Two certificates
The first certificate that you will receive in life is a birth certificate. This certificate is to prove who you are a time to celebrate new beginnings and the start of your life journey a head.
The second certificate you may receive in life maybe a religious one from your baptism
to a christening or even a name ceremony.
The third certificate you may receive is one of a achievement for your education and the qualifications you have achieved throughout your time during school for your path of life’s journey.
The fourth certificate you may receive in life is a marriage certificate, but not everyone will receive this one. To some the idea of marriage is not of importance, to some people they choose not to marriage as they have been chosen to follow a vocation in life in a religious way,
to Some people don’t generally believe in marriage full stop.
The fifth certificate you may receive is a birth certificate if you have been gifted with a child.
This is truly a blessing and one to be treasured.
The sixth certificate you may receive could be divorce the end or the start of something new.
The seventh certificate that you will receive but not officially is a death certificate.
The end to your life and your existence, meaning everything has stopped,
your body battery has ended and done it’s time.
Why is it that a certificate means achievement, a status of who and what you were.
Everything in life is on paper, from the start to the end.
So when your loved ones receive your death certificate and start to arrange your funeral which is a sad time, were families make rash decisions and they fall out with each other over money, material things and personal belongings from the loved ones whom have just passed.
Remember the first 3 words of funeral are FUN so this is time to celebrate and remember them.
F: fond memories to share and laugh about
U: unique & unforgettable memories to share
N: never forget to live, life is to short.
Don’t feel guilty that your life is carrying on.
In life there are a lot more certificates you can achieve than the ones listed above.
But remember in this world we are all the same, no matter what colour you are, what religion you believe in, what sex you are, how rich or poor you are,
we all will have them 2 certificates in common and
that’s Life and Death.

Down many of the coalmines in Yorkshire , Safety dictated that an alternative means of escape
had to be found just in case anything ever happened to the shafts that raised and lowered miners to their work.
This usually involved keeping a single route open underground to the next nearest colliery .
Old George waiting by the mineshaft
Spitting his chewing tobacco juice
Today with his apprentice
They must survey the mines escape route .
1000 yards underground
In darkness as black as pitch
They reach up to their helmets
Turning on the headlamp switch.
George prodding at the timbers
That support the roof and sides
His apprentice grows more nervous
With every single stride .
A mile down the escape route
The roof is seven feet high
They see a little fallen rock
but manage to squeeze by .
The roof is getting lower
George hears the scurrying of mice
Brought down the mine in bales of hay
When pit ponies and the miners destiny were spliced.
The apprentice is visibly shaking
but only one more mile to go
When a piece of falling timber
Dealt his torch battery a glancing blow.
George could see the boys panic
and as the leader of his team
He reassured his apprentice
Then they shared the single beam .
Suddenly they hear a crack like thunder
Then the splintering of wood
George pushes his apprentice
but a fall of rock stands where George stood.
Young boy on his hands and knee's
Screaming Georges name
More terrified by the second
When no answers came.
Now in total blackness
He inhabits the world of the blind
If he is to help his leader
The boy must use his senses and his mind .
The faintest hint of breezes
He feels on his face
Air sucked down the mineshaft
Just might be his saving grace
He crawls along the jagged floor
Using his sense of touch
Soon in the distance he hears machinery
A sound he has never loved so much .
He tastes the ever freshening air
Hope inside him grows
Then the tiniest speck of flickering light
His tears overflow.
Help, Help, he's calling
As the miners come into view
Two men want to hep him to the surface
Burt he awaits his friends rescue.
Old George didn't make it
He sacrificed himself to save the boy
Broken hearted the boy had a breakdown
and had to leave the mines employ.
The boy became a father
Then a wonderful granddad
but he never tired of telling the story
of the best friend he ever had.
The shifting of many corporeal hands move across this dead cell,
A vacuums vortex, a psychic sponge, charging this battery of
Energy called the spirit board.
