A friendship or love
Goodbyes are a second chance
To start life over

Always unconditional
Dazzling by far

This was written for a wonderful young man that I am very fortunate to have in my life. He
is so passionate about so many different things. I was thinking about him and this is what
came to mind.

A Love Long Past

There was overwhelming love in their eyes
The tears will pass
Tomorrow
A new
Day

Winter Is Here

As I look around
The leaves fallen form the trees
Seasons come and go.

Surgery

She waits all alone
Not certain what will happen
Hospital awaits

As the Day Ends

You look back and think
Have I done what needs to be
No remorse, of course

Never Look Back

As she looks forward
The sky turns blue as freedom
Approaches her now

Someone You Can'T Live Without

Love
Never
Lasts until
You find someone
You simply can not see yourself without

I decided to try something a little different. I have always been pretty good with
syllables, so this looked pretty interesting to me. I would love to have you guys feed
back on this one since the style is very new to me. Thanks, Misty

Broken

Wounded
Bleeding
Hurt
Pain
Tears
Sobbing
Collapsing
Folding
Rocking
...
...
...
Little Hands
Grasping Mine
Asking
Lost
Crying
Puzzled
Confused
...
...
...
Look Up
More Tears
Quivering Lips
Wipe Tears
Wrap Arms
More Tears
Holding Tight
...
...
...

Spent Soul

Tears streaming inside,
   emotions, trying to hide.
Hurt can’t be explained,
   in words that are plane.
Feelings hidden from eye site,
   fake smile brings delight.

Sacrificing self,
   displace feeling on a shelf.
Catering friends needs,
   as my heart just bleeds.
Passion mislead to others,
   every soul brothers.

How long can I stand,
   on crumbling, dry, barren land?
My drained soul in need,
   can you hear my plea?
More demanding needs exhaust,
   my will to fight lost.

Rock bottom now I stand,
   reaching out for someone’s hand.
Time not even friend,
   three hands tied can’t lend.
Darkness consumes, vision blurred,
   death within occurred.

Canopy

Forest umbrella,
Rays of light plummeting through;
Mossy foundation.
