There is a type of Veil
That's between us and God {Veil of Sin}
But whosoever becomes Born-again
Will be Cleansed from with-in!
Then they'll want to Follow Jesus Christ
Then they'll Receive a New Life
Free to be with Him For Eternity
Jesus is the Only One
Who can Remove the Veil
When Mankind fell, then came the Veil of Sin
It's Like we've all been in a jail
With bars across our cells
When Jesus went to the Cross
The Sinful bars, We're Tossed away
Then Jesus showed us how to Pray
Pray the Prayer of Salvation! For all Creation!
Whosoever Prays that Prayer, then Repents
Will cut the snare of sin entrapment!
Then will be able to be with Our Lord
Our Savior Jesus Christ for Eternity
Our Father
Almighty King above
Give to us your faithful servants
Give to us your love
Holy Lord
Hallowed be thy name
Touch us with your loving hands
Our lives will never be the same
Heavenly Savior
Thy will be surely done
Give to us your shining light
Shining brighter than the sun
Forgiving God
Redeem us from our sins
Give to us your salvation
And everlasting life that comes from deep within
Let our faith
Guide us all to believe
With you here by my side
There is nothing I cannot achieve
This is my prayer to you
In hopes you here my voice
No that you are to me my Lord
My one and only choice
The End
By Greg P
Someone told me today I should write about spring
The promise of new life and the peace that it brings
I stand by the window and the birds start to sing
Thank you God it felt like a prayer on a wing.
Flowers pop up to receive rays from the sun
The beauty they bring not knowing what they've done
The blossoms open up it makes me feel so alive
They made it through winter and continue to thrive.
The birds build nests to continue the renewal of life
Pain melts with the sun and with it goes the strife
Soon they will have many mouths to feed
It's all very simple first you plant the seed.
Life just resonates without making a sound
While the leaves return, the green grass to the ground
Then there is love and what my heart's has found
Winter has departed and the days of light are abound.
Hope arrives not a moment too late
It's hand in hand coming down the aisle with fate
I awake this day with the promise of tomorrow
The spring sun has melted all of the sorrow...
A PRAYER TO DESTINY
My destiny,
My ever present,
Invisible,
Yet invincible companion.
Wings like an eagle
I ask of you to give me.
So, above mount of haze
And beyond the cloudy sky
I could soar and nestle.
In the vale of haze
For a steep I ask of you,
To a plane higher than
The baleful eyes of haze.
My feet, my destiny
I implore you to hasten.
In the midst of gale of cruel
Fate, to a tranquil plane of
Harmonious solemnity with
My heyday.
From the saturnine vale
My destiny.
For rescue, to you I look.
My heyday, eclipse from the
Dazzling ray of vague fate
The death knell of cruel fate
I implore you to sound.
From the knit of fabric
Of futility unravel me,
And from the shock of blow
Of bleakness absorb my fabric.
Till my heyday
And till doomsday.
Amen.

Come to Jesus
A rose fell to
the ground,
he slowly picked
it up and took it
home to his
dying little girl,
as she took the
rose from him,
she told him this
oh daddy, just before
you came home I asked
Jesus if I could smell
a rose just one more
time before I died,
now my prayer has
been granted to me
and now I can go home
with Him this very
night.

