVERSARY

On this stilled night,
Dare I presume?

After a listening to the way
Einstein came to realize his
   Relativity realities,

Dare I presume to sit once overagain in memory
In a student center’s crowded circumstances…?

To choose you, to offer a share of my
Sandwich, snapping a mental photo of your hands,

Which in our years I will come to love, able
To imagine their frequent, gentle touch over

My skin, just as your eyes always do, as still, after
All these years as if asking permission for its sought sight of me.

Do we presume in our dancing angles so relative
To our decades of delighted diagonals resting our heads

On each other’s chests, feeling the warmth, the slow
Up and down as breaths go on? Hold then, once again

My heart in your hands, as we incline back or lean forward
In time, in this astounding utterance of long years — 39 —

That I dare not utter without some marveling tears;
For my long ago hopes of this togetherness,

I once but presumed to bear, a simple maid
With hopes of loving thee, with a love that can bring you

Some joy in its life and length of passion.
A dream, a hope, a vow become reality.

The deepest love can presume its memories to seem as
If they occurred only yesterday, held in the heart
    Once over, living again.

Who Are You

Who Are You?

Who are you, and whom do you presume to be?
Do you see the law court as hesitant to convict?
Will it take you as a minority, given sympathy?
To be considered for bending the tough verdict?

Only sixty percent believe in god, are Christian,
After all, that’s a small amount indeed, sure!
It’s as if church and state remain one curtain,
Together, not a secular politics that can assure.

Do you think your deeds will never be found?
Never be reckoned with so justice can be done?
Are you sure it doesn’t matter, you’re sound,
When your section will become suppression?

Abuse is not temporary, it lasts for all time,
In the mind, in the physical, and the social,
And if you demand silence anymore, just die,
Accept the criticism that’s ardent and vocal.

Youth

A saucy boy, a scuffle & kerfuffle
A hankering girl
with many a desperate dream;
angst so easily ruffled.

Green the beaming callow face.
The fairest maid so winsome now
sees also a
fading fall from grace.

One and all stumble over
many a pimple and spot
(those windows to the soul},
clearly revealing an inner grot.

Lads and their closeted wagging
an unwanted chastity raging.
Cupid smiles upon their childish gush;
their race to puberty
one deeply pulsing rush.

Merry the mighty vows they break.
travelers for the journeys sake.

Pilgrims are they all, and when they reach,
our age they presume to teach
for they have captured our minds
and they will use those minds against us.
It was ever thus.

Like a Prayer

Inspired by a moving storyline. May our prayers and beliefs guide our lives and life purpose. Life can be challenging. But love, hope and faith are powerful beyond human understanding. Stay blessed and take care.

Like a prayer
By Michelle Morris
22/07/2023

Like a prayer to the Lord
In supplication I bow my head
So many thoughts in my mind
I'm trying to pacify the dread

Every day is another struggle
To embrace Fate and Destiny's collision
Observing in slow motion
But impossible to prevent its friction

Talking to God and His Angels
Answers to questions being asked
They want me to be strong
Not accept any defeat or harm

We cannot presume to know
What the Universe ultimately desires
We must valiantly play our part
And focus on our learning spirals

Like a prayer we speak to Heaven
Powerful and eternal lessons entwine
May we be blessed for evermore
Experiencing our divinity through time

Premium Member Lessons From the Grave

Sometimes I’ve wondered – and, yes
I’ve pondered,
Wondering about my Grandpa’s lessons…
He was sometimes so kind, others – so wise,
Yet, whenever I think back, my memory goes blank…
Sadly, when he left this life behind –
Even though we all cried and cried…
He took many of those lessons with him, to the grave,
Where they’ll forever be remembered
As the lost, lonely messages in rhythm
With the melancholy of a moment lost,
A moment gone beyond this world, into forever…
Where I’m sure his dreams have been heard,
And, we can know – with assurance,
That his love is counted as the most brilliant
And beautiful … truth that calms and reassures,…
There, in that marvelous place, heaven - where
Even the angels, no doubt, benefit from his message,
A message brought to life by the knowing…
Of One who gentles even the darkest storms,
One who silences the deadliest doom,
One who abides with us… when we feel so alone!

