To bye the begone
absence, bereavement, death of
My head low, eyes wept at the earth below.
A single rose placed central,
to mark eternal love.
My mind knew life was short, everything...
Undercurrent of Melancholy
Waking to the sadness called “a new day”
truth passes over the mind
love one just cannot find
Hiding the undercurrent of a sigh
the heart refuses to breathe
KNEE CONFESSION TO THEE o JESUS--
analogy, appreciation, forgiveness, jesus,
Unrighteous sinners confess on bended knees
Inspiring confessed verse
Jesus saves the loss

Doors to Your Heart
best friend, family, feelings,
I wish that I could bear all pains for you,
Pain of Loss
animal, emotions, grief, loss,
In hibernation, like a polar bear
After the searing pain dulls
Bearable, day by day

brother, death, father, little
Dear brother your sorrow is my sorrow,
but at this time we need strength
allow others to grieve,
Dear sister my pain like yours is severe,
Pray, I Can Love Again
death, encouraging, grief, hope,
I am feeling the deep pain of my loss,
my little pet meant so much;
now, I have emptiness.
My heart is breaking and I need a hug,
introspection, loss, nostalgia, time,
all time foolishly taken for granted
in hindsight ever fleeting
once spent forever gone

Saddened by the loss of my sister’s dog who won everyone’s heart.
On a day not quite warm, he shuts his eyes.
Tears release. Life moves...
absence, blue, light, loss,
My tear-swollen eyes have lost their light for
the light of mine chose to leave;
to depart from this world....
INNOCENCE - - Kimo
longing, loss, love,
Innocence, still lingering in first love,
unable to acknowledge
the emptiness of time.

In Praise of a Kimo – Poetry Contest
From when I lost you, and drove you away.
The gnawing guilt and regret,
I would love to forget.
For the "What you would like to forget" contest...
depression, life, loss, sad,
Shadows hide what face-paint could not erase
Pain shown all over her face
Sadness erupts inside
Seeing what she truly looks like brings fear
Tears flow as mirrors crash...
allegory, loss, political, science,
I saw a tree like a mushroom blooming
Producing awesome power
An infertile wasteland

She came to me, hurt me, and destroyed me
She trampled on my soul
Entrant into Paula Swanson's "Trample" contest
A Suffering Soul
My soul’s reamed hatefully inside and out
By timeless instigators
The suffering intense
Once I Was
Darkening clouds approach, pending consume
Existing days appear less
I'm outside, once inside
holiday, life, loss,
A wreath is laid upon each soldier's grave
Christmas time at Arlington
A tribute to the brave

Flight of Dire Loss
I flew the stubborn plane, in confusion
The craziness comes with it
I flew away again
Break and Burn
Crack your fingers if you will, destroy bone
Sound disturbingly travels
From knuckle to eardrum
Just like fire that melts iron, smoldering
Burns the skin, blackens the soul
