Like a prayer By Michelle Morris 22/07/2023 Like a prayer to the Lord In supplication I bow my head So many thoughts in my mind I'm trying to pacify the dread Every day is another struggle To embrace Fate and Destiny's collision Observing in slow motion But impossible to prevent its friction Talking to God and His Angels Answers to questions being asked They want me to be strong Not accept any defeat or harm We cannot presume to know What the Universe ultimately desires We must valiantly play our part And focus on our learning spirals Like a prayer we speak to Heaven Powerful and eternal lessons entwine May we be blessed for evermore Experiencing our divinity through time © Michelle Morris, 2023
