Premium MemberThe Marks Of Humility

Humility is so very hard to find
man is themselves have this great lack
for most of us think we're so great
the very opposite of a humble knack

Looking far and near to find one
many think they are humility-full
but the one who does proves they're not
for they smack of the opposite, so uncool

Learn from those who are meek of heart
thinking they are the least of all
not putting themselves out to the front
instead content being last no matter who calls

They are also those who speak seldom
using only words to encourage and lift up
not seeking to be critically rude
only happy to say little about your cup

Well, how does one sum this up?
be humble, keep yourself idol-free
think not great of your very self
walk the humble road with integrity

Premium MemberThen I'll Know It's Time to Go

             Someday I shall be happy to say

               Everything in life prepared me

                 for this ~ my very last day

Premium MemberDear Angel

Ah dear angel, there’s no life without flesh
Spiritual, we are abstract and formless
It would’ve been a miracle, to refresh
Our lives, to be revived from nothingness
But miracles don’t happen often, do they
Your ASDA list completed, lawn is mowed
The rooms are tidied, as they were that day
That froze in time not to be spoken much about
We’ve found ourselves just by a happy chance
My dear angel, help me with my thought
Was it a miracle that happens only once
Or an unconscious life we bound to sought?

Premium Membertime to let go

it's been too long not to be happy and live my own life

simple
hard work pays off

no headaches, no extra hassles
happy

Premium MemberLife

Life

Life is a bowl of cherries
Life is a stage which we never leave
Life is an island on which we’re shipwrecked
Life seems to be an impossible mission that never ends
Life is God

Whatever else life happens to be
It is sometimes worse than getting stung by a bee
Even when there are soothing sounds which are supposed to help
We cannot always relax and be happy

But life is life and for every individual
it is allegedly different which may be hard
For some to understand regardless of demands
Which seem to be all around in different shapes-
Oh, why can’t there be less stress in life?

Premium MemberMend The Fences

Mend the fences they will say, give forgiveness as you pray. Is there a smile in the suns bright ray? Maybe I do not want a pretty flower bouquet. I think you should be on your way, fly out of my life like a blue jay. I do not want to mend this fence today, you bring me clouds of gray. I want only a happy day, make it fast with no delay

Premium MemberKeeping It Simple

Simple and uncomplicated

Is the way l want to live

Appreciating and savouring

All the beauty this life has to give
~~~
Avoiding overload and keeping stress at bay
Simply…. doing the best l can
Not over- committing or feeling overwhelmed
That is my life plan
~~~~

I now have the time and lifestyle to do that

To make my choices and decisions that suit me

No longer answering to anyone

Free to enjoy life ‘my way’ being happy!

Premium MemberSimple Being

Simple being is what I worth the most
Any lofty ideals I won’t justify
I ditch principles and credos of those
Who are chosen to rule, born to lie
The existence I own makes enough
Foundation for the rest that I need
Like perceiving music, arts, feeling love
Taking care of the garden and weed
Hamlet’s question seems idle to me
Hope I don’t sound stiff or too proud
I’m your happy sad Jack - just to be
Is the most comfy thing I have found.

Premium MemberWhen I met the Animals

in my backyard,
where they came looking for me

The orangutang surveyed the property
from the top of the garden shed

The jaguar looked bored
on the trampoline

The snow leopard walked
figure eights around
the potted tomatoes

The kangaroo kicked a dingo
and I had to referee

The albatross wasn't keen on company,
so he danced through the sky
as if swinging by strings

The anaconda had already eaten
so, he slept beneath the magnolia tree

The giraffe was less than thrilled
with the greens
growing in Greensboro,
so he scanned the horizon
for something better

I listened to the unexotic
Northern Mockingbirds
in the grey branches
and was happy

Premium MemberWalking in Life

Being tired and witnessing life pass you by,
Only to realize that people were healthy and died.
Remember that life is about happiness,
Get closer to yourself with no regrets.
Walk the path with credence and always see
In life, we age, so heartache is not out of reach.
The healthy are the sickest, but they don't know.
We are living with the mentality that we will grow old.
So, let's slow down and get out of our heads.
Life is beautiful so lets be happy instead.

Premium MemberCamping in Real Life

I sit in my home and I often pine
For the forest scent

Three days in my smelly tent and I moan
For my bed at home

A tent or a mansion, why do I care
I’m not quite happy neither here nor there