Paranormal phenomenon striking plate to enter realities plane
Of existence, for the ethereal challenged in crisis, seeking the
Threshold for spontaneous release, unto our spiritual realm.
Witchery’s board of trickery left in a polarized stance it
So entices the living with its tempting whispering of lies,
Incantations gate keepers wait on the other side of evils
Door way.
Memorizing the human sensory functions into a false
Sense of harmless mystery of the unexplained, it lures
These victims ever closer to weaving its spell of the demonic.
These capture being lost unto the hypnotic effects are
Transfixed unable to hit their override switch that controls
Their mental powers of persuasion, disabled is there strength
Of will power, they belong to the Ouija now.
Clasping do all for sides of the curtain of reality, times
Displacement begins in earnest, without hesitations
Momentary loll this dead cell bursts to life.
Black magic key has been inserted within the wooden
Door way’s heart and soul, a bizarre power bank draws
Forth the energy of the spiritual lost, swinging hells
Kept wide open.
The pancetta spins out of control, smashing against
The barriers of humanity, darkened ebony light shines
Through this doorway of evil and the flickering candle
Turns to a shades greenish blue wavering in the odious
Breeze.
The voice of a thousand screams echo in sheer delight,
We have been freed at last, broken is the trance, the boards
Hypnotic effects are dashed by the light of the dawn.
Dazed in bewilderment the voyeurs are chilled to their
Very inward bones, shaking, staring in awes amazement,
Wondering if these events really happened at all.
Then within these tented walls a voice responds to their
Questioning, laughing, as if a jackal at a fresh kill site!
Foolish mortals you know not what you have done, this
Night, but I promise thee this, laughing once again,
In a demonic under tone, none shall leave this domicile
Alive.
The entry doors lock without the human touch, the
Curtain windows pull closed, a momentary stilled
Scream, then all is silent, what remains is left up
To my readers to visualize, as the final candle
Blows out!

Each year we drive to the south of Spain to soak up the sun's warm rays
But we like to maintain a leisurely pace, so it takes us two full days
Which means we stay at Hotel-and-Go, that sadly has one minor flaw
It's hidden away and finding the place each year is a bit of a chore
So this time I went into Google maps and zoomed in to the nth degree
The coordinates set, I was happy to let the sat nav find it for me
"You have reached your destination" the confident voice rang out
"No we flippin’ haven't" I cried "We're in the middle of a roundabout"
Ahead in the dark was a restaurant, so I went in to seek their advice
As to where the hotel was located, the directions were very precise
Turn to the left then left again then follow the road to the right
Go under a bridge, cross two roundabouts and the hotel will come into sight
We turned to the left, then left again and the road became a dirt track
We skidded and squealed with mud on the wheels with no way to reverse or turn back
We reached the hotel tired and irate, vowing never to come back again
I brought up the suitcase then a buzzing began, which was going to drive us insane
The noise came out of a grill, and although to heights I’m averse
I climbed on a chair and took it apart and succeeded in making it worse
The receptionist had nowhere to move us, but I wasn’t prepared to back down
So, fair play to her, she came up to the room to confront the irritant sound
"I'll find you another room", she said "You can’t stay in here tonight"
And so in the end she became my best friend, I could hardly contain my delight
I collected my kit and caboodle, pulled the case away from the wall
And the room immediately fell silent, not a trace of the buzzing at all
The noise had come out from the suitcase, hard to believe but true
My battery shaver had turned itself on and the sound was vibrating through
It was amplified by the hollow stud wall to emerge from the grill overhead
So the cause of the noise I had misdiagnosed creating confusion instead
I went down to the desk at reception to confess to the girl my ‘faux pas’
"Guess what, you’ll never believe it, the buzzing stopped, I know its bizarre”
So these days I’ll choose a hotel, that’s easy to find and what's more
I take out the batteries from every device and lay the case on the floor
This is a story poem. I call, ALL FOR THE LOVE OF BETSY
ILL start this little story by asking a question, what is love?
They say there is all kinds of love.
This story is about a new kind of love.
