My Mother Was Catatonic

My mother was catatonic, symphonic chronic is what I smoke.
Livinin it bougie, choosin floosies no uzis and then I choke.
You can be me, insane cerebral cortex is
just what I feel.
Living pervy swerving Lexus and hexes to get the deal!
I'm the homosexual, heterosexual, suicidal bloke.
I was adopted by white family and to them I'm just a joke.
They are white supremacist hollow and they drink a racist coke.
And they bought themselves a black kid, broke me down and built a moat.
I'm the illest of the illest, you the illest with a pill.
Donate plasma with no athesma, drain so much I start to spill!
Got the game on lock with fakers who found out that words can kill.
Better bump this on speakers like I invented free will!
Spendin money by the twenties gettin hundies by the bill..
And I'll never stand for the flag so you coonies can in chill!
If my words had a flavor I'm sure I'd be spicy dill.
Bringing back the old school freshness like my name is Uncle Phil!

The Rental

My mule is intelligent, and it loves me.
perhaps it loves everybody,
it's a rental.

I need a shot of confidence.
The mule rests its head on my shoulder.

It's a well-travelled track
but today I have met no one.
I should have left camp in the early dark,
for now a fiery desert sun
is baking the dry earth into hot broken glass.

I imagine our bones
being found some years later
by some kid in an off-road Lexus.

The Mule snorts derisively;
nudges me in the small of the back
to get me going.

A few miles later I'm drinking Tequila
in a cantina
and the mule is falling in love again
with some other intrepid explorer.

Premium MemberMixed Signals

A terribly tired, trashed-out old truck,
lacking in luster, down on its luck,
longingly looked at a lithe little Lexus
there at the bar, fresh in from Texas.
Depressed, dejected, and driven to drink,
wipers not working, and too beat to blink,
he summoned his strength and shot her a smile;
seems ’twas the first she’d seen in a while.
Given a green light, he got it in gear,
kicked doubt to the curb and patted her rear.
Flush-faced, he flipped in reverse in a flash;
those were no lady parts under her dash.

I Dreamed a Dream

In America we have all we need
if we can find or take it.
Our work ethic is strong
yet weakening at every knee.

Oppose the status quo
break a window
no one is going to arrest
we know what's best
to keep the dream going.

Last night
I really did dream of our future...
Imagine a bowl of cherries
bleeding dark red blood
all over your Lexus or your wheelchair.

Imagine if there was no hell
just another replay of social decay
everyday

and you are the one
pushing bodies into darkness,
it is you smashing a brick over
all those hurrying heads.

Meant For Something Better

" Unforseen Evolution"

Meant for something better
Wait for me.... the world is changing!

I swear l will find you and when l am on top she will say l do it good this a journey of a lifetime in a Lexus without a nexus l was King in my nightmares only to be resurrected by the Knight in my dreams this tale is of royalty.

No plan l was scratching my head , no nosh it was water boy , no toys bro , just a base ball cap and a string for faith .

On my knees l was praying each and every day l saw an angel in my mento and she whispered you are a warrior keep your head up you are almost there.

Forget about the shortcuts , cutting corners l use the long road it got me safe on my feet when l landed l took a trip to Mars and the moon winked my approval for a chance at the hightable.

A tribal chief like Roman Reigns l am a champion , two formidable cribs with a pool and a jacuzzi , a German shepherd , one cat and thirteen fast cars the last disciple being him l am talking Mustangs.

A slice of cheese , cameras shooting , history being made and l ain't never going back to empty shelves and pockets this is my moment l am basking in.

LATE TO WORK BUT I'M OFF ON SATURDAY

A single man from Texas;
Woke up late for breakfast;
Said his prayers, read a bible verse
Took a shower, in ice-cold water;
Got dressed;
Put on a tie and vest;
He got out the closet;
Had to hurry, so he wouldn't be late;
Went to the garage;
Open the door.
Sat in the car;
My Lexus;
Took the freeway;
Arrived to work late;
Got to my office;
Looked at the calander, realised I was off...
Cause it's Saturday???

