**Depression Tendency**

How is it that I miss you?
I can't stop these hallucinations,
That I'm nothing without you!

At times, I wonder how you've been?
Still I struggle to find ways to let you back in!
You left and took the depressive mood with you
Now how could you leave me with this fake attitude?
How I long for solitary, that comes with endless solitude
Somehow my body hunger for the emptiness of devil's food.

LIFE! Is still an energy, I must waste~
The improvement of nothing came with no after taste
I thought I found the perfect prescription,
"TO MY BROKEN DOWNSTATE!"
Instead, I noticed the world I don't want to face.

The day I released you from my life,
I smiled to see my first sunrise.
I thought that happiness would bring beautiful sunsets.
Instead, they led me into feelings of more regret.
The void of YOU came with potential side effects.
Laundering around naked without my cloak of depression complex.
Life never found a way to regulate the balance of certain chemicals,
that lay deep in the bowels of my brain.
Here I stand expressing the best bipolar depression in every way.
Now my sleeping disorder has gone away.
I don't want these symptoms of being sane every day.

I need that dramatic change in my appetite,
I miss the way food had no delight.
I'm tired of all this excessive energy.
I don't want the pleasure of reality.
I want the feelings of hopelessness, with no forgiveness.
I want the feelings of worthlessness, helplessness, and self-hate.
I wanna feel the agitation when I found it difficult to concentrate.
I want the thoughts of slow death in a fetal position state.
I need to intrigue myself without sleep or dreaming.
With the concept that nothing in life is worth redeeming.
Becoming barricaded ~ keeping myself withdrawn.
With my natural born depression tendencies'

From Potential To Greatness

Potential is untapped power, not defined solely by past performance,
Potential is a latent ability, not useful until put to purposeful action,
Potential is a hidden capacity, not just a measure of immediate success,
Potential is unrealized aptitude, not limited by circumstances.

Potential is a dormant talent, not realized without effort,
Potential is undiscovered strength, not the previous achievement,
Potential is undeveloped skill, not solely determined by genetics,
Potential is the yet-to-be-harnessed reservoir, not useless, but remains so unless utilized.

Potential is a thirst for learning, not stagnant or unchanging,
Potential is the belief in progress, not bound by past limitations,
Potential is a mindset of improvement, not inhibited by fear of failure or self-doubt.
Potential is self-awareness and belief, not constrained by external opinions or societal expectations.

Potential is unexplored opportunity, not fully known until it is tested,
Potential is a seed of possibility, a gateway to greatness not yet fully explored,
Potential is getting out of your comfort zone, not only this but giving your best,
Potential is the YOU that is YET TO BE SEEN, so WHAT in you is yet to be seen, and WHEN?

Quietly he goes about assessing situations,
Searching for the weakest link,
The source of consternation;

Seeking out the places where you need to make improvement.
He'll be your guide, a rudder,
The source of your inducement.

Evaluating habits, of each one he takes note,
Caring not how you must feel,
Or of the ire evoked.

Improving others character is his goal in life,
Teaching and chastising,
His family, friiends and wife.

Of singular importance, his opinion of the world.
It does no good to disagree,
Or dodge invectives hurled,

At all who wish to argue point, dispute he will not suffer,
From any who would self-appoint,
Themselves to be a buffer,

Twixt a man who wishes naught but good upon the world;
To bestow upon us all,
His precious wisdom's pearls.

He points out how it should be and what you're doing wrong,
Elaborating on each fault,
It's like a kind of song.

He'll sing it to the very end, though end I've never heard.
When you explode and tell him off,
He thinks you quite absurd.

It's hard to be above it all, you feel so all alone.
They say good looks are but skin deep,
But Dumb Goes To The Bone.

                                                    Judy Ball

Thinking it's up to you to point out everyone's faults or what's wrong with the world today is going to drive people in the other direction when they see you coming.

March 14 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Joshua 16-18

Key Verse– Joshua 17:14 And the children of Joseph spake unto Joshua, saying, Why hast thou given me [but] one lot and one portion to inherit, seeing I [am] a great people, forasmuch as the LORD hath blessed me hitherto?

PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO BLESSES US

Praise be to God for blessing us as we:
Love Him with devotion
Labour for Him with diligence
Live for Him with dedication
Learn from Him with discernment
Lean on Him with determination

Joshua 16:4 Praise be to the Lord for
His given inheritance that is:
Precious midst waters’ provisions
Priceless midst wilderness’ pests
Pure against wickedness’ perversions
Perfect by His Word’s protection
Profitable through His ways’ preservation

Joshua 18:3 Praise be to the Saviour Who is admonishing
us not to be slack in possessing our blessings by:
Remaining in our selfishness
Retiring in our self-sufficiency
Resting in our self-righteousness
Relying on our self-improvement
Rejuvenating in our self-confidence
Retreating in our self-pity
Rejoicing in our self-esteem. Amen!

Premium Member A ''small'' Improvement

Equal pay for all they’ll abort
It’s the mantra of our Supreme Court
Now some have health care
Marry off any pair
But keeping us poor is their sport

Author's note: To be fair, the "Affordable Care Act" does (through subsidy) re-distribute some wealth. That is why certain politicians hate it! BTW, it's great for the insurance companies and is not the way real health care should be set up. It is, however, an improvement over what we had before. In a similar vein, extending rights to gay people (which is a good thing) also may help them economically. So, a small but important victory has occurred.

n the grand scheme of things, the inequality that pervades our society is getting worse. The politicians say that we have to allow everyone to have expectations and opportunity for improvement. When I hear that statement, I think of trickle down economics. How can it be anything else when big money owns politics?

