Dunno

gently
before me

on a desk, or a table
rests the means to enable
me to craft a new fable
to run and leap like the sable
a squirrel scampering upon a gable

to perch on high

level with the treetops
even with the dew drops
before they appear on leaves and grass
and as the moments pass
above the uncouth, the crass, with aplomb and class

to perch on high

not a computer, monitor, or screen
but a single piece of white paper, pristine, clean
and a pencil, or a pen
this is one of my favorite things, always available again
for me to clutter up with poetry, it's a religeous experience, maybe a sin

to perch on high, and then, to fly

above this work of still life, a pregnant moment, this glory
how do i get across to a mere animal like many of we
the potential, the opportunity, the act of creation
the pantheon of art, intellect, and creativity, the nearly divine relation
of a pencil, or pen, and one single piece of paper, the correlation

of inspiration, asperation, imagination, an elations flirtation

with all of creation, and even with the Creater, all the world and history
all possible, sometimes, probable, once in a while, we'll get to Be,
creatively

this mere human being, this mammal, this fallable and maelable man
may one day be as close to God, as, say, a squirrel, a sable, a dog or a cat
created as perfect as God intended, then staying that way
us? this world is sick and evil, faded, jaded, and peopled with egos based
entirely on waste, differences of taste
being better than, largely by plan, and lies, by intention and ignorance, like flies

i was perched on high, minutes ago, almost
(computers, phah!)

there is a certain amount of gratification in crumbling up a piece of paper
when faced with the fact, that what i've created is trash

getting another one
setting it down
setting a pencil or pen on it
and starting over. perfectly. gently. what is that moment?

to fly

perfection, and me, trying to be, to become, to create,
really, it seems everything i write or draw is a waste of time
it was perfect before i picked up the pen, now look what i've done!

delete?
phah! can you think of a title, a word that defines the moment described?

p.s. i am ussually surrounded by malevolent cretins, nobody on this site is a mere animal,
my apologies if you are!

Premium Member We Rage

“Let your light shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father
in heaven”

There is an eternal sight that lights the lives of men,
She is wondrous, full of rage and fury.
And with this turning of her page,
We stand at a crossroads of schizophrenic reckoning,
Of men and women great, vying for the mind of an era.
But to none I trust my fate,
For there is only one who can ignite me,
There is an eternal right that fights for all to see,
And in his gentle ferocity he knows the darkness that torments.
Some time ago, I was in a fallen mission,
And I knew a man whose light shined brilliant like my youngest daughter's gaze,
He died of Aids,
But let it be known, he raged.
I know a woman who lost her house, and back, and legs, and almost lost her soul as well,
But we prayed, and now she cries with tears of peace amazed,
Let it be known she raged.
I knew a racist spinster who gave my daughter diapers so that I could keep my lights on,
She died in bitter pain but not alone, for there is breathe that will not cease to breath,
It chooses whom it will to see the Son and so believe.
Some time ago, I thought that God would choose some souls for eternal flame,
And I raged on buses and trains trying to save who I could,
And when I came to see God’s love as I should,
I despised the shame, for still I raged.
I tell you, I’ve been wrong so many times, I scarcely know what's right,
But in blind sight I know this much,
That all of us will know his touch,
And together as one, the lot of us,
Will fight for a world with joy ablaze,
And when our salt has savored an age,
Then the world will know beauty.
But in the mean time,
We walk a line, between suicide and self worship.
Self Control and Paralysis,
Selfishness and Common Sense,
Service and masochism,
Fear and presumption,
We almost walk in darkness all together fearing the cross that saves us,
But in the end we shall say to that cross,
Come forth and take us for your fear no longer rules me!
For foolish things confound the wise,
And no price is too high so all might rise,
And we walk in the footsteps of a King from on high,
Who even death could not conquer,
And because he raged,
I rage,
We rage,
And when our salt has savored an age,
The world will know beauty.

