Jumper Cables

Jumper Cables
Need a jolt
Be inspired
Dig deep
With no complaining
Past the test
Get ready for a new door
Journey endeavor
Stay focused
With high hopes
Dream big
Be open minded
Reach for your goals
Need more coffee on the go
Double shot of expresso
Be a game changer
Go beyond the naysayers
You owe it to yourself
Another uplifting letter
Stand on the promise
Move mountains
Need a break-through
Be a peace maker
Encourage others
Molded into the new you
Carry the weight of others
Better to give then to receive
Be the bigger person
Need jumper cables to get things done

Premium MemberI Used To Be A Jumper In My Doc Marten Boots

I used to jump from aeroplanes
Naked
With nothing
But a parachute
A prayer
And a pair of Doc Marten boots

I've landed in some strange places
Once in a chair
Once or twice in the mud
A Woman once
I said will you?
She said no!
But she meant yes
I guess?
One time I fell through a roof
And landed in someone's bed!
The husband wasn't very pleased
I can't repeat what he said
But I learned a few new words

Once I fell into a hole
Then I realised someone had died
I couldn't wait to get out
As shouted'',Help!!!!''.
I fell in a well
Well that's another story
To tell
I even landed in a stolen car
But I didn't get far
I once dropped into a giant cooking pot ouch!!
Boy, it was hot!

One time in a church
The Vicar said ''Do you''?
I said I do
Two sugars no milk, please

I was awarded a medal, with a pin
But it gave me an infection
And ended up in a hospital bed
Got really ill and had to stay in
I had to stop parachuting
But I still have my Doc Marten boots
Don't dare tell you where I hanged them from
Ahh, life's full of surprises
I think, I'll buy a Army tank
See where that gets me.

Premium MemberTo everything there is a season

The moonbroch is quite pronounced tonight—rain can’t be far off. It will be good for the vegetable garden and save my back from having to cart water for a few days. Not too much rain, though, as the skins of the tomatoes would split; they are about to be harvested ...
in their prime
   full and promising
             under limpid sky
threadbare jumper

Premium MemberPuddle Jumper

I must be getting older now;
not always fond of walking in the rain.
I used to love to puddle jump;
only my youngest knew me not insane.
In pouring rain, we’d run the trails,
find all the largest water spots to stomp.
We’d giggle when we spied a hole,
and race to see who’d be the first to romp.
These days, I still go out at times;
my Missy needs her breaks in the outdoors.
But when it rains, she’s only there
to find relief and not a moment more.
Still, there are days when I revert
to habits from my youthful days of old;
Stroll through the wood, so clean and fresh,
too overwhelmed by beauty to be cold.
Besides, a towel, a cuppa joe,
the world is back to “normal” once again,
But just before I come inside,
I splash that one last puddle with a grin.

Premium MemberShall I Make You a Jumper

The tartan plaids are passé’, the new young hip fabric designer said.
She brought out the bolts of her new fall line and I gasped with joy.
I had never seen such beauty on a plain brown background of wool.
I reached to stroke the material, loving the oranges, pinks and yellows.
This is so gorgeous! I told her. I am delighted with it! I love it; LOVE IT!
She was pleased. Shall I make you a jumper?
No thanks, I reluctantly told her. I am allergic to wool.
My fingers began turning red.

The Jumper

On a twelve inch ledge
On the twenty-seventh floor
He tried to sort out his life.

From his high school days
Through his college days
To the woman he called his wife.

His dreams had been many
But his prospects were few,
Life was at best second rate,

His dreams died away
As his prospects grew worse,
He resigned himself to his fate.

A crowd gathered round
To stare up at the man,
They held their collective breath,

He spread out his arms
Reached up for the sky
Then plummeted down to his death.

Premium MemberI Am a Listener and a Jumper

Leftie I was and leftie I be.
I never watch stupidity on reality TV
Except Married at First Sight
Which gives me delight
I am a hippie, a gypsy, a faerie, I flee….
From those who have absolute ideas, for they frighten me.

My ideas are flexible,
I am a listener, and a jumper.
I jump from this to that easily,
Fearful of the thumpers and stumpers.
I am the most liberal liberal I know, and I know many for sure
I have over fifteen hundred Facebook followers, so eclectic and pure.

I run from those who want me to believe in their ways
I follow my heart, and my spirit guides, dancing through my days.
My spirit animals are there, I am open to empaths galore.
They are my kind of people.
Absolutists I abhor.
I do not hate anyone, or want anyone to have any harm.
Love is the key I think, it is part of my charm.

Jumper

i take a deep breath
bliss as i jump off a high ledge

im flying
im floating

falling through the air
angels try to catch me by my hair
i look like a dolly falling from the air

you don't really know me
but i've finally jumped
im free

Premium MemberA Lump In My Jumper

A very sexy lady once took me aside
Patted me on my enormous backside
Said, lose some pounds
And we'll go a few rounds
But the lump in my jumper committed suicide

Not the Reverse Long Jumper

There's no one else
not even myself
creep love
into sunlight
as hate watches it leave
Spoon feed hope
on hunger strike
knowing he can't
have long
Selling souls
to belong
Take these words
Thee sword
With E seed
contort
Always short of short
Follow without support
A rap with a port
or are you under
standing underneath the feet
of giants
wearing Hatters cap
Cheshire on my lap
sipping on an app

Premium MemberSpiraling Down Into the Garden Dismembered Paratroop Jumper

Plummeting down rascally Falls
Cowering tumbling forward swirls
Down falling down falling down
Powering Crescent trapped in the spiral graphic flaws
Falling plummeting down falling
Falling to the ground
I am forward bound
Caution yet read
By the following cut sounds
Sounds of the sparring Robins Twittering sparrows chirps
He's fallen
He's fallen and he can't get up
All Fall Down I to the beckoning Earth
While in the garden rabbits eat the raw Cabbage
Squirrels eat nibble scribble fluorescent Greenery treats
Why eat nuts
Something funny about this paratrooper
Aspiring meaning falling down into primatene space
What??
Heading toward the Earth
Plummeting down Falling Towards the hard ground
Plummeting down spiraling spinning out of control
Hollering struggling tumbling spinning he falls
What matters does matter as he decides to releases parachute
Don't be so disheartened Halo coming
Lying amongst the rabbits and squirrel in the garden
Is the aspiring falling dismembered parachute jumper

Jumper

Look at them !
The jumpers!
could be you or me !
911 the nightmare and now more people!
Jumping out of a burning building in Bangladesh 29/03/19

OK lets go jumpers !

Lazy just another day at work
                      But 90 Floors up
together with her for lunch
                      now is my time
my lovely dreamt of beautiful girl
                      no time to ask why
given time I will give her everything
from the blue sky a death
such dreams and plans I have for tomorrow
dreams and everything now just as dust

PS tick for love but we need a tick for wistfulness ?

Premium MemberA Jumper of Love - Thank You Jean

What do I say to this
How to find words?
I don't have them,
nor do I have rhyme
It all eludes me
suddenly

Sometimes a friend
enters your heart
with so much force
that all locked doors
and closed windows
Swing open
And let sunshine in

Jean, I cannot express
what this means to me
I wish I could show
you my face right now
But I cannot.
But can I say please:
Thank you
and
Love you?
 :)
With tears

Jumper

Judiciously I pick
just the right colours.
Judging by the size of
Jeanie my cute grandchild.
Joy to knit for her in
January chills a
jumper warm as this one.
