A poem by me
You can take the breathe from my body. You can have my soul ripped open wide. You can have my mind, the wanderer it is. You can have this hand to hold. You can hold the very essence of my being in the palm of your hand. Do with me what you wish. I offer myself to you as nothing more or less than who I am. Down to my very core I am yours. Feel my heart beat in this box with your name upon its lid. Forever I will be a part of you, and you always a part of me. I lay here bare, naked. With wrists torn open bleeding for you. You are my soul, my heart outside my body. I give you all I am and ever will be without hesitation. You have won me. A war long fought. You turned a cold damaged soul into a bleeding heart. I give you all I am. Scars and all.
My aunt Pat sewed one for me
She loved my aunt Louise
Neither of them were aunts to me
The frog full of corn still dangles
over a trophy for a marathon of mine
I didn’t win or remember,
but I hope she is remembered more
than what she left me
when I was too young
to see that frogs
and being
are more than uncooked corn
This heart keeps beating
even when I tell it to stop
You deserve more than corn
I cannot count your kernels
to match your character
but I will try for longevity here
while lines match
the strenuous longevity
of my limited kernels;

By Poet.... "Haven hide me safe and sound. Far away from this cruel world. Give me peace of mind and body."
The story of my haven,
as I ran from the huge raven.
Was I living in a cave-in?
Life's pictures have been hung with a cloth pin.
The huge raven represents life,
the cave-in represents midlife.
Where did life go?
Time had no flow,
no more glow.
All the time I was low,
I just wanted to live and to grow.
Hiding in my safe haven covered with snow,
I now watch TV and a new game show.
Oh,
to be
remembered
Oh,
to memories
serve
Oh,
to cheat
the reaper
Oh,
to strike
a nerve
Oh,
to light
the candle
Oh,
to be
a spark
Oh,
to live
inside you
Oh,
to smite
— the dark

Why have they escaped horrible tyranny
and not come here to profess hypocrisy.
haven't they bled enough
and clung to deny clemency?
What was built by patriotic hands
won't be destroyed by a threat;
bravery always stands!
How beautiful is live
in a land of fairness and prosperity
without a set boundary;
we can own and wish what we crave!
Every dollar needs to be earned,
no laziness builds character
in struggles we thrive;
the strongest helps the weaker
no traitor is hailed and honored:
he';ll pay for his crime~
How beautiful is to live
in a land of freedom and prosperity,
without a set boundary;
we can own what we wish and crave!
America is the blessed
country of absolute freedom,
our belief is based on wisdom;
all patriots should be praised!
If you love where you live
That’s a wonderful fact,
But you can’t expect others
To always react
To your choice of address
With a positive spin,
Especially if
It’s a city you’re in.
Oh, I’d never live there –
All the crowds and the noise!
The hustle and bustle
Which no one enjoys.
The subways and traffic,
The homeless, the rats;
The crime – have you noticed
The murder rate stats?
It’s useless explaining
Your opposite view –
The people to look at,
So much you can do.
The buildings, the plantings,
Museums and shows,
The shops and the restaurants
Everyone knows.
No matter how hard
You may try to convey
How you feel in the city,
There isn’t a way
To convince those who hate it
The reasons you’ve got.
It’s either inside you
Or else it is not.
The complex secret of life
is simplicity itself:
you're born, you live and you die.
It is a well-thumbed book with
incomprehensible text
which you borrow, you read and
then pass it on to the next.
I will be me as an anchor,
I will be me as an anchor,
But me saying as it will,
As the oceans pass I will,
As the stories tell I will.
Today I am feeling very hurt for myself.
From everyone I only wanted a little love,
And I didn't even get that.
After you came into my life I learned to live again,
And now you yourself have left my life.
You know how much I love you,
Then why did you do this?
I was just a little jealous,
What was so wrong in that
That you said you want space?
I always Loved you without
any conditions just to
receive the love i never get
I never wished bad for your parents,
I thought I would love them like my own,
But look what happened,
My happiness was snatched away.
I have no one to share my pain with,
So I am writing my heart's words in this diary.
Tree that murmurs and breathes
Living like humans with leis and wreaths
One soul in time fated to trek
In a lost world of a living fleck.
Standing strong in the middle of a speck
A white dotted-speck in the center of a dim deck...
Could never live in a city,
nothing about it feels right,
so cramped, crowded, and quite dirty,
hard angles always in sight.
The stress I see in the faces,
pricey closets for a home,
everything near someone else’s,
no land they can call their own.
Moving like rats in a subway,
nothing but concrete to walk,
all this to live where ‘things happen,’
at least that’s how many talk.
So few of them will have children,
the cost most just can’t afford,
and most went there for the fast life,
gives nothing but demands more.
The morals always declining,
any in they’ll tolerate,
cling to it amidst the chaos,
and die still claiming it’s great.
The crimes of degraded people,
city hall doing nothing,
don’t care to arrest criminals
when they need them all voting.
It hollows out the whole city,
great buildings rotting away,
the people not getting better,
the whole place endlessly fades.
And yet they say we should live there,
believe they top all the rest,
better than all of those ‘rednecks,’
see other folk as much less.
No, I can’t live in a city,
the whole place is insane,
no job, museum, or night club
can be worth that kind of pain.
and salted sarcasm
just like the air
I forgot was there
I always needed you
Mermaids laugh
at my cutting semantics
and manic mannerisms
on calloused rocks,
because they miss
the texture of sound
They listen better
than two-legged fools
Everything has limits
This house has 90 degree walls
This mocking bird will tire eventually
These words keep a flat straight line
This skin keeps the blood inside
warmer than love
Break through Ben,
even if I hit the ceiling of Heaven,
break it down, Ben
Break it down
Vive l’aventure !
Adventure stokes our hearts’ eternal flame
Sings to Courage, our better angel
Adventure beckons us in every season
From the lustrous pearl landscape of midwinter
To spring’s verdant rebirth as flowers bloom
From summer’s fun as families frolic
To autumn’s turning leaves and harvest moon
Adventure is the mirror that allows us to see
Our souls’ reflection… the true you and me
Adventure awaits. Allons-y !
Live each day well
for the next may not come
let the past go
let all hate go
let a smile be your way
let each care fade
just do as you wish
eat what you wish
fill each day with life
go where you will
find that path in the woods
keep your friends close
find the love that dwells in you

Can we live without love?
In Kyrgyzstan, in Armenia,
In Brittany, in Venezuela,
Without sharing his emotions,
With God or Saint Joseph,
Regardless of his birth,
The color of his skin,
No matter how much he’s worth,
Can we live without love?
In Greece or the Cyclades,
In the sun or under the Big Dipper,
In the light, in a dungeon,
Can we live without love?

Can we live without love?
In Rio, or in Calcutta,
in Marrakech or in Berlin,
in Paris or in Marseille,
at the sea, in the countryside,
No matter how hard you try,
To suspend time, or anything
No one will read your rondeau,
Can we live without love?
In Brest or Carcassonne,
In the gardens of the Essonne,
In the flowery countryside
Or in Véronique’s bed?