Remember the flood that covered the earth
Before the rain had ever fell
Now imagine the faith that Noah had
As he prepared God's Boat to sail
Or Abraham's sacrifice of his only son
As he offered up Isaac that day
Did he know that God would provide the Lamb
And His Love would find a way
And then there's Daniel in the lion's den
Whose prayer touched Heaven's Throne
Or Stephen whose faith opened the gates of pearl
As they cast that life-ending stone
Faith the size of a mustard seed
Is all that's ever required
The examples that these have left behind
Such faith is truly inspired
good morning
a prayer to god
the tensions of what's in store
the eyes that inspires
wake up and cover the world with your beauty
no slacking now
a tired eyes, never sleeps, or gives esscuses
wake up
feel the sunlight as it hits the earth in the pattern of life
the rotation and repetitive life of obstacles
wake up and breathe the life of scented life
enjoy it, because one day you will awake cold, and a stranger to your grave
helpless, and thirsty to wake up in the land of dreams. or nightmare
choose as you wish, a wish equals the vocals of actions
replace the actions, and you will see the scripted verses of of gods plan: sketched between
need and desire
The offering of prayer and supplication to
Most holy and well known saints
Who beyond mortal life, still touch
The lives of those who believe
And seek a miracle of sorts
In desperate situations
Plead for divine intervention
As candles blessed, lit in
Reverence of God’s holy presence
To all our men and woman,
from the rich to wearing rags.
The ones who fight for freedom,
and honor our great flag.
God bless you and we thank you,
where ever you may roam.
At night I say a prayer for you,
so you all will make it home.
At times it gets real lonely,
I know how scared you get.
For I have served my country,
I am a VietNam vet.
May God travel with you,
and keep you safe in ranks.
I will send you all a prayer,
along with all my thanks.
Please send them a letter,
I know it helps them through.
They do it for our country,
the red, white and the blue.

We see his parents in the stands
As they sit tensely clasping hands
In silent prayer for their loved son
And for the task that must be done.
Another recalls small girl she knew
Who early showed the skill that grew,
With hard work and determination,
Into a gift for her loved nation.
Their small boy turned into the man
Who is this tall Olympian.
Spotlighted as the whole world watches
This daughter who is winning matches.
With medals won and more to go,
Speed records fall, they're much too slow.
Favorites competing in the races,
Fall back as others take their places.
The winter games of twenty-ten
Are turning children into men
And women who with their skill and grace
Are winners in the human race.
The storm threshes the forest
Limbs and branches are broken
And I, alone in my emptiness
Search for your love's kind token
By standing still
The billows toss behemoth tides
The waves around me heighten
Mast or lighthouse, nothing abides
All that can be shaken is shaken
I'm standing still
To see the dry land when the river
Rolls back the curtain of your power
To find my shelter in the Creator
My Rock, my shelter, my deliverer
Here standing still
For not in the earthquake and the fire
Not in the thunder and the storm, alone
I wait to see the prayer of my desire
In the silence beside his merciful throne
I'm standing still
I want
Mankind to be kinder to man
The world to echo ‘‘yes we can''
All children to live without fear
To know literacy and opportunity
Equality to be truly equal
Life to be valued higher than gold
The tally of one’s true legacy
To be measured by their mercy
Law to always speak the truth
A right to prayer to be absolute
The plague of racism to be vanquished
Earths bounty to feed the hungry
The games we play called war
To be declared forever lost
The blindness of hate
To be granted sight and tolerance
The cries of the weak and abused
To be answered by the strong
Our rain forests to be cherished
Whales to roam free within pristine seas
The words spoken ''never again''
To never again be needed to be said
Every man to be a brother of mine
Each child to be my child
Within my lifetime

My prayers
I will send
To my dear twin
this prayer is for you
Father
Please bless twin
Heal her body
Touch from inside- out
You know
what she needs
give her strength
to reach out to you
Father
I pray that
you send angels
to minister now
Father
I ask that
you forgive all
wrong that has been done
Oh God
wash us now
I give you praise
This I Pray- Amen

It was a situation that I could no longer sweep under the rug
I had to get a handle on my addiction to drugs
I knew that I could not cope with rehab nor a twelve-step plan
I placed the answer to my problem in God's omnipotent hands
I believed that the Lord gave a tremendous strength to me
and with the Holy Spirit I could claim the victory
clean and sober is now how I live my life
with daily prayer and meditation on the word of Jesus the Christ
It was not an easy process at times it was difficult and hard
but I trusted that all I would require would come from the Lord God
I hope that this poem will enable someone else to realize
that with God on your side you can win the greatest prize
