Christmas Eve Night

Twas the night before CHRISTMAS; so soon, and then Christmas will PASS. We trust we've accomplished our every TASK because we thrive to make memories that LAST. Thanksgiving Day is filled with food and more FOOD. Christmas Eve comes with 'Gumbo' that's really GOOD. The night before Christmas, 'Gumbo' is our small meal with a family BLAST. And later on, after all is said and done, we take out all the gift wrapping TRASH, straighten up the house, put away left-overs, wash the DISHES, and make sure everyone receives plenty of Christmas KISSES. You see, we like to celebrate with family on Christmas EVE; and on Christmas Day, our home is all still and at EASE. Just the two of us, my wife and I have a quiet day of RELAXING and spend the day CONNECTING with family by way of phone CALLING. This tradition we have come to love on a cold winter's NIGHT. It's the smiles, never forgetting the Christ Child, and the lights shining so very BRIGHT.
