Your only given so long to live
why live for yourself
show the world how you can give
be the start
some will follow
then maybe the world wont seem so dark and hollow
I see
I see that kid in the corner of the orphanage with that pesky cleft lip that nobody
wants to call theirs.
I see his hope.
His sorrow.
His hatred.
I see
I see that poor woman down the street with that abusive husband that she never
tells anyone about.
I see her wishfulness.
Her cuts and bruises.
Her fear.
I see
I see that sad tree in the tropics with that blood-red X splashed across it waiting to
be cut down.
I see it's lost future.
It's homeless would've-been residents.
It's weakness.
I see
I see a world that needs to open their eyes. A world that has the choice to make a
difference but chooses poorly.
I see it's weakness and it's strength.
I see it's past and it's future.
I see it's healthy and it's ill.
But most of all,
I see it's problem and it's solution.
As I sit here to write at Strawberry Fields
The peace in my heart starts to feel real
The world and the noise seem to vanish away
The clouds start to part as I feel the sun’s rays.
I think of imagining a world with no fear
For a brief moment I just shed a tear
I was just brought up that men don’t cry
When you don’t feel the hurt, you begin to die.
What would happen if we could all get along?
With peace in our hearts love would grow strong
Put down our differences and see what is the same
Get off the sidelines and simply return to the game.
Hope and Faith collide tearing us apart
Take a look inside, feel it with your heart
Change is hard but the alternative is worse
Tine to change the rules and set another course.
I remember why I come here it fills me with hope
As the carrot dangles before us, hanging from a rope
The choices that we make shall determine who we are
Maybe the distance to a better world is never too far.
Everyone must answer to the voice they hear inside
You can’t just jump onboard to go along for the ride
Freedom and peace come with a pretty hefty price
The opportunity is before us, you just need to grab a slice.
Don’t worry to much the stress will kill you
Just open yourself and let it all pass through
Don’t let a pebble turn into a boulder
Let the turmoil slip away from your shoulder
This world is always playing tricks on me
So I’m just going to laugh and not take it seriously
Let the anxiety become a total stranger
Stand up for yourself but stay clear of danger
Don’t ever make the same mistake twice
Go after the one you love no matter what the price

Don’t be nervous and keep your emotions bottled up inside
Stand tall and live in your own pride
Work hard but play harder so tension doesn’t take its toll
Pray to God everyday to free your soul

I have that wish in my heart
many of you must have the same,
a disease free healthy world
forget all those cursed names.
Many of you must have the same
a dream of disease free world,

let that joyful world unfurled.
A dream of disease free world
where people love to live,

where everyone is ever active.
Where people love to live
children forget curse of pain,
where everyone is ever active
no disease to drive insane.

old age ceases to be a problem,

everybody a winner in life's game.

I have that wish in my heart.

When love talks it speaks with beauty
And when it wishes to take action the world shall change
Among all the stars in the universe and the galaxies a like
Beauty captures each
It teaches to speak in calm words
Refusing to fight
The light that you see when you hit rock bottom
A tall tree in a barren land
Carrying away grains of sand and returning soil
It is creation
Royal as any blood line
It is found within
The darkest tunnels
And most evil hearts
You decide when this action is to start
Shaking the world with an iron fist
It clears away the mist
That shrouds us all
It makes a blanket to capture the ones who fall
True love happens however small
You make the choice and your soul carries action
Fractions of scars are all mended
And its the strongest force that is given
Love braces the world for the gravest storms
And it is to appear to you in what ever form
A girl to be the finest jewel
And a man to refurbish it with a tool
he makes the girl refined with love And disturbing to beauty
The power in us all is instrumental
And it all starts with the choice of love
Two thousand years ago a man was born
Raised, and praised.
Little did anyone see- that he would
Change mans history.
Many miracles were created while he lived
To this world he had so much to give.
Miracles still happen to this day
And to him we do pray.
Little miracles here and there
That with the world we do share.
A person who walked away from a car on fire
Only thing left was a burning tire.
An abandoned newborn found on a frozen street
How he survived without any heat.
A single engine plane crashed into the ground
Two hundred feet away the pilot is found.
9/11 was a disastrous day
But we had people who had walked away.
People buried in a caved in mine
All were found and are doing fine.
These are the miracles of which I speak
They may not have been of astounding feats.
Unlike the parting of the waters
Where the Jews walked through in an uncivil disorder.
All of them were shedding some tears
But GOD wiped away all their fears.
In every country in the world
There are miracles happening every day.
Is it GODS hand? Who is to say !
But with FAITH, LOVE , and HOPE
People accept it and learn to cope.
One night not too long ago before I went to bed
I got down on my knees to pray and then I bowed my head
I said "Lord I just don't understand some things that have been done
I thought when You died for us the victory had been won
It seems each time I turn around there's tragedy again
Some people say You are mad because of all our sins
On that bright September day when the world came to a hault
Everybody started praying instead of finding fault
Was this event planned by You to bring us to our knees
Was this You way of saying 'Wake up and trust in Me'"
I listened very quietly and then I heard Him say
"I understand the way you feel but on that dreadful day
When all the world was crying I was crying too
I can't make somebody do something they don't want to do
Each person I breathe life into I give them all free will
Sadly there are those who think their purpose is to kill
Whenever you start feeling you're about to loose control
Remember I your Father am the guardian of your soul
I have a place prepared for you; before too long you'll see
I can't wait until the day you come and live with Me!"
Who are you, what do you believe in?
Its not about your future or where you've been.
Its about the present and your actions now.
To stand up and take this unprecedented vow.
I want to put a stop to this color war.
Hasn't enough blood been spilled before.
I don't know what everyone else is seeing,
but under everything its just another human being.
We are capable of great things like exploring outer space,
but how about we come down and look at the human race.
We need to stand up and speak in one voice,
that this isn't acceptable and you will know my choice.
This world has bigger problems than a petty dislike.
Let the world know we will not go quietly into the night.
We will no longer allow this mindless schism.
So we will stand up as one and put an end to racism.
From The Other Side

