My nutty week stays long in my memory
My brain didn't process like it would normally
But just to be sure I now lay of the pink gin
I will share you my tale and shall now begin.

Paracetamol had been placed inside the freezer
Then found in the bread bin, the daily newspaper
My mouthwash was used as a face cleanser
Then sprayed underarms with the air freshener.

When cooking dinner I put no water in pans
Smoke and burnt offerings, so opened a soup can
Two hours of slow sewing, repairing some things
Only to discover I'd missed both sides of the seams.

Made tea instead of coffee, an easy mistake
But my feather head told me it's chocolate milk shake
Lucky that time the tea had cooled down
But annoyed with myself and felt a right clown.

Was I losing my marbles? why all the muddles?
That week I seemed in a right fuddy duddle
But the last straw came when I went to bed
I had slept on the floor of the garden shed.

The second stanza is true, I have done all that
The rest is made up for bit of spoof slap
But wanted a poem for the nutty contest
This I made up from my nutty mind set.

Silence Is Golden Not a Saying

"Silence is golden",a talking slogan,
In the world of words unborn jargon,
A reward in gold for words unspoken,
But no any awards for words spoken,
"Spoken words unable to come back",
Mixing air like aqua in milk shake,
Words creeping like fearful snakes,
Kissing slowly the tongue that makes,
Poisonous words like poisonous snakes,
Poisonous words like poisonous snakes,
Hurting words like wounds over the skin,
Scars remain as a sign of big sin,
Use of abuse no peace,it seem,
Tasting leaves like trees of neem,
Using abuse,refusing right,
Hell not heaven in the users sight,
Silence all what the universal system,
Speaking people all breaking the system,
Silence is golden,not someone's saying,
But a line of pen,of a soul non speaking!

Premium Member The Same As Yesterday

“You’ve been married for 35 years!”
a young couple asked an old couple on their anniversary.
“That’s amazing…That’s so great!”
“After 35 years together…how will you celebrate?”

Then this old couple, who in their 35 years together
had grown old and gray…held hands, smiled at one another
and said…“The same as yesterday!”

“I almost lost him years ago.” The old woman said.
“And we decided from that date…every day we wake up together…
is a day to celebrate.”

“It may sound corny…or boring…a little dull…perhaps cliché
but why would we wait for once a year…when we can celebrate every day?”

We learned a valuable lesson from that old couple…
How we don’t have to wait…
How every day that we’re together…is a day to celebrate.”

Now, after 35 years…we’re that old couple
who together have grown old and gray…
who, when asked how we intend to celebrate
say…“The same as yesterday.”

In case you’re wondering how we celebrated
another day together we have reached…
It was with grouper nuggets, she crab soup…
followed by a vanilla malted and chocolate milk shake
together…at the beach.

what are you drinking

Tell me, what are you drinking,
I would tell you who you are, yes,
Tea or chamomile,
Some pink bergamot,
A coffee always iced,

Who will drink bourbon,
If Cécilia leaves him, OR Marie,
Who will drink cognac?

Tell me, what are you drinking,
Jurançon or hot chocolate,
Monbazillac to sleep again,
Some Caipirinha to dream of Gaelle,
I’ll tell you who you are. Oh yes.

14

Tell me, what are you drinking,
Champagne on Sundays,
Bergamot tea, or milk
Or sweet carrot juice,
I’ll tell you who you are.

Summer can be deadly,
It’s better to quench your thirst,
On the beach of Malibu,

Tell me, what are you drinking,
A banana milk shake,
in Damascus or Portland,
An iced tea with lemon,
I’d offer you another drink.

My Poetry

My poetry,
                is not served in cocktails,
                and it's not fruit salad,
                nor milk shake, dessert ...
                It's not steak and fries,
                and it's not botox ...
                It doesn't unlock doors.
                don't push a car
                in stride,
                does not sign
                 blank checks,
                does not slice
                meat in barbecue,
                does not pilot
                rocket in space ...
                Nothing practical does !!
                But it touches hearts
                in smart procedures,
                softens spirits to
                noble deeds of peace,
                harmonize for
                love...
                Mainly for
                the understanding
                never leads to
                strike or war,
                 and is not poisonous
                 Whoever does this,
does not come to poetry ...
                 follow orders to
                 ideologies service ...
                 My poetry is ethereal.
                 sacred spiritual bread ...!

It bounced down my street like a mad thing on heat
Or a kangaroo doing a trick
The farmer that blocked it was knocked off his feet
By his cow on an old pogo stick

So a cow on a pogo stick bounced down my street
The footrests weren't right for her hooves
So they're welded with superglue onto her feet
Which is okay so long as she moves

But you can’t stand still on a pogo stick
Cos if you do you will fall over
So she bounced on her stick and she went quite a lick
As the farmer pursued her to dover

She hopped on a ferry, they thought she was merry
As she did her mechanical ballet
She said she had nary so much as a sherry
And she promised to hop off at Calais

A shift of the rudder made the ship shudder
Our cow made a messy mistake
Thanks to that judder she jiggled an udder
And sprayed half the deck with milk shake

Her strange bouncy dance continued in France
Until the old farmer arrived
A touch of sedation and glue separation
Meant our bouncy bovine survived

Premium Member Ivory Flakes

   Snowfall in winter
   drizzling as ivory flakes.
   Chilled breeze blowing
    as if without break.

    Jack Frost jumping,
    busy to jog,
    even crazy
    in mist and fog.

    Floating in wind
    ivory flakes :
    Jack Frost walking
    on frozen lakes.

Sitting on bough of birch tree
    White owl rotating neck.
    Ceaseless falling
    ivory flakes :
    Woodpecker didn't
     dare to peck.

     Declared snowy day :
     Watch shower of ivory flakes
     imprisoned at home.
     Enjoy hot milk shake.

     Lost love to reminisce
     looking at flying ivory flakes
     Leave fake hope,
     lost love not to remake.

Under single quilt, sweetheart to take,
     wishing little warmth.
     Outside drizzling ivory flakes !
     Spend night in mirth.

Modern Way To Make a Pass At a Girl

Said a modern young man
to a possible intended to be a
serious dating girlfriend:

Oh babe...I feel from afar
your delicious fragrance of
braised onion in
mom's frying pan...
You have the perfume so
mind-blowing as cheese
grated by grandma ...
You taste finer than
 a the best selling
 sandwich of Mac Donald ...!
You're over appetizing than
a Steak and Chips,
than a pasta
with sauce ...
Your kiss tastes plus
soft than milk shake,
or a Neapolitan ice cream!
I desire you, as i
 spirit drink
with energetic, but i love you
mostly when you come hot
dressing "Cold Blond" ...
And she became ... enchanted
for a lovely date !!!
