Premium Member Cradle of Thread - a Homage-

It happened when I was not noticing,
yet I was so close,
that had I not have been here,
disregarded as I was,
I would missed the weaving,
from branch to branch, a spider’s web,
meshed with the sun,
as if spinning a snowflake with silken thread.

What but design of darkness to appal?-
If design govern in a thing so small.

A net,
cradled over the leaves,
slung low over the dew.
Evidence in the spring daylight,
of a chore needing to be done,
skillfully being crafted,
trembling in the soft breeze,
as the sun fondles each delicate strand.

This is not new, or kept a secret,
but I can't help but wish,
for someone here,
to share my excitement,
and to also recognize,
the magic of the silver thread
to witness the hand of God
and a miracle in the making

Do the Minority Understand

Do the minority know?
That they are in the majority most of the time,
And in the minority for the least amount of time.

It follows that the minority will agree with the majority of issues,
For majority of the time,
And agree with the minority of the issues the least amount of time.

It also follows that if the minority wag the dogs tail,
Majority of the time,
Then democracy is the loser majority of the time.

If however the majority accepts that the minority view,
Should not be disregarded all the time,
Then democracy will work some of the time.

And if the minority accept that the majority view counts for more,
The majority of the time,
Then Democracy will work most of the time.

A Hushed Prayer

I beg for your forbearance
For I have disregarded my faith towards You
I beg for your healing in advance
For I have disclaimed Your protection and now I’m blue

Do you notice that I’m blanketed in deep distress?
My pillow is soaked externally with unsettling tears
My good memories that bestowed hopefulness
Has been meddled with for years
Has been mistreated and replaced by insecure dreadfulness
I need shelter from the tide of despairs and fears

I’m shattered and I’m seeking Your helping hand
Receive my hushed prayer…from your throne in heaven
I’m begging for Your contentment that’s beyond grand
Receive my muffled prayer… or I’ll be stuck in this tarnished den

Do you notice that I’m spinning mad in the rivers of mystifying visions?
My unwavering boat sinks drastically with damaged gears
My bad memories that departed from my missions
Has been discarding the carefree years
Has been neglected and torn apart by dishonorable decisions
I need Your love to embrace me with jubilation and cheers
I beseech for Your mercy
For I have abused my steadfast hope towards You
I look forward to Your infinite Kingdom favorably
For I have admired Your blessings and now my dreams come true!
In Jesus’s name,

AMEN!

A Surviv---or

I know how it feels to be unwanted
ignored, made fun of and at times taunted
beat up, spit on, embarrassed and disgraced
abandoned betrayed and things thrown in my face
denied, discouraged, used, then abused
So before you say a word, think twice
'Cause I have nothing left to lose !

I've been disappointed, lied too
and falsely accused
Tattled on, rattled, 'till
I was made to feel blue
disrespected, disregarded
and plan old DISSED it true
and I promise never ever to
do these things to you

I've been jaded and spaded
and without reason hated
picked-on, laughed at
despised and denied
walked on, pushed around
held in sheer contempt
made to feel alone
most every where I've went

It wasn't at all easy, to suffer all this crap
each time they beat me down
some how I made it back
So, NEVER feel alone
don't let them get to you
and don't become like them
and act the way they do
just standup tall and strong
with a smile and with grace
and tell your friends and family
"Get The Hell Out Of My Face"

Premium Member Whatever Happened To Jordan

There was once a young soul I’ll call Jordan
He was a little on the wild side, a rebellious child
Most expected he’d someday know the warden
The one he’d answer to before being reconciled

Freedom, it seems, we often take it for granted
Like Jordan, I sometimes disregarded the rules
It took some time for me to grow where I was planted
I could be stubborn and obstinate, like the mules

But, like Jordan, who became a regular light in the end
I learned to live a life of kindness, caring about hearts
Thanks to the love that I carry with me, the forever friend
Who makes a way for Jordan and me, with grace off the charts…

Jordan became a preacher, the leader of many people
He carries hope inside his soul, a hope that grows and grows
Because of that long ago bible school beneath the church steeple,
He is a light to many who live in the dark – his love always shows…

Jesus is the One friend we can carry with us through every fear
Thanks to His love, there is grace beyond what we comprehend
It is grace that takes away our sin, wipes away every single tear
Reveals joy from believing in Him, the One who did ascend