Bruce Jenner, Wheaties Winner

Bruce Jenner, Wheaties Winner

Can you imagine Bruce Jenner being a Wheaties winner
Becoming a women wanting to be much thinner
With quite a fine, attractive, adorable face
Wearing dress, high heels and blouse with lace.

What is world turning these confusing days
All of the many surprising ways of seeking praise
For child what kind of example is this setting
Trying to determine sex and fooling around and fretting.

Same sexes to each other now may be married to
A popular past time in church is becoming true
So what if Adam and Eve had both been gay?
None of us never ever would be here today.

James Thomas Horn
Retired Veteran and Poet

So if you are a man who changes sexes, you get
to ride around in $180,000 Porsche not a Lexus.
You might even have your own Television show
Because of the influential people that you know.
Will he even start his/her own religion Us weird
Episcopalians do accept same sex marriages and
have female priests and deacons. How about you?
PS needs a gay category I am beginning to believe.

Xasperating Dilema

I've got exes of both sexes but what vexes and perplexes me when i'm riding in my Lexus and I get to feelin reckless is every time I see a "chick" I gotta wonder what the sex is.

Rustic Civility

Spent seventy cents on sentry saints
Though soul and spirit rebel with the pulse
I read their abuse with an effort of excuse
This rum, this loaf to feast is grossly imbalanced
These pennies paid with pains on African plains
Twice a dozen days my labor effort to afford
This gesture though un-lorded is induced
To keep on keeping on a faint kiss on the cross
Multitudes embrace, a singly saint can't otherwise
Not for the hate, neither duty nor pride
It's to keep the tradition not to go instinct
We were schooled givers never lack
For fair play, takers also never lack
In appreciation, a pauper comes riding a Lexus
And by the way life goes, Earth will crowd Heavens
Wouldn't there be a gendarme post raised?
Then a ghetto for the screening of saints
But for the cents, the kobo's and cowries offered
Heavens will erect a bureau De change
God, for the treasure the Earth offers thee.

Who Are Actually Rich

Who Is Actually Rich?

By Elton Camp

How can the wealthy be identified?
To learn who they are, I have tried

There are signs I thought would tell
Who it is that’s really doing quite well

A mansion with five thousand square feet
Only the rich can accomplish that feat

I also look at the place it’s located
Especially if in a community gated

Brand new cars bought most every year
It’s only for the very prosperous, I hear

And they don’t accept just any old sedan
It’s Lexus, Mercedes or Caddy they demand

The rich eat out at an expensive place
The counter at McDonald’s never face

But an important thing I did forget
For all that, they’re deeply in debt

It was then that an epiphany I got
I am the one rich and they are not

Premium MemberSouth Texas Blizzard

.     SOUTH TEXAS BLIZZARD
The biting cold of early March's freeze
fell from the Arctic northlands down the main,
and froze to death the larks beneath the trees
then silently it crept the Kansas plain.

It slowed the pace of life to just a walk
for busy Texans on the Rio Grande
and failing citrus was the stuff of talk
until the blowing snow was close at hand;

they slipt and slid on farmways coated twice
unwilling to admit they didn't know
how one should drive a Lexus on this ice
or where-from blizzards come and where they go.

      The rattle snake is burrowed safe and deep
        the only place that's warm enough for sleep.

Mr and Mrs White

The man called Mr. White
get's in his steel grey lexus
and drives away
every morning
at 7:15
sharp
at
7:20 am
Mrs. White
departs the house
in her starched and ironed pant suit
The Whites are seperate all day long
Typing, meeting, drinking coffee
doing those important things
that make the world
go round about
but at 9pm
they
both arrive
Mr. White and Mrs. White
Throw themselves on their bed
without removing their shoes! Imagine that
They jump on their bed with their
dirty, shiny, important shoes
until they collapse
and then
they
give eachother a kiss goodnight...................................................................
