Unfading years draped you with grace
Like twilight tinged leaf you glowed
I floated around you on wings of dream
I thought I’d write a poem for you.
As we soaked the sheen of emerald meadow
The patina of dainty dawn you mirrored
On your face flushed by the sunburst sky
I thought I’d write a poem for you.
In my garden as the flowers withered
You blossomed with spectrum of lasting spring
My yearning flittered like beguiled butterfly
I thought I’d write a poem for you.
We’re drenched by mesmeric moonshine drizzle
The tinsels of longing rippled through me
Entranced me with enthralling rhythm
I thought I’d write a poem for you.
I sailed through the tempest of life
Couldn’t salvage the wrecked ship
As the ancient mariner didn’t reach the shore
All these poems I never wrote.

Into the potter’s field, the countdown of silver
coins, clinking out the betrayal of the potter,
who formed the traitor with his holy hands,
who let him join his circle, hear a host of words
from the mouth of “I Am.” He looked directly
into Judas’ eyes, called him friend. In the end,
Judas hung himself from a tree, over the field.

and then he himself fell
with a lasting clink -
and the Lord said, “…But woe to that man
who betrays the Son of Man! It would be
better for him if he had not been born.” *

*Matthew 26:24 NIV
Waking, I heard a lovely song.
Somehow, the music didn't belong.
Bell-like in tone, to softly please.
Perhaps was only summer's breeze.
Dreamlike music, not lasting long.
I opened blinds and there, askew
pocket-size fairies spritzing dew.
Midst them smiled a green leprechaun.
Their tiny laughter welcomed dawn--
wee pixies only rainbows knew.
Sun starts its rise and day begins.
Their music stops, their graceful spins.
Quickly, they leave in group as one.
In dawns, I search; in wind they've gone.
They filled my dreams with violins.

A breath of love lifts the butterfly
'Pon delicate wings
Where a gentle current carries
It like a reigning king
There is a breath of love that sings
Lasting tunes to the throngs
As the birds of the day and night
Chirp from where they belong
There is a breath of love that sees
All that is right and wrong
And weeps soft raindrops at the harm
That breath to heal so longs
Soon that breath of love will call down
To hurting humanity
Come in the safety of the fold
To live eternally

Kind of Poulter's Measure
Blushing roses in vibrant hues
Lilac and mauve, lemon yellow and ceruse
Beautiful whispers of light, followed by moods
Tangerine and gold, vivid blue, azure
Like the silent summer moon, shimmering
Stars, reflecting joy and warmth
Brilliant gold sunflowers, smiling
Over the hills and through the rows
Silent and soothing, searching signals
Faith promises, played like a rhythm
Melodies of love, laughing and lasting
Breathing through the oaks and pines
Woodlands, a wilderness, embracing
Hearts who reverberate the mysteries
Breathtaking lilacs, lavender hope
Enlightening, delighting, reassuring
Breaking through the dreams, the reveries
Freeing, accepting, enduring all the doubts
Reminding the shades of inspiration
To capture the love in the imagination
The attraction of wonder within a sigh
Beckoning on clouds who pass on by
Bring me the jewels of blooms, soft petals
Murmuring on the wind, truths, pleasures
Dancing gracefully, peace on the waters
Of my heart, my soul, liquid promise of a garden
Glorious and joyous – prayers of the natural world

I wish I could be a woman who moves on so quickly but unfortunately I love so deeply
I wish I could leave the minute you showed disrespect but yet I’m a loyal person
When you’re truly loyal you don’t give up so quick
I get so mad at you because you know I truly care for you
Why must you take me for granted when all I wanted was to love you and get it back from you?
I wish it didn’t take me so long to put myself first like you do
Yes I’m anger because all I wanted was to build a life with you
I never wanted a big wedding but I always wanted a long lasting marriage
I never cared for how much you spent on a ring
I care about the time, love, and respect you showed me
I wish I wasn’t that into you because maybe you’d care more
You’d value me more
I wish I didn’t have this experience with you and have the resentment I have towards you
I wish I didn’t love you so hard because if I didn’t the pain wouldn’t feel this bad
I wish I could go back and never gave you all of me because now look at me
As the soft glowing light fills the sky above, the sun scatters her rays across
the heavens blushing in hues of blue and green, with midnight accrues.
(Breathe in, hold and breathe out)
As the sun sets giving us her partial illumined glow, we begin to feel the
presence of Spirit and all that it brings. Peace, joy and abundant love.
A nautical dawn arrives after a nautical dusk, lighting up our hearts and
filling us with new hope.
(Breathe in, hold and breathe out)
The floodlights of our souls reveal a clarity that has never been seen
before. We open the door to our hearts and allow the peace of
understanding to enter into communion with us and our hearts
become vessels for God.
Vessels navigating through earth with celestial beams radiating through
our very being.
(Breathe in, hold and breathe out)
As a soft glow fills the sky twilight lands on us, like an eagle bringing
us endurance and strength, alongside a gentle and lasting soft caress.
Amen !
Surrender Me Oh' Lord, As I Sacrafice
Myself To Your Cross, Where You Once
Layed Nailed By Hands n' Feet With No
Place to Go.
I Meant To Purify My Soul, Which Now
Excludes My Sin For The Thorns Were
Worn Apon Your Head Deep In Blood
Of The Lamb.
As Day n' Night Passed You Realesed Me
From The Pain, That Haunted You I Claim
To Return Along Your Words Of Survival.
Walk With Me Down This DeadEnd Road,
And Give The Power To Carry On In Your
Name: Oh' Lord.
Here Is Where I Want To Engage To Retrieve
The Undying Love That Was Taken From Me,
By A Selfish Deed.
Where You Can Cast It Out Apon Evil distructure
Into The Pit Of Hell, I Was Forgiven And Delivered From

BOUGAINVILLEA
At entrance of my villa, marvelous bougainvillea
swings branches holding bunches of blossoms in opulence
on variance of colors as purple, pink and white
bright brilliant in gesture, hanging in clusters,
once hit by a bluster of gust lasting for hours.
Storm with showers whirled flowers fast and faster
ending in disaster causing the creeper to fall.
As rains ceased, I came at gate, being upset,
but simply enchanted to descry the beauty
of a flower bed lying on my yard.
So long to watch the hardy creeper
covering gate with blooms to glow in frolic flow
up above and sideways.
First time I was startled to disovecr the charm
of a flower bed of bougainvillea.
Gardener erected bougainvillea again to regain
its firm posture to adorn my gate gorgeous.

'STRAND No.700' By Brian Strand
Worn like the darkness, the stars
Silently reflecting the peacefulness,
The joy and wonder, the promise
Healing the past with sensitivity, gestures
Blessing the spirit…
Cloaked in light, healing
From the mystery, the memory
Glowing like the new dawn, rising
Beyond the azure, through the violet
Vibrant as the skies when they smile
Beautiful, flowing, wistful…
Tired like the passing fancy,
Who soothes then bleeds doubt,
Quieting the moon, the stars, shimmering
Glistening beneath the darkness, hope
Lasting like embers, warm
Just bright enough to say a prayer…
This is the moment when my heart broke
Became a throbbing ache, burning
Away the hopes and dreams, the faith
Feelings both lasting and pure, exposing
Brokenness that seemed beyond healing,
Shattered beyond believing….
This moment, your passing
From this life into the next life
Where I hope that You will see what it means
To listen to His glorious authority
Wiping away every doubt you might have felt,
Every worry – every transgression
With love that abides in the light – He’s forever!
