Carolyn, yes it has been some trying times here as of late. But the good Lord never puts us through something that we can't come out stronger for. I have truly missed writing and it is very nice to be back. Andrea, thanks to you commenting on my poetry. That is what brought me back to the soup. Lots of Love to you both ladies!

Misty this is a sweet senryu and filled with hope. It could be taken as emotional pain she suffers thru the dark of night, which leaves with the sun. Or perhaps physcial ailment. Or maybe a one night thing and with the sun, she finds relief from sorrow. In any event, very nice. LUv, Andrea

Hon, it seems like you may have gone through some difficult times while you were away from the Soup. This is a good place to start life anew. You have family here.
