November first two thousand nineteen...
abuzz with Autumnal thrum
Divine myriad biota amidst
heavenly Lily of the valley
(Convallaria majalis),
he didst imaginatively greet
Edenic heavenly terra
incognita immeasurably sweet
nature's ensemble proffering
Gaia's quintessential orchestration
resplendent sensational treat
natural splendour regaling,
this fellow wayfarer
happenstance gifted autochthonous peoples
espied proud specimens unobtrusive
planted armada, viz sleek bodies fleet,
of foot while me accidentally
risking, schlepping, traipsing... offbeat
winessed unschooled tribe,
yet verily synchronized,
primed, muscled... athlete
their soundless rhythmic swiftly tailored
flit to and fro upon poetic
unshod calloused feet
carefully, gingerly, lightly...
I shod dully tread nsync
toward drumlins upbeat
mouthing, kneading, imbibing... glorious
ebullient choral unadulterated feat
extemporaneously kickstarting crisp and neat
pow hour full rhythm across
analogous macroscopic excellent spreadsheet
inducing their sonorous symphonic
roundelay unfamiliar tweet,
whereby flora and fauna future meal to eat
oblivious regarding mine seat
dated existence, which quiescent aesthete,
yours truly basked,
froliced, luxuriated... complete
as once innocent hymnals kindled atrocity
this observer, spectator aghast white as sheet,
how civilization's machinations didst deplete
terrestrial firmament within one fell stroke
eradicated once pristine unbroken
promises chiseled to cheat
rightful owners expansive swath
over yonder til ocean and land did meet
Europeans scoured seas one after another
lumbering bulwarked fleet
exhausting resources while simultaneous
mowing down aborigines
grotesquely analogous harvesting wheat
indiscriminate deliberate genocide
decimating indigenous tribes beat
defenseless against microbial
weapons of mass destruction,
thus only within third blind eye
courtesy invisible paleface with tenderfeet
strictly envisioned Perkiomen Valley
once abundantly populated
with ample game during cold and/or heat
paradise unbroken stretched hinterland,
where place names mock to pay hollow tribute,
where native peoples no longer replete
vinyl city amidst amidst graveyard
lovely bones turned to dust
paved over by mainstreet.
Ajuga, will be a must, a blue beauty that blows in the wind.
Bellflowers, charming and faithful and lovely, of course I must have
Candy Tufts from gardens of long gone, enchanting. And mother's favourite,
Daylilies, in a rainbow of colors, Delphinium and Daffodils also, so dramatic.
Evening Primrose along the fence will create quite a stir, and on the porch
False Watercress spilling out of a container, and then old dependable,
Geraniums and Glory In The Snow, I love my dreamy dream of spring flowers.
Hyacinths, scented jewels of color sparkle in my garden, along with
Iris Reticulata, an early spring treasure, it will be a wonderful place.
Jacob's Ladder, with blue-purple blooms, mingle with Johnny-Jump-Ups.
Kalmia Latifolia, pure white blooms, related to the laurel family.
Lily-of-the Valley, so sweet and fragrant, how could I forget you and,
Meadow Rue, a lavender wave in the wind, and anther old dependable,
Nasturium, a gardeners dream and it is also edible. Oh my list is long!
Oriental Poppy, was there ever a more heavenly gift from God, except maybe
Pasque Flower, unfolding from beneath the snow, and those Pansies and Petunias!
Queen Anne's Lace, so pretty is her lacework, did you know ishe is a wild carrot?
Rosemary, with a scented pretty flower, like dew in the morning is a must, as is
Sage, that billowy haze of lavender, pushing away the rainbow Snapdragons.
Thrift, delightful vintage touch to my rock garden in the shade, sweet the tulips too.
Umbrella Magnolia growing in the garden corner, with creamy white blooms, and
Vinca Periwinkle with lovely blue flowers, friends to Violet and Viola.
Wall Flowers, who love the sun, drooping with snow cap jewels, oh over there
Xenia's blooming in marine colors, so unique. And here a childhood love,
Yellow Anemone, aka Buttercup, who does not love Buttercup?