Mad Scientist of Poetry

It's hard to breathe-poor respiration
Stomach hurt due to a combination
Of starvation and constipation
I feel like bad inflation
I need deflation
Get me a doctor to perform the operation
To make it in this world its mad desperation
I refuse to make adaptation to nonsense and instigation
I'm so sweaty more wet than condensation
Precipitation
Evaporation
Body so glossy it's like anatomy lamination
So I dry off like fabrication
I wish I was make-believe like animation
My own choice my own obligation
First start with an observation
Then evaluation
A problem in the atmoshere? Bad radiation
In 360 circulation
Earth's manipulation
Creates a bad situation
For the population
To feel a bad sensation
Like planet domination
Due to poor human reputation
The ultimate retaliation
Is Revelation
...As the #1 selection
Regardless of complexion
Object of every girl's affection
Lookin for the best connection
As a correction
From going in the wrong to right direction
It's like an infection
I want success so bad I get an ********...
In addition
To my subscription
To a perscription
To my addiction
Of the worst possible condition
Avoid the infliction
And affliction
Of pain of a titanic description
So I jail my anger with no jurisdiction
But I still face conviction
For kickin the automobile of anarchy into ignition
Can it lead me to a contradiction
Or a mental restriction
While I sleep I have recognition
I'm not the disease but the cure or is that a premonition
Or Gods intuition...
This is literal
Critical
And pitiful...
Beware we are almost at the completion
Of Earth's depletion
It's no secretion...
Could it be distinction
Or extinction...
From gov't corruption
To volcanic eruption
We are the production
Too late for interruption...
Any confession
Any suggestion
If you want to end the world here's the succession...
In conclusion
This is purely retribution
For distribution
Of pollution
No illusion
No confusion
No dillusion
Just an intrusion
Erase the constitution...
There's no prevention
Of the redemption...

The Spirits That Be

Oh Great Spirits that be
How hard you been working on me
Such a comfort when one is hurting
Yet also at times such a burden
All the work yet to be done
Looking to you for that setting sun

Spirits to guide us along the way
And then let us know it's time to end the day
Simple life. Simple mind
But the open absorbing kind
How you've wished they all knew that call
How the Spirit world has a hold of us all

Open eyes that can't help but see
What the Spirit world has in store for thee
Can see the strong and feel the weak
All along begging for the wisdom to know when to speak
Can hear the whispers all around
And it does no good to try and stand my ground

Most times looking crazy for knowing
Too much of the Spirit world and it's comings and goings
Wretched sometimes the things to have aware
Worse when no one else seems to care
But somehow the Spirits keep working around
The many brick walls in the path that get thrown down

Along the way by and by
It was no longer my business to question why
Teach, heal, speak out they keep telling me
Until the last breath and you can no longer breath
Try to go on beleiving we have some sort of control
But still searching for that peace deep down in our souls

How it happens or why it matters not
Once the Spirits that be have found that spot
Best listen and heed the Spirits that be
Already tried running thinking I'd be free
But somehow they always catch up to you and I
Creeping right straight to that inward eye

Now I know I'm crazy but haven't lost my mind
Acceptance gives a peaceful feeling that's kind
And it matters not what burdens we're chosen to bear
Once all's said and done and we're off to somewhere
Only then will we begin to start
The passage that matters and leads straight to the heart

In the midst to feel no kind of pain
Never to know suffering or hurt once again
Try so hard to rise above it all
The Spirits that be and answer the call
When I'm weak and all seems so wrong
How they come to sing me yet another song

The Legend

You are almost forgotten
The brightest star is about to dimmed
When all about you are like a hearsay tale
Hiding from the world which seems unfair

Then all of a sudden you come into the surface again
Bring sensation; bring rendezvous to many people,
How much they have missed you, cannot wait to see you moved
But then in a day, all lights went out for you
Leaving the world without saying goodbye
Tears and tears fall from the loving
Flowers fall; salutes utters; grieving after
God loves you too much so He took you faster than you ever wished
It’s another way for us to understand life
How much a good person being missed when he left the world with compassion

