You Don'T Know What To Think

June 4, 2012

You don’t know what to think
When you just sit there like cold stone
Avoiding everyone, so alone
Years gone so fast…stomach churning
Looking back on all those days…always yearning

You don’t know what to think
When everyone around you has decided
Watching them glaze over your talents you have blinded
You feel so free and yet so not
Left to your thoughts…left to rot

You don’t know what to think
Broken up in pieces, a puzzle piece bent
Never fitting in, time never well spent
Warm water dripping from your eyes
A silent desperation that never dies

You don’t know what to think
After all is said and done
You are still the only one
Who is staring out in blank space
Still trying to find a place

You don’t know what to think
It’s like a record repeating in your brain
Releasing stinging rains of pain
Words like darts, he stays
Lingering near, he says,

“You don’t know what to think”
YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT TO THINK

But you know what to write

We Are All the Same

it's a subject that has been long debated
that all of humanity is genetically related
evolution versus creation
is it all speculation?

many think that mankind developed through evolution
while others think that God's creation is the solution
but why is it so hard for people to understand
that evolution is creation, it's God's master plan

God made this universe in 7 days, so it states in the Holy text
but God's time is not our time and He does not wear a Rolex
they talk about the Big Bang Theory that brought about all this change
but what if that was God's hand clap for all that He arranged

genetically and physiologically every person is the same
for DNA does not lie, it's a fact that's simple and plain
we are all brothers and sisters created by the same hand
all children of the most high God for that was His plan

we may be different shades of colors and speak in different tongues
but underneath the skin we are all the same after all is said and done

I feel so close to him,
Like nothing on earth could compare…
To the joy, hope, faith and peace I’ve found with him,
Always sharing and believing and dreaming,
So alive and fulfilled and with no need for anything…
Only the love that we have found within our hearts,
So alive and warm and welcoming, filled with hope.

I feel so close to him,
In so many ways I’ve never dreamed…
Feelings keep me yearning for a second chance,
Another moment to spend just seeking solace…
Fulfillment with the one that holds the key to my heart,
The one who makes me laugh and fills my thoughts…
With a sense of purpose and renewal and inspiration.

I feel so close to him,
Love that feels this real is alive within…
A miracle from heaven that God sends to us all,
Like a light of joy that abides with our shared thoughts,
Mysteries from the heart that remind us why we’re here,
To give and to love with all that we have within…
Loving is the only thing that makes life worthwhile.

Loving, after all is said and done, is the only part of life…
That assures the heart we’ve become the ones…
God sent us here to become,
Hearts who love!

Fruit Fly, Cockroach, Random Lie

Fruit fly, cockroach, random lie, here we go eternity sis-boom... bye.

Dust to dust, ashes to ashes, just like that, I am gone, after living out, like water up the spout it's all days gone bye.
Like a riddle, It's long, it's short, it goes by quick, after all, is said and done we don't really give a lick.

Chased the dream until I screamed, some attained, some elusive but at a price that is utterly too abusive.

Fruit fly, cockroach, random lie, here we go eternity sis-boom... sigh.
We just leave as we should because it's time, time for God's next trick. Rich man, poor man it don't matter none we have had our fill and our fun.

Next man up, fasten your seatbelt it's quite the ride, don't want to fall until it's your time to die........

Fruit fly, cockroach, random lie, here we go eternity... my oh my!

Everything true was just mere lies, some more, some less but lies nonetheless, deceived, distressed, completely undressed.

What to think, what to say, when all of one's beliefs are taken away, press pause? restart? reboot you say? It's all a bit late, it's all rather moot, wouldn't you say?

It's all very odd to begin the decline when everything seems strangely fine? It all weighs so heavily though on your mind.

Best not to think, just do! try to win each day as it's all anew. It's good, it's bad, it's happy, it's sad, my son calls me dad so I'm not feeling mad, just happy to be and, not, not be and to be as long as I possibly can be. Is that the answer? maybe? we'll see.......

Fruit fly, cockroach, random lie, here we go eternity... Please don't cry

For we die each night, Born again every day, take it or leave it, it's better that way. Take it!, take it, I say, try to make it just one more day, what more can one possibly say, but be thankful for just one more precious day.

Like the common fruit fly and cockroach, our life span is but a blink of an eye before we die, just minutes off the cosmic clock of which we have no apparent key to its eternal lock

Glorious cats of the Sun
They strive to be number one
They live for recognition
To be the best by definition

The most generous of them all
No favor is too big or small
They’re loyal to their tribe
Their love’s hard to describe

They love their mane
They can’t be tamed
Big hearts of gold
They’re regal and bold

Even in the night
They’re in the spotlight
Flattery makes these kitties purr
They love compliments for sure

One thing that you can’t ignore
Is when you hear these lions roar
They’ll charm you like never before
They’ll have you melting on the floor

These felines already won
After all is said and done
These are the cats of the sun
They’re most loved by everyone

The Apology

And yes, Joan, was there a time I said there could be a tomorrow?
And when did I say our love would last forever?
Want the moon? It’s yours! The sun? You can have it!
Only that I would be a joker fulfilling a role that doesn’t suit me;
I am what I am. Loving life is wonderful.

