Premium Member Justice

Justice is fair
Justice is, well, just
Just the facts
Just what is needed
Needed to assign punishment
Needed to enforce the law.
Law of the land
Law and order
Order of business
Order to restore
Restore societal wrongs
Restore balance of power
Power to make a difference
Power to effect change
Change in government
Change in society
Society united
Society rebuilt
Rebuilt to prosper
Rebuilt for the common good
Good from bad
Good policing
Policing is lackluster
Policing is corrupt
Corrupt nowadays
Corrupt and violent
Violent against minorities.
Violent arrests
Arrests without just cause
Arrests for crimes
Crimes of the petty kind
Crimes quite serious
Serious police reform needed
Serious injustice
Injustice anywhere
Injustice everywhere
Everywhere one looks
Everywhere in America
America, my beloved country
America has a problem
Problem with gun violence
Problem with racism
Racism against minorities
Racism and anti-Semitism
Anti-Semitism is on the rise,
Anti-Semitism needs to stop.
Stop the madness!
Stop the mistreatment!
Madness
Mistreatment

The Verdict

“Guilty as charged!” came the jurors’ report,
Reflecting that justice was served.
The law of the land says to follow the court,
So the verdict was what was deserved.

The defendant, of course, didn’t seem to agree
But instead of accepting the news,
He disparaged the judge and the system so we
Might accept all his nasty, warped views.

When our country was founded, civility ruled
And the leaders worked hard on the laws.
What I hope is that voters won’t somehow be fooled
By a felon with nothing but flaws.

Premium Member The Law of the Land

Let no man ever put asunder

Dominate, exploit, or plunder

The freedoms of this institution

Promised in the Constitution

The laws enacted throughout the land

That are fought by those with their own hand

And impedes their legal distribution

Must face a final retribution

Premium Member Polar Shift

Another leap year and politics roll on,
and craziness has become the law of the land.
Could geodynamo* caused by polar shifting
cause brains to short-circuit, because it's all electrical don't you know?

*Earth's magnetic field is created by the movement of molten metal—primarily iron—in the outer core, which produces electricity. This mechanism is referred to as the "geodynamo" because it operates in a similar manner to a bicycle dynamo lamp.

Premium Member The Monster Falls

A monster smiles,
Thru the lies.
A family legacy.
A state of history.
The tradition of our founding fathers.
Our American heritage and,
Law of the land.
Their dynasty was tarnished,
By the words of a narcissistic monster,
who believed he was above the law.
The rich, privileged, and untouchable,
Who hid behind the badge.
The bodies pile up,
Year after year protected,
By a family of liars and cheaters.
Mallory, sweet Mallory,
Would speak from the grave.
The first victim among many,
Who would bring down,
The king of the land,
As the world watches.

Premium Member The Cali's Freedom Stand

In the town of Singleton, Hunter valley, NSW
Stands the Caledonian hotel, called the Cali
Famous not only for its popular pub
But also for standing strong for Aussies freedom.

Mystery surrounds the hotel, claimed haunted
As four people died for unknown reason
Unexplainable voices are heard in the rooms
Not known if these are legends or true.

Upholding the access of entry in the Cali for all
The Federation Aussie Flag on its roof
Stood for the law of the land that supported
Human rights, freedom of choice, respect of dignity.

Although the symbol of Aussies freedom
And indeed of liberty of the humanity and the world
The flag was taken down by a special order
The famed country pub is crowned the Freedom Hotel.

The British Crusade That Ended Slavery

From the beginning through all of our ancient civilisations slavery was an aspect

Until the arise of the irresistible force which removed this unmovable object

For in 1066 the law of the land, the England, forbade the ownership of man

Blockades of the Union Jack’s command
And today in this freedom we all stand.

Authors Note: Because Britain went after the impossible and people have no idea it happened.

Oh True Freedom- Come Soon

Far away from the truth;
People wish to be the new Ruth
That is ever relevant in all spheres
But to simple law of the land, none adheres.

They are the best freedom fighters of all time,
That had our days saved from tyrants.
Meanwhile, to the best disguised prime,
They keep tormenting us been democrats.

The law is duly enforced on the ruled
But the rulers are under immunity.
We've no doubt been fooled.
That after their tenures in offices, they still got gut to preach unity

For all and sundry through subgroup leaders
Who knows how to canvas their people
In total obedience to their cheerleaders
And cement oneness in the minds of the rabble.

To take from us again our mandates
With sugarcoating words and money.
Oh! When shall we adjudicate?
To make democracy runny!

Diameter

We have come full circle!
Freedom from oppression equals
corruption less deception.

The law of the land is zero!
Fraud and theft are over and above
pie to leave nothing!

The right to protest without violence
and freedom of education is none
from 27 to nought.

Death of peace plus an apology
has been deferred to 9×19mm casing
evidence lost at 20mm.

One True Friend

When you feel that you are not loved,
That your heart and soul are full of pain,
That you are lost in a world of hate
With no safe place to rest your head,
Then pray to The Man upstairs.

Ask your Heavenly Father to lighten your burdens,
To heal the scars of your past,
To help you find peace in a world of hate,
To give you the strength to move forward with your life
And start a new life filled with joy.

Forgive those that did you harm,
Let the law of the land or the Law of God
Punish those that caused your pain,
Let Jesus Christ into your life
And you’ll have at least ONE TRUE FRIEND.

All Are Lawyers

Ignorance of the law is no excuse,it’s law,all to know the piece of law applicable to their piece of work engaged in all those who are ignorance of this truth to pay a big price at once or more times in their whole life apart from loosing everything comparing to their peers knowing the law they are in a upper hand in the public existence knowing the law of the land is a not only a requirement by law but a tool of energizing, strengthening and teething with more confidence the carriers in turning them a complete citizens of the land that they belong.

New Today

Calm and peace
Prevailing
Within me for a couple of days

Noice and pollution
Beginning now

The same old experiences again

Dawning a new today
Opening the gates of lockdown
The law of the land

High Dependency

The drone of machines goes on and on
with the endless cry of the ward sisters song
energy rises like billowing smoke
with fiery glances to the ones who dare choke.

Invisible hand undertake their chores
over the barks and commands of the insistent roars.
The sick and the fallen lie still in their beds
as the army of staff turn it all on their heads.

Rigorous routine steps up a pace
to the onslaught of pressure that's put on this place
Healing and harmony must still exist
It's the law of the land, that one must insist.

So many bodies, so many hands
dancing to orders, between the commands
And so it continues day after day
In this battlefield tent, where the injured must stay.

Premium Member A Mari Usque Ad Mare

The judge sits
Solemn and orderly
Weighing salient points
Juggling facts
Deciphering nuances
Pondering implications
On justice and righteousness
Upholding the law of the land
A mari usque ad mare*
Rendering verdicts
Remotely somewhat
Inspired through time
By King Solomon’s wisdom

Premium Member A Different Path To Greatness

June 19, 1865, slavery in the Confederacy ended,
until then, all African Americans where slaves.
Now that the civil war was lost, blacks gained their freedom,
emancipation had become the law of the land.
Texas for the first time, accepted abolition
effectively freeing millions of slaves from bondage.
Ever since, their descendants celebrate their freedom
no longer could they be bought and sold as property.
The U.S. chose a different path to greatness, and
history commemorates each step of that journey.