I had two loves my girlfriend and I was in love with my car.
Now you might say that is strange to be in love with a car.
It is not me that is strange being in love with a car.
What is strange,is the strange behavior of the car.
Now I got you confuse, or you think IM just plain crazy.
Well my story really begins when my grandfather gave me 1955 OLDSMOBILE.
I was so proud of the car,I even gave her a name.I called her BETSY.
She was two tone yellow and black, she was a beauty.
I wash and waxs BETSY everyday.
I even carved a heart on BETSY dashboard.
I wrote in the heart,ALL FOR THE LOVE OF BETSY
About the time I had BETSY,I met my future wife BARBARA.
She also was a beauty.
This is where my little story starts to get strange.
TRUE BUT STRANGE.
BETSY seem to take on a life of her very own
When I was alone with betsy, she run like a jewel.
When BARBARA was riding in BETSY.
BETSY would run like a mule.
One night I had four flat tires.
Another night BETSY loss all her power.
I thought the cable on BETSY battery came loose.
NOTHING WAS LOOSE.
Whenever I played the radio it came in nice and clear.
Whenever BARBARA played the radio nothing came on but static.
The strangest part of the story when BARB and I was on a pinic.
We were sitting under a willow tree.
I carved a heart on the bark of the willow tree.
Inside the heart I wrote,ALL FOR THE LOVE OF BARBARA.
Just I like I in the heart I carved on BETSY dashboard,
ALL FOR THE LOVE OF BETSY
BETSY was parked on an enbankment.
We were sitting under the willow tree below the enbankment.
Some how BETSY hand break came loose
and BETSY started to roll down the enbankment.
BETSY crashed into the willow tree and scapeof the heart on the bark of the tree
where I wrote ALL FOR THE LOVE OF BARBARA.
BETSY burst into flames and was gutted out.
All except where I carved the heart on BETSY dashboard,
that I wrote ALL FOR THE LOVE OF BETSY.
BARBARA and I got married,
but as for BETSY,I never had a car quite like her again.
I dont know if you believe my story or think IM strange.
But do you want to know what is really strange,
LOVE IS STRANGE
Down I go.
On the paths of sheol again.
The rewards of death; my hands regain.
The wheels of the plow of righteousness; i forgot to maintain.
Being led into the desert,
I stagger like one under the influence.
All the while blinded by momentary pleasures.
A walk through the arid land with cold lifeless walls as my compass.
*Surely I have lost it*
These words my mind kept a fix on.
Regurgitating it while the devil's counsel slowly seeped in.
A 'sound advice', like Job's wife, the devil gave.
Urging me to totally quit.
A sweet ballad he played into my ears.
Telling me to embrace hedonism as my new religion.
For I would surely fail in living a perfect life.
He gave me examples.
Yes.
*Your righteousness is as s filthy rag before God*
The accuser of the brethren quoted this scripture for me.
I countered.
Reminding him that self righteousness accounted as sin before God.
Telling him of the uptmost essence of the Jesus's death and grace in salvation.
"No one is perfect"
These words the devil said in retort.
Quoting a popular quip which gave leeway for people to sin.
In despair,
I tried to counter.
For my Christian walk was filled with inconsistent up and down moments.
Like a touchlight with a failing battery,
The light of Christ within me flickered.
HE then came back.
Like a sharp clack amidst deep silence,
I heard His words.
That piercing word of life that erupted joyful tears in me.
For I was a washed out version of my former self.
*My grace is sufficient for you.*
*You have an advocate before the father who pleads your case.*
These words Jesus spoke to me in reply to the devil's condemnation.
*Look unto Jesus the author and finisher of your faith...*
This charge He gave me to cleanse me of all adulteration.
*There is therefore now no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus*
This fact He quoted to free me from all allegations.
*Seek ye first the kingdom of God and its righteousness...*
These words He gave to guide my future aspirations.
Once more I cling to the cross.
An abandonment of my fling with death.
A willing stone in the sling of Christ Jesus.