Zinnia, friend of Sunflower, elegant and colorful, nods. Must this dream end!

I fail to sleep by night as
My soul sails away from me
My eyelids collapse, heavy with sleep
As I hear toothless voices
Spouting out truth like a fountain with rusty waters
They inform me of memories I knew nothing of
The memories lost with those who came to pass
The memories of ways healing to my loneliness
And portions to my present sorrows (cause of lament)
Memories of gifts, that promises as heavy clouds promises heavy rain
I hear the lamentations of those long gone as they whisper unto me
Their whispers thin with our desires
Their faces marked with maps of aging
They say child
Long have we sought for peace from the beginning of our beings,
Timeless have we blamed the rivers of being dump purposely because of their everlasting endurance
But now as you can tell, the pursuer has caught up with us, the weary
So we chose the dry shell to arouse
For you the eggshell when planted with the right yolk, the outcome is
Gifts available in abundance
Run and never grow weary
You may live calmly as you please
A life of slow life style
And never hurry or rush
A life of patiency, for you need not hurry
The yoke is in you
As i try to reason all this
I notice that of all these writings I scribble
I am beyond age to understand
For I wrote in ancient vowels everyone seemed to have forgotten
For sure I am a hatchling
Simplify your riddles you whom dust has claimed
For I am a hatchling compared to your knowledge
Pardon I ask
Puzzled as i was I asked for translation
Ask who my child?
The great voices turn to trembling voices as they say
Ask the florist where to find the rose of Sharon
Ask the builders which is the chief cornerstone
Ask the physicians which is the greatest amongst them all
Ask the Einsteins for the source of eternal data
And when you find the lily of the valley
He shall lead you wherever He goes, He shall carry you through difficult phases
For He is the good Shepherd, the greatest amongst them all
He shall renew your shell
Fill in the yoke
And the river of flowing living waters shall flow in you
now voice.
Amassed in flamboyant Azalea blooms when my garden is free of the cold.
Bird of Paradise, dressed in purple and orange, wear their colors so bold.
Crocus bloom when the mounds of snow finally melt and say, "Goodbye."
Daffodils display delightful faces and seem to be greeting me with a, "Hi."
Easter Cactus in pink and salmon, adds bursts of color in hanging pots.
Favorite in my garden are the carpets of romantic little Forget-Me-Nots.
Gardenia shrubs line my walkways with sweetest scent to tempt the bees.
Hyacinths are compact flowers on a single stem, but cause me to sneeze.
In early Spring my beds of Irises trumpet that a new season has begun.
Jasmine on the vine attracts hummingbirds in my garden spots full of sun.
Kerria bushes keep my yard enhanced in shades of chartreuse and gold.
Lily of the Valley is said to bring lots of happiness to the young and old.
Mock Orange, a pretty perfumed flower, prim and proper in purest white.
Nandina, Heavenly Bamboo, have bronzed red leaves of medium height.
Oleander clusters are a riot of color on the end of green foliage so tall.
Peonies add charm and grace in pink pastels all along my garden wall.
Queen of the Prairie in the landscape, reach up to the sun and the sky.
Rusty Foxglove is a late Spring perennial, I find very pleasing to the eye.
Sharing a treasured vase with them, I will select the lovely Shasta Daisy.
Three Lobe Spirea (Bridal Veil), is so easy to grow it could make me lazy.
Under the shade trees grow Urn Bromiliads, on driftwood from the river.
Verbena is Queen of the rock garden, in shades of burgundy she'll deliver.
Wisteria, in white or lavender, hangs in sadness until it withers away to die.
Xylosma blooms in masses of berries, in hedge rows of separation they lie.
Yarrow's blossoms are medicinal, likes dry soil and an occasional drought.
Zesty Zephyr Lily can grow in the wild but it's one I could never do without.

"Above all I must have flowers, always and always."
