Nathan, Sad words for a sad situation. Separation from children must be very painful...especially when they miss you so much, too. I wish I could help you through the pain. I can only suggest that you talk it out with your child. Say, "I love you" often. And be sure that you let him/her know that the separation/divorce is NOT their fault and that even though you don't live together any more, you still love him/her. You poem says the pain.
