My friend Jim Horn.
Who is he really?
He is a friend to many
He has a heart of gold
who cares about you and me.'
He is a man of imagination
Always able to let thoughts flow.
While bringing a healing or needed relief.
Poetry is a gateway to the soul
For him it brings a source of peace
to pen out his thoughts onto paper
sharing simple thoughts with young and old
His writing is a gift from the Lord
that he is meant to share with the world
Making a difference where ever he goes.
Poetry isn't just a bunch of words
it is a blanket for the tired and cold
and a friend to those needing comfort
to know they aren't alone and are heard.
I've seen his words slowly unfold
the problems life that causes people to hurt.
I hope He NEVER stops sharing with the world
As poetry isn't something that is always sold
but something that is worth more to so many
That read it, They're looking for peace and comfort
To them it's worth more than silver or gold.
I know how it definitely reaches and helps me
Jim's poems are a soothing balm to a soul that hurts.
He should always be open to share what must be told.
I'm Blessed to be able to call him a friend and mentor
He's able to open up life's darkest mysteries
and show me what improvement still need to be done
Which poems I write sound harsh or can be more tender
poets brave the biggest storms and feel the gentlest breeze.
We express ourselves so easily while having fun.
There is nothing like expressing what we want to remember