Please don’t look at me as if I were some cruel beast,
Scheming and stalking prey for the feast.
We never seem to agree; our wants and needs are different.
For what it’s worth, I’m sorry if I misled you into believing
We were sharing. I wasn’t taking advantage of the situation.

I am caring, but I was naïve and too immature to take that leap.
I couldn’t feel your feelings. Your look was casual,
Without expression, and now I see the hurt in your eyes.
No wonder you despise me: the loathing, the hate,
And I am ashamed for being so mean

And treating you carelessly, without remorse.
There were memories, Joan, intimate and personal,
That I will cherish, and I did make you smile.
And now, after all is said and done, the distance grown,
I apologize.

Rainbow

After All Is Said And Done, I'm a Rainbow;
A Persistent Rainbow That Is Visible In All Lighting Conditions;
Unique In Both Body & Soul From Everyone Else;
I Have a Soul Made Of Gold & a Soul Made Of Rainbow.

I've Always Felt Like An Alien With No Identity;
No Desire For Glory, & Only Wisdom Gained Through Suffering.

When I Think Back On Those Memories;
I Feel As Though My Emotions Have Been Repeatedly Used As Props In a Cruel & Twisted Game;
Almost Driving Me To The Brink Of Insanity.

I Feel As If There Is No Point In Love Anymore;
Because I Am Being Pursued By Myself;
&
Am Alone In a Dark & Lonely Hallway.

I Must Continue To Act As Though My Life Is Anything But Gray.

Hurricane of Hope

Death is a whisper
Like a dog’s whimper
Joy awakens in our head
Happiness needs to be expanded instead, instead

Death is a whisper
Life is but a blur, but a blur
Joy awakens in our head
Cheerfulness wants to make our feet feel like lead

Dedication to the desires of my heart
Dreaming of you is good from the start
Do what you wish - inspire many
Pray away anguish - grow on like a tuilip, so pretty

Hurricane of hope
Rummages through my bewildered, yet blessed brain
I can’t cope, cope
With this rain, so refrain from driving me insane

I can’t deal with this pandemic alone...do what you wish, what you wish
Let’s satisfy we together...
I, alone, have felt your tone of voice - so mean-spirited and selfish
Things here will get better...

I’m sensitive to your energy..
I don’t like it honestly...
Just let me go....
I don’t belong here
I don’t belong here
I belong in another’s home
But not my own

But, there’s a hurricane of hope
That swept over me, so I can cope
With my conditions...
With my decisions...
With my missions...
With my ambitions...

You’re stubborn and you know it
But, I’m God’s child after all is said and done, said and done
You’re so full of it, so full of get
I give you my family love and you just wanted to have some fun

Eventually, my generation will embrace
The hurricane of hope with a tranquil trace

Premium Member Christmas Eve Night

Twas the night before CHRISTMAS; so soon, and then Christmas will PASS.
We trust we've accomplished our every TASK because we thrive to make memories that LAST. Thanksgiving Day is filled with food and more FOOD. Christmas Eve comes with 'Gumbo' that's really GOOD.

The night before Christmas, 'Gumbo' is our small meal with a family BLAST. And later on, after all is said and done, we take out all the gift wrapping TRASH, straighten up the house, put away left-overs, wash the DISHES, and make sure everyone receives plenty of Christmas KISSES.

You see, we like to celebrate with family on Christmas EVE; and on Christmas Day, our home is all still and at EASE. Just the two of us, my wife and I have a quiet day of RELAXING and spend the day CONNECTING with family by way of phone CALLING.

This tradition we have come to love on a cold winter's NIGHT.
It's the smiles, never forgetting the Christ Child, and the lights shining
so very BRIGHT. All this is made possible via 'The Night Before Christmas'
when EVERYONE receives their various gifts and some a little cash before the night is DONE.

Here Upon a Silent Wind

Here upon a silent wind

Here upon a silent wind,
a longing it does fall
As fated feelings float the breeze
in answers soon to call

Of what I am imagining,
the truth shall somehow be
If after all is said and done
your love remains with me

My thoughts they paint the shadows
in a smile I now wear
With each delivered promise made
within your heart to share

So come inside my waiting arms,
 a perfect night is here
For this shall be my only need
to have you always near

These dreams are for believers
every eye that peers the sky
Gazing to this velvet night
of moon beams soaring high

Casting forth decisions of
a wisdom ever true
To whisper on this silent wind
and say that I love you

Good night Soupers