I was talking to a friend, 'bout things that I've tried,
Then he surprised me, said to try the other side!
I asked what he meant, how can I do that?
He asked me if the World is flat!
"Of course not, I've seen pictures from Space!"
With that, a smile spread 'cross his face!
Likely thousands of years, everyone thought the same,
The World is flat, the name of their game!
Because everyone thinks it, won't make it true,
Find a better way to do things, a way that works for you!
We are often scolded to not try to reinvent the wheel,
Why not, if you have a better design, you feel?
Most all inventors that design something that ROCKS,
Did it by thinking outside the box!
Or, unlike the sheep mentality my friend decried,
Look at a problem From The Other Side!
Over this Christmas season
your love has meant the world to me
-your kindness and your laughter
and the kids
with their smiles to share...
you've made my whole year special
and opened my heart up to see
what a wonderful world it is that I live in
what a wonderful time to be
if I could have had my own kids
for sure they would have been you
so loving
so special
so deeply embuded with a shining light
that surrounds me and you.
How great is thy name
The one who will always reign
At the word of your command
You made the heaven and land
Everything goes according to your plan
How great is thy Love
You sent your son from above
To show and tell of your love
He is the greatest this world will see
And came to set us free
He gave the world light
Leading us to you with all might
You watched him suffer and die
A criminals death
And then rose him filling
Him with your eternal breath
To sit in honor at your right hand side
And being the most wonderful guide
Comforting us in these wicked times
Many things will come and go
Like the fog in the morning
But your word and your name
Will always remain
Arise
Arise all you sleepers awake
Open your eyes for your souls sake
While the love of the world grows cold
Lord fill us with thy spirit to stand bold
While I am young but yet this world makes me feel old
You are the cornerstone of the construction
While I see many headed to destruction
Lord I stay focused on you
As you guide and pull me through
While keeping my mind free and clear
And banishing thy fear
In this evil world you relieve thy pain
And wipe away all trails of rain
I turn to you while you bring comfort and peace
For you have already defeated the beast
As you teach to watch out for others yeast
May your will be done here on earth
As we turn to you to receive new birth
While leaving the world delights
As our feet follow your light
Gliding swiftly eager to unite
Many Falling
I look to the left
Then I look to the right
And its hard to distinguish
Weather its day or night
In this dark world I search for light
To guide giving sight
I see kids faces full of fright
As the world begins
To say things that are wrong are right
Through the view of the world
I see many falling
But you never give up
As you are always calling
Walking by each and every side
Saying my child listen while I guide
Come to me for comfort in these times
I know your every need
Let me live through you
As we work together to plant seeds
Sprouting a new harvest feeding with your word to grow
As your love withing begins to show
Lord I see many signs taking place
As you said would happen in the race
As we come to you for comfort and embrace
Now this light begins to shine
Giving light to see the way
And when we unite can say Father this child is mine
As I pray to grow near, not astray
Many times its easy to judge others behavior
But seems we should strive to reflect our savior
Change things in your life
And the world around you that survive
And search within for the strength to try
And save your soul from pang's cry
Just know the power of a shared laugh
It surely divides your burden in half
And gives you a fresh chance to enjoy
All life's happiness and endless joy
And know that magical encounter of a smile
Will help you to cover infinite miles
The infinite miles of childhood dreams
That is as soft as a healing cream
And this is an enlightening journey for you
That you can surely enjoy its hue
And discover the power of a smile
That will help you to cover infinite miles
And take you deep down in the day
Where you'll enjoy in every way
And will change things in your life
And the world around you that survive.
