as life happens we react
then sense consciousness contract
which is good because we learn
to overcome ego’s burn

though life seems like a circus
we are here for a purpose
and when love’s flame is steady
to meet God we are ready

Premium MemberDecrypting the code

Who pens the words we express,
displaying state of undress,
of pure heart’s childlike intent,
in vibrational descent?

From the tranquil stillness point,
the light of Self does anoint,
our pulsating, vibrant heart,
to create a work of art.

Vibes interpreted by mind,
which is with our soul aligned,
conjures then a gentle breeze,
penning love poems with ease.

Night and the Door

“Enigma enamels the doors of the night.”
               - Quote by Poet

The night opens the door
The soul walks through it
Time doesn’t outrun
Nothing else to grey

The soul is summoned
The unseen calls out
There’s a gentle ease
Grief pervades the room

The night’s work is deep
It spins mystery
It seeks and searches
Its cry separates

The body retreats
The soul goes beyond
The threshold is crossed
It’s beyond a dream

Premium MemberHope At Work

Hope radiates future glow
Assuring well blessings’ flow
Poured from God as supply source
To do best midst gracious force.

With hope of welcoming mirth
Hearts claim faith-assuring worth
To conquer idleness’ strain
Championing discipline’s gain.

As hope constantly prevails
Along trust that never fails
Hard work rests on divine might
With favor of service light.

Anticipating great hope*
Drives steps toward wider scope
Soaring for victory’s crest
Of sharing and loving zest.

*Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began.

How True Love Works

Cute is love when new,
how wishes go true,
but only when last,
it gives awesome blast.

Smooth it runs at start,
so much fun an art,
but rough time defines
beauty, check assigns.

Fast fun fetch fierce fire.
date drills dot's desire.
back best bed's battle-
pokes pleasing prattle...

Lone mind's sigh, inquire;
dreaming hearts require
sweet continuity:
willing congruity.

That would work with two
worlds of different view,
yet would become one-
fight battles undone...

Till indifference curves
out, genuine care's nerves,
to feeling concerned:
aid, purely unearned.

Greatness greets giants' growth,
boundless bliss bless both,
years yields young yes, yet
risks reinforce reset.

Trust now find its place,
without trouble's trace-
cement a long stay
to never decay.

How hope's height hasten...
clear cruel cane chasten
long lasting love's life.
rent relief, rich rife.

How may we redress,
feelings we repress,
shrivelling our soul,
now blackened like coal?

Shortcuts do not work,
so let us not shirk,
cleansing of our heart,
which is where we start.

In thought, word and deed,
ferality weed,
all desires disrobe,
watching each fear strobe.

Stillness shows the way,
how we cease to sway,
to lower cravings,
as love grows it’s wings.

Premium MemberGranddaughter

It fills my heart with lots of love,
to watch you grow my little dove
Even after all this time
I am yours, and you are mine.

Your laughter brings me happiness
when life can be so full of stress.
For in my heart, you'll always be,
the one that is so close to me.

It does not matter where we are
It seems you're near, although you're far
And when I'm back in touch with you
You chase away those lonely blues

I try to see things through your eyes
How ordinary things surprise
And how I view these things a new
When I sit and gaze at you

How the time seems to fly,
the years just seem to tick on by.
Each year you age a little more,
and your wings grow, so you can soar.

Memories are important dear,
and life is never crystal clear.
As long as I know you'll be okay,
the sun will shine just one more day.

This was a Collab between myself and Jerry T. Curtis.
I just wanted to thank him for all his awesome work on this piece. I hope you all enjoy it, as much as we did writing it.

Day In, Day Out

Red sun wake up from night's bed
Wash and lit up his bright head
When will he gets an off day?
Day in, day out he works dead.

Premium MemberDivine Pleasure

Nourished with God’s bounty
I enjoy divine pleasure*
Poised with spiritual beauty
Marked by heavenly treasure.

Good works’ faith-prosperity
Midst Scripture truth’s enclosure
Fulfilling servant-duty
By God’s might without measure.

*2Thessalonians 1:11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power.

Premium MemberPrecious Life Worth Spending

Ransomed from sin’s debt, I’m freed
Paid by Saviour’s blood indeed
Willing to be spent with grace
My precious life gives Him praise.

Striving to live through faith’s creed
Propelled by God’s mighty deed
I abound* in good works’ ways
Optimizing wondrous days.

*1Corinthians 15:58 …Be ye…, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Continue in God's work well
His wondrous mercy-deeds --- tell...
Keep on serving steadfastly
By His grace poured constantly.

Minister around love's scope
Give the Lord's blessings of hope...
Oh, be not weary to share
Build lives upon Christ's great care.

*1Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