Ready to earn new trophies to bring to His feet.
Laying them down as He calls me a king too, being a joint heir with Jesus.

This old car written by a parky ,
I have a friend Denitia
A lovely lady she is
I rang her up one morning
To see if she was in
We decided to have some fun
In an old reck of a car
So off we went
With tools in hand to find this old car.
This car was for the crusher
It had no seats or wheels
But we put our heads together
And started to build
We worked on this old car all day
And found some good old wheels
We sorted out the puncher
And polished up the steel
They all come up such a treat
All sparkling with a gleam
And then when we looked with in the car
There was no seats to be seen
So of we went to have a fined
And there to our amaze
Was an old pink push chair
That will do as a seat
We needed a front seat
So that we could drive
She put it in excitedly
And decided she would drive
We realised it need a battery
And found one on the ground,
We checked it out
and to our surprise
It started up the car
We both jumped in, And of we went
Not knowing we're to go
And this old car went chugging along
And never let us down
The radio was blaring
The music so much fun
We sang along in rhythm
To the 70 s songs
We followed along the rd
And vagus did we find
It was all lit up and all aglow
With beautiful fairy lights
We parked the car,And wondered around
We had so much fun that night
There were saloons and bars
And dancing to ,all through the night
We had so much fun,We wanted to stop
But had to get on our way
We wondered back to the car
But we had lost our way
We both could not remember ,
were we parked the car
This poor old cars gone missing
It's a jaguar
It's blue and brown ,
it has got lots of rust
And has a beautiful pink drivers seat,
It sing all the songs that you can sing
All from the 70s
So if you find a car , that's blue and brown
And lots of rust you see
And that it's a jaguar
That sing along to the 70s
Please look after this old car
It's to good to be crushed
It won't never let you down
Even though it's full of rust
But we have never found it
It's gone from our minds
We just hope that one day
We will hear it coming by
We listen out for the 70s
The songs we so enjoyed
And prohaps one day we will remember
We're we left the car
Sue gage
Listen up, my daughters, let me break it down
Life's a stage, but you're not here to clown
You've got to face the music, face it strong
Face your fears, show the world where you belong
Don't let them clip your wings, wings are meant to soar
Winging it sometimes, that's what life is for
But root yourself in values, roots run deep
Rooting out the nonsense, that's wisdom to keep
Stand your ground, ground yourself in truth
Grounding your decisions, from age to youth
Rise above the noise, rise like the sun
Rising to occasions, that's how battles are won
Weather the storm, weather it with grace
Weathering criticism with a poker face
Steel your nerves, steel them like a blade
Steeling yourself for the choices to be made
Bridge the gaps, bridge them with your mind
Bridging understanding, leaving doubt behind
Scale the heights, scale them bit by bit
Scaling back expectations that don't fit
Balance your life, balance work and play
Balancing act, that's the price to pay
Weigh your options, weigh them carefully
Weighing in on issues, speak out clearly
Brave the odds, brave them with a smile
Braving new frontiers, go the extra mile
Charge ahead, charge your inner battery
Charging through obstacles, set your spirit free
Light your path, light it with your dreams
Lighting up the darkness, nothing's as it seems
Fuel your passions, fuel them day and night
Fuelling your ambitions, keep your goals in sight
Don't be too rigid, rigid minds will break
Rigid rules are meant for you to shake
Be flexible, flexible like a reed
Flexing your strength, that's what you'll need
Channel your emotions, channel them right
Channeling energy into your fight
But don't let them flood, flood your rationality
Flooding your judgment leads to fatality
Remember, my daughters, life's a complex game
Gaming the system isn't the aim
Aim for integrity, aim for what's true
Aiming high, that's what you should do
So face the world, face it head-on
Facing challenges, that's how you'll grow strong
The ball's in your court, court success with zeal
Courting life's adventures, that's the real deal
Now go forth, my daughters, write your story
Story of courage, rationale, and glory
Storying your journey with each passing day
Journeying forward in your unique way