Quote by _Claude Monet
Another day of rain in my dream garden
But, the flowers still seem to be quite happy
Cupid's Dart, seems to be created by an artist's brush
Dazzles in watercolour lavender-blue
English Daisy, so dainty and adorable blooms sweetly
Foxgloves, pink and translucent pop up everywhere
Geranium I have planted in window boxes are bright and sublime
How can I not be happy too
Inside my heart and soul I am tranquility
Jacob's Ladder, in purple is already eight inches tall
Knockout beauty will be my stunning garden in time
Lily-of-the-Valley, richly perfumed grows under a Maple tree
Meadow Rue in pink sways gracefully in the wind
Nothing touches my heart more than mother's Peony transplants
Oriental Poppies will soon be vivid red here and there
Peonies will bloom and I will take some to the cemetery
Queen Anne's Lace, a wildflower I planted because I love it
Rose-Mallow Hibiscus, so dramatic will be bloom in late summer
Shasta Daisy is so joyful swaying, dancing in the breeze
Thyme, Oregano, Parsley and Rosemary have their place
Undaunted by the rain, my flowers simply grow
Violets, in purple were the first to peek from the earth in my garden
Wild Ginger, with their heart shaped leaves makes good tea
X-ray eyes of this gardener will banish all weeds
Yarrow, I truly love you, with your fantastic blend of pastels
Zealous bees zigzag, zip, sip and zoom from flower to flower

CHILDREN OF SPRING
Spring spreads out her parasol
In April, June – always May;
Invites the children of her garden
Come with her to play today.
Yellow Daffodil stands straight up
Announcing Spring with his horn;
Spring arriving! See! Spring now here!
Smile! Not the time to look forlorn.
Jonquil quite often mistaken
For her cousin – bright Daffodil;
So she spreads out her sunny dress
To smile upon the windowsill.
Quick! Open up the garden gate
In rushes Poppy - loves the sun;
Leaves to wander rolling hills
Wears orange bowties – riot of fun.
Tulips gather in the garden
From a land so far away,
With wooden shoes and silver skates,
Sunbeams and rainbows want to play.
Primrose wears her best party dress
Ruffles of purple, pink or gold
She laughs at storms of ice or snow –
Little child but oh so bold.
Thoughtful Pansy sends out greetings
To her playmates missed in the snow;
Her sweet face mirrors her feelings
Open smile sets her eyes aglow.
Bachelor Button – proud as punch –
To be the season’s sparkling bling;
Blue as the sky – rolling oceans –
Sapphire gem – the heart of Spring!
Come back sleepy Forget-Me-Not
So shyly blinking through Spring rain
Laughing when you sly wink at us
From sleep we welcome you again.
Sweet Pea clambers up a trellis –
Tomboy – climbing her delight -
Explores plain, old, wooden fences
Trailing blossoms – lavender – white.
Lily of the Valley child –
Graceful arms wear bracelets of bells;
Listen closely when the wind blows
Springtime’s story in song she tells.
Many children Spring brings to the garden –
Too many to mention all here;
But in her bright smile she pardons -
Loves rhymes and cheer so like Shakespeare.

I am a woman
Compared to the loveliest of flowers
A rose is a rose they say
As it catches the sunlight’s rays
No I am not a rose
I suppose
I am a garden
A garden made up of many flowers I say
I bring to you
Yellow Jasmines meaning Elegance & Grace
I bring Dandelions which are full of Faith
Baby Breath oh they bring such Innocence
We go down to the Lily of the Valley in all of its Humility
Never can we be without the Iris bringing its Wisdom
Pink Carnations run endlessly throughout showing their Gratitude
Gardenias emanate their everlasting Joy
My garden would not be able to exist without Hydrangeas for no one can last without Perseverance
Peony causing Healing to everything I touch
Then there is the Purple Tulips reminding me of my Royalty
For the daughter of a king I am
A garden planted by my creator
King of Kings and Lord of Lords he is the one that knows it all
My petals are soft and the brilliance of my colors emit through my garden
I am not a dry land overtaken by storms left in ruins for nomads to walk about
I am not a desert seeking to quench my thirst for water
I am not trying to fool myself by the oases who have tried to fool me
Living water flows through me
I am a garden Beautiful and full of mystery
My petals could heal and my petals can cause death to an enemy
Do not underestimate the soft beautifulness of my appearance
I am a woman – soft, gentle and beautiful
I am a woman – strong, intelligent, a warrior
I am a garden and my name is…
Eden
Glinting glimpse of amber delight, golden dawn arrives
Enchanted by the symphonious chorus of robins’ voice
As yellow daffodils swing, lilting winds in ruby sunrise
When scented whiffs of pink hyacinth muse your smile
Awakening you from rosy dreams gleaming in your eyes;
Oh, the splendor of spring floats on wings of butterflies!