I MISS

I MISS

I miss the hurly burly of the business world
All that backstabbing and the political tricks
And all the ignorance that always surprised
As blustering and hesitation, often disguised
They were easy ways to wriggle out of a fix
As all around them, incompetence swirled

A capacity to listen, one might have thought
Being so pointless going through the motions
Regret for all those disregarded opportunities
Chinese walls between the social communities
Not just rivulets of division, more like oceans
Blind to innovation, just sticking to the report

There were probably just a few days of bliss
The moments when I got the world to rhyme
All around me was a curtain of mere timidity
After years of trying to change such stupidity
Retirement finally arrived in the nick of time
Sorry, I lied, as there is nothing that I’ll miss

Once a Nation Unmatched

Let's address the elephant in the room
A coward in power who could care less if we're doomed
A man of trust, more like a man of disgust
Who decided to give this liar a crown & push him to higher grounds, man enough is enough it's time we take a stand & call this man on his bluff
Our so called Idol is idle, full of shame & denial
Disregarded the poor then started a war saying it's for our survival which we know is a lie though because in reality we know he's just trying to hide his name which is tied to these claims that his bestie Jeffrey Epstein maintained in his files
The man's a creep let's face it, we can start with the basics Like him being a full blown racist full of hatred
Or the fact he's a man with no plan, out of touch with reality, lost deep in the matrix
On top of all that now there's leaks he's a rapist
Now he can't sleep at night, he hates it & refuses to face it
But let him tell it he claims they are jealous & it's nothing more than tasteless statements that are baseless
True to his sin, purely off bluffing he clearly started a war for nothing & us the people will suffer for that
Once again due to his actions & his lust for evil even he knows he's got to cover his tracks
Senses our dissatisfaction because we all know he's lying so again he supplies us another distraction in hopes it will cover his a-s-s before they uncover the facts
Figures if he can hide the proof then how can they provide the truth if within the files they choose to release they do it piece by piece, buying time to hide the crimes, only giving us the redactions with all original facts smothered in black
Just more lies & once again we're caught up in another one of his traps, a lapse in judgement followed by a sudden collapse but they say it's nothing relax
Of course I could do nothing & stand back like the others who are under his wrath & act like I understand this hate that he's hatched
But in doing the math the numbers don't match
We were once a land feared making other nations stand clear, believe it or not once upon a time we were a nation unmatched.

The Cry of An Unattended Addict

My scaled lips have a story, repelling
enough to well up tears in the telling.
My heart is rocked at its place of dwelling
Expect not a merry word from a face unsmiling

Toppling of troughs in the shrine brought anguish
Suffocating under unhappiness and darkness
Of disregarded rites, now gods are come to punish
A mortal with sandy throat devoid of life freshness
Cup of my diet since I joined the beings of earth
Like a lamb, was pushed in to a manger of boiling barrel
and inhaled the yellow of all that was not life but death
that early I embraced the cup of bev that was sterile
advocates say my kin suffered a deal, anytime I cut a drink
abdicated duties, has my scions grafted abroad, pollen
a field has sprouted at my feet, kingdom on the brink
Smoking barrels here come to dry a sullen wet woolen

The city throbs in my forehead but I hear it not
My spine thinner than ever from the trembling
Of week long dearth of my cherished cup
Lodging in the loo timing the next bowel move
twitching jawbone gives yet a crisp performance
Coming in tune with the abdominal rumble
I cough and serve nothing to the white bowl
Because all I ever had was a sterile drink
Ten days gone.

Reality

Reality

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust
Death will come to all of us
Bottled ashes or six feet underground
Thoughts are empty; we utter no sound
Here today, maybe gone tomorrow
Feeling lost, saddened with sorrow
The body forms at birth and, in the end, turns to dust
The death you see is a terminal must
From birth, we begin our aging path
Just how long will we live? Time moves fast
Do you ever think of death in a severe way
No one knows night or day
Can you imagine a time without you
The grim reaper comes regardless of who
Childhood friends are a growing list
Saddened by the names already missed
Death a disregarded thought in time
Buried deep inside your mind
Some leave early, while others late
The man above picks the date
Life is so short and quick to pass
Our time clock moves way too fast
Smile and love life and enjoy each day
Forgive and forget, hold anger at bay
Treat your friends with love and kindness
Time with them is far from timeless
Always keep this thought in mind
You'll never outlast the word called TIME.
