It's nuts!
I live in a country where the president hates my guts.
Mine and and those of 175 million others ~
we're talking grandparents, parents, sister, and brothers.
And all because we didn't vote for that orange putz.
I wanna live
My life to the fullest
Father
I want to try to make
Some more new friends
Because Father I have
Very little friends in
My life
Also I have to look
After myself
Father I have no problem
Looking after myself
I do it every single day
I look also after my health
Every single day
And I go to bed early
Every single night
So that I get
A proper night sleep
to live poetry
much better than to write it
Matsuo Basho said
from a place of sadness and heartbreak
i write this as i say
"now i always disappear on people,
you see this has been a great escape
others first performed this one on me
when i almost lost my sanity"
i slowly disappeared from my friends life
so the call lines finally end up rusting
before any betrayal comes my way
this is my new greatest way to love, live and escape
She got to wake up the next day
He didn't.
She got to live her life
He didn't.
She got to have her own family
He didn't
She lied
He didn't.
She admitted to the lie -
No repercussions
He was a black boy -
He got murdered
Carolyn Bryant,
A murderer
Emmett Till,
A victim
The courts awarded her due diligence
His family fled in fear, that it'd be repeated
Leaving their home, scared they'd be targeted
Their home a ghost to a child evicted
A system built to allow racism
I came not here
To wound your heart
Don't love me,
I've nothing to provide .
Love? a fleeting name,
Nothing to claim.
They fall for love,
They cherish love,
They called it beauty,
But beauty turns duty.
Love, they paint in gain,
Yet canvas bleeds with pain.
They Live to love,
But I -
I love to live.
Love, Life - aren't you one?
Cruel, Cruel - what a cruel name.
No warning, no excuse,
Nor promise to hold on
It snaps,
and you're done-
Buried in dampened
Breathless earth.
Yet still,
I choose to live.
you cannot expect to trust a lion after removing his teeth
you know it can easily kill you with his claws
you cannot expect a traveler who went to a new south
to return to his old south in the same color of flame
he learned new ways of life, forgetting the ones he left behind
he learned to betray to make his way to appeal his kind
We live together
People, nations, countries, continents
White, brown, and black look different
Maybe, but behind an ancient heart
Our lives have come to colorful life
Colors are different, but together one
There is no color. All the colors are the light.
More than the rainbow. Illusion that life
We live together. We can. In the light
Racism, ageism, sexism, name it!
If there was tech-ism, we’d have to game it
Why should the pattern of reckless decision
Further a hate based on sex or religion
Why not let love and let live be your “ism”
Spreading its beauty like light through a prism
Loveism, likeism, careism, make it!
After a while, you would not have to fake it
What if our would had no isms at all
Changing the course of our strange little ball
Love and let live and leave others alone
Foster the greatest true love ever known
Two ways to live, love:
Dwelling on banks of Ganges
Heavenward to move,
Betwixt breasts where heaven is,
Forgetting moral judges.

Translation (Tanka, Senryu + couplet) | 32.08.2025 | woman, beautiful
Note: Here is a verse (in Anushtubh meter) from Bhartrihari’s Shringaara Shatakam (hundred verses on love and romance). Where and how should one live? The poet offers two alternatives: Either on the bank of Ganges for spiritual pursuits or between two breasts of a beautiful woman in pursuit of passion. The verse creates here fine assonance with two pairs of rhyming words-- paapa-vaarini vaarini and mano-haarini haarini. Here is the transliteration:
Avaasah kriyataam gaange,
paapa-vaarini vaarini |
Stana madhye tarunyaa vaa,
mano-haarini haarini || 67 ||
I reside in a commune of exconvicts,
Lucky I was never convicted.
I reside in a hallway of rooms of addicts,
Lucky to live here unrestricted.
it’s ok to let go
AP: 1st place 2025
It’s life
It has to go on
Until we are gone
It’s time
You can’t hold it back
You can’t move it forward
It’s life
You can’t predict the future
You can’t change the past
It’s time
You can’t make everything right
You can’t make everyone bright
But Truly
Things will settle down
When they will find the way on their own
Life happens
When you own your moments
We begin like a fairytale,
Your hand finds mine with ease,
You speak in soft enchantments,
Like honey in the breeze.
You look at me like magic,
Like stars are in my hair,
Like I’m the wish you whispered
Into some midnight air.
Your touch is warm as sunlight,
Your voice, a velvet song,
With every word, I’m weightless—
Like I’ve known you all along.
You don’t just say you love me,
You live it, every day,
In stolen sips of laughter,
In silly things we say.
We build our world in whispers,
With pillows, books, and tea,
With moonlit walks and morning hugs,
And dancing randomly.
You kiss me like it’s breathing,
Like I’m your favorite sound,
Like time itself slows down for us
Whenever you’re around.
You trace my dreams in daylight,
Catch freckles on my skin,
You say I make the world feel soft—
And let the light rush in.
Right now, this love is blooming,
Like springtime in full spin,
A garden full of laughter,
Where both our hearts begin.
You and I, we're wonder—
Not perfect, but so true.
A little bit of chaos,
And endless skies of blue.
she walks in smiling
like a billboard,
all blonde shine
and polished teeth.
the laws bend for money,
she knows it—
she’s danced long enough
with men in suits
to sell the dance twice.
you ask about morals,
hell, she keeps them
in a purse—
zippered tight,
pulled out only for the camera.
the rest of the time
she is like the others—
slick, practiced,
and waiting for her next check.