You are one of them
People who are born with charisma
Enchanting the world with your gift
God blessed you with definite charm most people don’t

You are a part of history
All time people will always talking about you
Admiring you, remembering you, inspired by you
Though some will discriminate you
Misjudging you for your peculiar adventures
But you are still going to be the one,
No one can put at the same level as you
You are a part of history

When people said you have the bizarre of life
They just don’t understand what’s inside your heart
Though people think that you are out of the ordinary
You know exactly how to draw your love to the world
They just don’t understand how much you love the world

In your words I frequently hear loneliness
You wished to find love but all you got is another loneliness
No matter how much pain inside you can hide it with a smile
A smile that you always believed could bring happiness then misery
You who never wished to grow old and always wanted the beauty of life
You will always shine in this life; in millions of people’s heart
For you are a part of history
Your legacy to the world
The legend

You'Ll Never Win Being Satisfied In Sin

You'll never win being satisfied in sin.

If you don't want to win, I suggest

Strongly that you do it, do it, do it

'Til you're satisfied whatever it is.

Sin is sin it's all ugly in the sight of God.

So don't become self-righteous, point,

And shout out hee- hee when someone

Elses sin is displayed visibly. You'll never

Win soon your secret sin will be out

There on the hot block and hee- heeing

At you people won't stop. Sin is hard to

Stop being satisfied in but I know who

Helps: God. He did something odd in

Order to save us from it. He impregnated,

A virgin via the Holy Spirit so with sin,

The world will stop being satisified in it.

She was mistreated by the innkeeper

Because He had no earthly idea that

Her child was a keeper because he

Saw only what was on the inside but

God and others knew who this child

Was and many men traveled without

A car by the light of the little superstar.

Then this little child began performing

Miracles the first one performed at

A wedding but did not stop there.

He lived as a human without sin

And the world punished Him by

Crucifying Him. He died for our sins

Because He and the Father was

Not satisfied with it in men. He

Loved the world but the world

Did not love him because many

Could not see the star because

He did not come here rich. He

Came here at being the lowest

Of the low in the eyes of humans

But in His Father's eyes He was

Working with something fa show.

He came to let the world know

That you'll never win being satisfied

In sin. It won't work now and it

Didn't work then.

Planting Life

The threshold waits before you
the garden waits beyond;
what you plant is what you'll reap
when seasons have moved on.

When springtime fades to summer
and summer fades to fall
and winter's white hair slumbers
bringing chills to root and all.

What will you have planted there
beneath the blanket of your life?
Will you have you grown your happiness
to fullest, grandest height?

While planting in that garden,
don't forget how things can grow;
the hollyhocks along the fence
won't stay in a straight row.

The daffodils will wander
and the weeds will come to call;
the dandelions running wild
will come to crash where they might fall.

Be careful of how much you plant
into the earth that you must tend
'cause everything needs room to grow
and you'll at times need time to mend.

Don't lock the gates and let the briars
climb the bars and block your view
The world has liars and thieves
but gates turn out the honest too.

The best intent sometimes won't be enough,
some things will die despite your work.
Instead of tending "might have been"
you pour your heart back into the dirt.

And if you look too closely at each plant
the world will only look quite small;
and if you often say that you can not
then nothing becomes... naught at all

All that lives knows joy and hurt
and all that's strong must sometimes bend
and everything needs sun and rain,
it doesn't mean your dreams must end.

No matter how old you become
your plants will never become stone;
they grow with you and will welcome,
the way you've changed... they way you've grown.

St. John 1:1 Logo (Word = Jesus)
In the beginning was the Word
And the Word was with God

and the darkness comprehended it not

1:10 (Jesus) He was in the world

to become the sons of God
even to them that believe on His Name...

1:13 Which were born..
not of blood..
nor of the will of the flesh
nor of the will of man...
but of God