Yes, it was Him, the very best friend…
Who brought my Grandpa so much love,
So much meaning from up above,
Where he is living with the One who taught him…
To give without expectation,
To provide more than he could presume to gain,
To offer love that would forever remain…
His gift to a world who is filled with so much pain,
A world that is flooded by darkness and sorrow,
A world that needs the blessings of a sincere heart,
A world that is wrong, but a world that God’s Son…
Died to save – from the loneliest grave,
From the darkest doom – from the fear so appalling,
From the flames of hell, where the devil keeps calling…
Those who don’t know Him, the answer to every fear,
The reason that hope is here – the love that comes near…
To those who believe and agree…

Like my Grandpa – to be saved by grace,
Saved through faith – saved…
So that all that remains, is a love that promises hearts –
Forever, eternity, always with the One
Who prevents the world from being lost beyond the promise…
Of a love that silences the darkness,
A love that fulfills the heart,
A love that is forever and always…
Alive in the soul who knows Him as Savior…

Jesus, the light, the way, the maker of today and yesterday
The reason that I can cling to the hope that my Grandpa told me of,
The hope of everlasting peace with the One who created me to believe!

The Stranger In Me

The soul needs remain anonymous
Like a stranger you and I
No need to presume to be presumptuous
Less the need for truth and lies

To be living is to be judged
By you or another, even a self
The simplest without touch
The hardest without wealth

Have you a life with a soul in?
Alike sleep with a dream to remember
And did you remember what it mean?
Or rather reality is the only answer?

Amongst the many to barely be
Have we not always look in ourselves for the answer?
With the many strangers to everyday see
Are we becoming ourselves or ourselves lesser?

When even a soul betrays
A stranger is likely to pass you and I
There are words, if only to say
Less the need for truth and lies

Premium Member Do Not Disturb the Night

Long doors of dark have closed upon the day
And though the wind will batter till the knuckles bleed
It cannot presume to summon morning dawn
Or lift relentless bars, to welcome sun

The light is pillowed deep in slumber’s grip
Do not disturb is hung upon the knob
Unwelcoming, while daybreak still is sleeping
And earth takes respite from the busy day
And dreaming stars are breathing silent sighs
Whisper softly, tiptoe gently
Take care, thus not break the spell
You cannot speed, the night must sleep
The clock ticks on, and patience is the friend
Withhold the futile beating hand
Grow wise in silence and keep the peace
So when the dawn comes by to let you in
Much brighter still, it comes to greet
A welcome mat beneath your feet
Unlocked and free to enter as you please
Companioned by a warm serenity

Almost Lover

How do we get past this?
Do we even have a choice?
I know it can’t go further,
But it seems I’ve lost my voice.

Already with another,
I can’t claim you as my own.
Am I wasting moments?
While I sit and wait alone.

I don’t know how to stop this,
Not even sure I could,
Enjoying time together,
They way I knew we would.

Pursuing lost potential,
Ideals that will not pass.
How much should be invested,
When I know it will not last.

Do you want a lover?
Uncomplicated fun?
Will you take advantage?
Should I stay or should I run?

Running leaves me tired,
It doesn’t change a thing.
Time will still have passed us,
And the pain of it will sting.

Almost something special,
Do I stop and take a stance?
Years ago, long ago…
I would have stood a chance.

I feel I’ve known you always,
That it’s right when it is wrong.
Someone else who loves you,
So I stay and yet I long…

Do you think it easy?
What of the effects?
Do you think I’m coping?
Or is this just a test?

I know you think me hardy,
That I’m fine the way we are.
Don’t presume to know me,
Or how I feel at heart.

Time will show our ending,
A start of something new?
If that is not the answer,
Then the start of leaving you…

To presume to write to someone about courage
and not complaining, don't importune or make dying people cry.
I've always said Leave me alone with autumn.
Don't stand around my bed, I won't be in it.

Over 7 years after he died, I finally looked
through my father's papers. Couple of unclaimed insurance policies,
savings bonds, our genealogy and on graph paper in an engineer's
block lettering quotations from The Seat of the Soul.

Reincarnation and karma are the chicken soup of the soul,
the after life is the reward for our colossal imperfections.
Along with banking instructions, he'd underlined
this: Your soul is immortal. It exists

outside of time. It has no beginning and no end.
Every time you ask for guidance you receive it.
If we are not at home in the world, contributing purpose,
we lose our desire to stay here -- ?and we die.

The physical world is an unaccountable given in which we unaccountably
find ourselves and which we strive to dominate to survive
or it is a learning environment created jointly by the souls that share it
and everything that occurs within it serves our learning.

Sin is activity directed toward self rather than toward service
to others. Sickness is sin. Almost any condition can be corrected.
You are part of God, therefore, think in a godly manner.
If you cannot accept this, forget it all. Do not even begin.

The first act of free will: How do I wish to learn?
If we participate in the cause, it is impossible not to participate in the
      effect.
We shall come to honor all of life sooner or later.
Until you become aware of the effects of your anger, you will continue to
      be an angry person.

Walking is the most commonly suggested exercise. Also, breathing.
"Thy will be done." Concentrate on that!
These expressions of certainty, conjectures and guesses
were inscribed by him in block letters on graph paper.