Hiding in foliage of tall verdant pine, bluebirds twitter joy
While merrily on red-maple tree sparrows dance nearby
As purple peonies, white daisies, on green-edges beautify
And standing tall in blazing colors ornamental tulips vie
Hypnotizing your sight, in awe of beautiful garden paradise;
Oh, the splendor of spring floats on wings of butterflies!
Refracting sun rays, tiny gems glint emerald green grass
While roses red, swaying merrily, adorn our side-walks
Spurring crimson-crested cardinal’s euphoric air dance
As flaunting graceful ambiance, a distinctive blue-jay flies
Circling lily of the valley, where buzzing bees fantasize;
Oh, the splendor of spring floats on wings of butterflies!
As the uplifting sunbeams upon morning’s horizon rise
Amid symphony of colors sensual impulses romanticize
Mesmerizing lyrics of love as rhythms of hearts harmonize
Hoisting tenor of passions high, blushing sapphire skies
Enamored in grandeur of nature’s wondrous enterprise;
Oh, the splendor of spring floats on wings of butterflies!

"WHITE LILY"
When the first
snow-white lily
sprouted from drops of milk
spilled from Hera’s breast
and on her lap sweet Hurcules
rested, baby feather fingers touching
she smiled a surrogate mother’s
fantasy, to make time stop still
reached her hands to
touch the Heavens
creating something of her own
this not from her body torn
her very own Celestial Galaxy
the Milky Way was born
White Lily
lilium
leirion
lilium
leirion
golden ochre anther
Venus rose from
sea of foam
envious with eyes of green
marred it’s beauty
with male pistil
ardent jealousy
White Lily
I am the Rose of Sharon,
Lily of the Valley
Sings the Song of Solomon
Flowers of the Field
White Lily
Springtime Nazareth
blessed Time of Flowers
Our Lady and Our Lord’s
Holy Annunciation
Gabriel fresh from Heaven’s Gate
white petals at his feet
Shining Light Illuminates
Announcement Incarnate
White Lily
Black Night of the Soul
Garden of Gethsemane
not hiding from His enemies
He looks upon their
clean beauty as He prays,
speaking secrets to their stamens
He smiles at their response
3 petals each flower displays.
White Lily
Sacred blood spilt on soil
The water from His side
drink His tears filled with blood
His white robed
Apostles of Hope turn to HIS Light
now they're sanctified
blooming from His Spirit
death denied eternally

1 John 5 (NIV)
For years she has waited for this day
you didn't have much to say but I
guess it's better that way anyways
she says she would write but they knew
she was glad to be getting out of here
and she did not shed one single tear
he took her hand and said don't be
afraid now hence forth our wedding day
And now the Angel has earned her
wings don't you know a heart has to
follow its dreams, in the shadow of an
older man and a set of golden rings
oh lily of the valley, sunshine over
a mountain spring, finding herself
following her dreams and the Angel
has found her wings...
And with child he holds her and tells
her LILY SWEET I know you will
make a good mother she say for the
first time in my life I truly feel alive
and then after another five the light
of love still shines bright in her eyes
And now the Angel has earned her
wings don't you know a heart has to
follow its dreams, in the shadow of an
older man and a set of golden rings
oh lily of the valley, sunshine over
a mountain spring, finding herself
following her dreams and the Angel
has found her wings...
but time and child birth and the
Spanish influenza took its toll on
her little body and six months after
her new born Heaven set her spirit
free, but she held on just long enough
to kiss them all goodbye, then she
quietly died, it was the first time he
ever cried and now the Angel has really
earned her wings in the valley of the
lily, LILY SWEET in the valley of the
lily!