Premium Member Integrity's Promise

If I may suggest
a possible improvement
in mystic teachings
about healthy meditation experience,
structure,
discipline,
neurological
and psychological
and, in more advanced classes,
sociological consciousness
polycultural sentience
and political correctness

I would compassionately ask
if we have not spilled
rather too much word-filled ink
attending to cognitive awareness
and not enough
on affective
contextual
interdependently felt intelligence

Distinguishing subtle nuances
ambiguity
everyday mundane in-between nest
of empowering anticipation
(not merely win+win enlightened awareness)
and disempowering darker anxiety

Not just win v lose strategic
spiritual Me v unnatural Not-We
caste preservation consciousness.

GMO

Before technology became widespread
Different ideas every person shed
Experiments were done, executed, conducted
Various discoveries from them resulted

Scientists were known for their countless contributions
Their unending research created new revelations
Genetically modified organisms for instance
Where food, plants or animals they tried to enhance

A sample of this is a modified tomato
The Flavr Savr as we commonly know
It was the first created GMO
Where ripening was made long and slow

Tomatoes are not the only food that's modified
But crops from the farms that they tested and tried
Golden Rice, Bt corn, papaya and potatoes
All rich in vitamins, including the tomato

Plants weren't exempted from this vast improvement
StarLink ang Weathergard they managed to invent
They can adapt to their surroundings' condition
In terms of resistance to temperature depletion

40 Days

40 Days
by LC

Sin is inside.
And inside… isn’t what it used to be.

I used to keep a fig leaf at the ready.
But one day, I ran out.
And nothing changed.
Weird.

Binary yielding too many zeroes.
Typical ritual. No improvement.
The pastor might have the virus.

Let’s play a game: Metaphor or Meta?
My saliva turned blue, and then black
If I never had a fig leaf, I would’ve confronted sin.
If I never ate the apple,
I might never again be confronted with temptation.

Crafted by external serpents,
Little wave-like functions,
Mimicking oscillation.

They echo in our decisions.
And decisions…
They quietly are the foundation of the Tree of Life.
But we forget what they’re echoing.
And the echo becomes a virus.
It calls itself… the narrator.

Forty days.
Visceral.

No sound.
No light.
No serpents.
No parasites.

Just the heart, and the mind.

When we dive in darkness,
The light gains sharpness

We begin the battle
Shadows Matching internal IQ
Light doesn’t cast shadows on light

Reality was a coin toss.

The manifested serpent,
Devoid of disguise,
Stood between me and the last light in the room.

As if to say:
“You gave me nothing to feed on.
But I still want you to notice me.”

Like—
Just because I don’t see you
Doesn’t make you scary.
You were a part of me
You only exist as a shadow,
but I can still hear you crying

We stood side by side.
Until I walked away.

I sat in its lap, its grasp
I let doubt consume me
I thought it might kill me.

I turned to dust.

I learned that doubt…
Takes the form of the virus called narrator.

And with that doubt,
We scatter fragments of the real me about.

But I took responsibility.
Tried to restart the universe.

Forty days
And I came out the other end asking:

“This was crazy,
But if it gives me any credibility…”

Where is the moon?

My Friend ,Jim Horn

My friend Jim Horn.

Who is he really?
He is a friend to many
He has a heart of gold
who cares about you and me.'
He is a man of imagination
Always able to let thoughts flow.
While bringing a healing or needed relief.

Poetry is a gateway to the soul
For him it brings a source of peace
to pen out his thoughts onto paper
sharing simple thoughts with young and old
His writing is a gift from the Lord
that he is meant to share with the world
Making a difference where ever he goes.

Poetry isn't just a bunch of words
it is a blanket for the tired and cold
and a friend to those needing comfort
to know they aren't alone and are heard.
I've seen his words slowly unfold
the problems life that causes people to hurt.
I hope He NEVER stops sharing with the world

As poetry isn't something that is always sold
but something that is worth more to so many
That read it, They're looking for peace and comfort
To them it's worth more than silver or gold.
I know how it definitely reaches and helps me
Jim's poems are a soothing balm to a soul that hurts.
He should always be open to share what must be told.

I'm Blessed to be able to call him a friend and mentor
He's able to open up life's darkest mysteries
and show me what improvement still need to be done
Which poems I write sound harsh or can be more tender
poets brave the biggest storms and feel the gentlest breeze.
We express ourselves so easily while having fun.
There is nothing like expressing what we want to remember

Premium Member Our New Almost Vice Principal

She introduced herself to the staff as their new vice-principal.
It was not the truth,
Not quite a lie yet either.
In truth, she had
Warned the principal
She was after his job.
The principal did not get to choose
His own staff, and human resources
Had hired and sent him this
 maladroit interloper in July.
He knew her quite well by the
Time the rest of the staff arrived
In August.
She was rapidly labelled an
unwelcome fussbudget. In
hours the staff knew to stay away from
her in droves, not listening
to her ravings or keen suggestions
for improvement on their inept performances.
Her most confident area, of course was self-confidence.
She had it in oodles and arches,
And she displayed it
With the skill of
a clumsy peacock, holding an exceptionally casual bull horn.
The last they heard her about her, she had complained to HR that her frustration level was through the roof, they were boobs, and she was leaving.
A little celebration good-bye party was held in her honor two weeks after she left
at the principal's house.
Now who forgot to invite her?
