Premium MemberWho Left the Toilet Seat Up

Who left the toilet seat up? The clan began to screech.
It couldn’t have been Baby James, he can barely reach.
Was it that oaf Jim or Uncle Bob the one who sneezes?
I have no idea, someone said, but he does do what he pleases.

Well, Grandma has fallen in and she’s madder than a hen.
We have to call the fire department, and someone has to let them in.
Can’t we pull her out? Asked Uncle seat-leaver-upper with small brain.
Doubtful as part of her is stuck way down somewhere in the drain.

Cheerful Giver

You can’t be a cheerful giver
And releasing a million quiver,
Every charity donation on spiritual command
To return to source like a river
Either in treasured Gold or in silver
The rich still demand.

One shouldn’t to future philanthropy say ‘Never’
When one has begun to eye ‘record of the forever’
Nor one’s relationship with beggars sever
On sighting them turning a leaver
A battling with non givers fever.

Reports of a Snail Slime Trail

A consequence of a misspent
youth

Is a flashback to when my
mother beckoned me to her

Calling me by my full name
Christopher not Chris

One could assume one was in
a fair bit of trouble

But on this occasion it was
not the case

What she needed was fresh
eye's to crack the case

Of the curious case of the
mysterious kitchen slime trail
leaver

Because i as the outdoor city
type knew and was up on
recognizing and identifying
my animal doo-doo po
because i am full of it

So i got straight to work armed
with my magnifying glass

And instantly identified the
guilty party

You see it could have been
a number of different species
or thing's

But i knew straight away it was
indeed a snail

And how did i know this
you ask

Simple because you can
see almost everything looking
through that magnifying
glass

So much so i could see him
lip synching the jedi mind trick

I am not the snail you are
looking for

What you want is escargot
or frog's legs

Grim Reaper

Death, I have experienced not.
But of it I have stolen, a clear glimpse
As it whisked passed me
So plain
In grim faces with
eyes deeply stained
Evident through streams
Flowing, by the nose, separated.

Ooh! I recognise death:
Dried tongue with bittersweet taste,
Deep into the night, the day, awoken
Taker of all, leaver of none,
I realise who death is,
A promise of roses in the middle of the desert,
A defiant character.

A timely guest
Dogged, deviant and
Sadistic.
leaves at the service of a peculiar excitement
I am it's host, expectant,
But it has, in oft, teased.
I have shared space with death,
A mindful personality.

Brexit Sonnet 22 - How Can I Leave Thee

Brexit Sonnet No.22
‘How Can I Leave Thee’

How can I leave thee? Let me count the ways.
I’ll leave thee as I believe I have the right
To batter and breach all doubters in plain sight.
I’ll end EU trading with indecent haste.
I’ll leave thee as every Leaver brays,
‘Heed the shining democratic light’.
I’ll lead thee weakly, let others worry what’s right.
I’ll lead thee gullibly, so no challenge raise.
I’ll lead thee to a cliff edge to be obtuse,
Ignoring briefs, and with my experts gagged.
I’ll lead after my election I seemed to lose.
With no true friends, I’ll leave thee not a mood lift,
Union, nor smiles for rest of life; and, as it’ll prove,
I shall but leave thee worse and cast adrift.

Have Been Trigger Happy

Have Been Trigger Happy

Has been know to have a horse named Trigger;
Actually is happy because his horse is bigger;
A blatant lie,
Will pass by;
Was ticked off after being bitten by a chigger.

Jim Horn

Leaver it up to chiggers and tics.

Its Complication

A pastor a speech a warm of a tea
A lonely night ten for a cheer
A break of ladder a tree for green
A lost of faith a hype of a bee
A coin a flip shift of wind
A thieve words of belief
A come a leaver a door open
A witness come a belief
A night a fairy shield the will
A home start of kin
A question leave for a storm.

Cotton Thread

Tears drench cotton thread
that cleans the blood she has shed
many trials stain red
for all the times she has bled

Freak, whore, loner, and ****
these are the words that cause her to cut

white lines rule shallow skin
scares that hold the monster in

They leaver her heart weak and soar
yet her brain still asks for more

Shinny blades are in control
for memories took her soul

so now shes alone with no hope for life
only guided by a tinted knife

left to death with an empty mind
upon no love for her to find

With no one shes left abandoned to cry
with only one wish and that is to die

In the last battle she ended the war
leaving her sleeping on tile floor
the cotton thread not stopping the pour
as she entered heavens open door

Back To Heaven Again

Back to Heaven Again

What we want is for love and sensibility
Both to last a whole lifetime into infinity
Problems solved and an answer render
Which never requires any legal tender.

Realize God above is our one and only
Who supports you when down and lonely
Will take our hand and then leads us on
So we will find success in each new dawn.

Don't let us foolishly around be dashing
Or needlessly many others we are trashing
Know God is near and always available
Causes economy and rough seas to be stable.

Always glad each time when His spirit is near
And us on straight and narrow, he will steer
Retrieve when lost or deep in a lion's den
In end, help us return back to heaven again.

The Amazing Spider

In the early morning view outside my window
Captured my attention to one spider spinning his web
Interesting to look at how he maneuvers and views
The radius of his web for any prey to step inside

Not an apprentice anymore, inborn a master weaver
A lone performer living and feeding on his own
When the surrounding is dim, someone at stake--the leaver
Lurks a cunning spider on his bounded zone

Once marked his territory, guarded it with all his might
A truly wonder crystal piece hanging undisturbed
Withstand the slashing wind and consenting to a water right
For heedless occupants serving as their deathbed

Strumming threads to serenade his lady
His nonpareil prowess in dancing adds more to his intent
Fearsome to other contenders, he's dealing a real shady
To follow the dragline with or without her consent

Love Me Not

Do not trust me or my gorgeous eyes,
I will only seduce you and feed you my lies!
Do not wrap your heart in bows or kisses,
I will shatter your dreams and all of your dying wishes!
What a beautiful fool you've got to be...
There's no love or angel inside Of me!
With tears you feared to be alone?!
Foolishly calling me your loves only home!!!
Your heart wrote lyrical lies.
Songs of how your hips felt under me and in between my thighs!
You wanted me now and then and over and over again!
But baby making love to you, I was already remembering when!!!
Behind my curves only an empty heart pounds,
Yet like poison you fell for my un emotional sounds.
I was born a leaver only meant to leave!
My dear, can't you see?
Heaven forgot to rain just for me!!!!

Laugh With Me

Gather around
I have stories
Of something
You've never been told by me
A magical tale
of the sea and women
and the kings and masses
and a queen
you see three thousand years ago
there where battles
of siren's and warriors
so proud fought a war so big
the siren's created a plan:
sing a song so big it would
ruin them all but the warriors
heard the plan and the great Pan
had a weapon so great!
a wooden contraption
with rope and a large leaver
it could shoot a boulder
over three hundred yards
the sirens ran as far as they can go
and jumped into the sea...
and to this day they never left
