Waking to the sadness called “a new day”
truth passes over the mind
love one just cannot find
Hiding the undercurrent of a sigh
the heart refuses to breathe
and stays melancholy
Sleeping in the shadows of lonely nights
dreams foretell of future loss
bid barefoot wanderings
