Our guaranteed Biblical protection and deliverance from the enemy Commentary part three

Commentary Greetings breathern, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose he will receive anything from the Lord; for he is a double minded man, unstable in all of his ways. James 1:1-8. It has been said that's it's better to go to a house of mourning rather than to a house of feasting, merry making, drunkenness and debauchery. Because it's like being hit in the face with a glass of ice colder water. A house of death and of mourning serves to remind all humans that we all have to face death sooner or later. Until our Lord comes back down and transports His servants into His Father's House in His kingdom of heaven. When a believer dies, Jesus refers to it as only falling asleep in the Lord. I told my dying mother and my dying middle brother. Who are both absent from the body but now present with the Lord Jesus,"When you close your eyes for the very last time, when you wake up you will see Jesus." When James mentions in 4:9 Let your laughter be turned into mourning it's a direct reference to laughter caused by drunkenness. It's only fleeting joy but all too soon it can be turned into gloom when confronted by your own mortality in the house of mourning. Did you not know that we not only are to confess our trespasses to God our Father but also to our fellow brethren in the Lord Jesus Christ? Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effectual prayer of a righteous man avails much. James 5:16. Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his ways will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins. Come now you, who say,"Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city and spend a year there, buy sell and make profit." 4:13 What guarantee do we have about tomorrow? Instead you ought to say,"If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that." But now you boast in arrogance. All such boast ing is evil. 4:16. Don't ever do evil do what's right instead!
