Premium MemberA Drawing ''Hobby''

             I like to draw,
        in black pencil and then with hues;
      my style is creative but is quite raw,
        I let muse bring the blues.
  This is but a hobby and I love it so much,
  creating an image that I made and can touch;
     not to be perfect insomuch,
  but just a piece of my heart that says aah !

KJV: Isaiah 2:4, " ... they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks:" ... by Isaiah son of Amoz re last days of Judah & Jerusalem

Insomuch, the northern rains be as brief,
and the winds tear the southern plains relief,
sobeit, that the realm is the victim,
and the seas rise as victor; its dictum,

praise be not the state claim of righteous earned,
challenge naught by singularity spurned,
howbeit, by a greater force yon ours,
deliver its wrath on the land it scars,

then sheath the swords of heartless warriors,
in their mildness find besprent carriers,
and restore the misty dew dawn's embrace,
while tethering the plains a moistures grace,

and hail the dutious guards their former posts,
and the forces that be, as the realms host's.

Between Saint and the Devil

Insomuch as we have to pay.
Time here is counted to the day.

Idle moments have us thinking.
Then exotic liquor drinking.

Instead of wasting precious time.
Take advantage of the sublime.

Inspiration finds its level.
That's between Saint and the Devil!

Insomuch

Insomuch as we are all awoken, insomuch as we cherish this effort of life, of this new day.

As we surrender all of this life all away in the sincere support, of all life, and as a consistent and continuing blessing, for this; and for our Creator.

For this, we are all blessed just as much as we can; and will apply ourselves towards this righteous ability fully.

Within this effort we get all caught up within the full acceptance of this moment, of all life, of the Generous Majesty of our Creator and of ourselves as we walk with Him and with all life, continuing on into infinity.

Out of the Deep

Out of the deep,
I heard a voice,
A strange sensation,
Over my soul;
I saw moon's eyes,
Piercing at me,
A whirlwind funnel,
Dropped on my knees.

Through the gleam of the star,
I dashed insomuch awe,
Out of the deep,
Still his voice,
Of something earthly,
And yet unknown;
I heard a strange music,
Of a heavenly host.

He smiles at me,
With kindred thoughts,
Above the pathway,
A rare ship rose.
Out of the deep,
I sighed and bowed,
Many sunsets were glowing,
At the time they gone.

Premium MemberSigns Of The Times

Signs of the apocalypse are a fundamental part of the Christian faith,
Insomuch that the Bible forewarns of its inevitability.
God's judgment of Man shall come to pass, and yet,
No man shall know when that reckoning will come, though
Some believe that the end times are upon us now.

Only God and His son Jesus know when, but there shall be signs;
False prophets will say, "I am the Christ," and deceive many souls.

There will be wars and rumors of wars; nations shall rise against nations;
Humanity shall suffer chaos, famine, pestilence, and earthquakes.
Everywhere, Christians shall be martyred for Jesus's namesake.

These signs are but the beginnings of Man's sorrows;
Iniquity shall abound, and the love for thy neighbor shall run cold.
Many shall hate their brothers and betray one another.
Evangelicals shall preach prophesy unto all nations;
Signifying the end times, as Christians prepare for the rapture.

Premium MemberPhilosophizing

People tend to analyze what they do;
Hoping to discover just who they are.
It's one way to see our species anew,
Little groups that we study from afar.
Often, we fault those of low intellect,
So easily led by egos and pride.
Old bigotries are immune to neglect;
Paradoxically, they haven't yet died.
High ideals are subjected to fraud,
Insomuch as our motives seem spiky.
Zealots and prophets oft interject God
into Mankind's vulnerable psyche.
Nothing is as critical as id is,
Giving Man a sense of all that is His.

My Lost Selfhood

!!~My Lost Selfhood~!!
***************************
"While,
I were busy in thinking
over the cosy chair.
I found
my inner soul missing
in intoxicating air.
Then,
the dense darkness
of fog arose.
In fear,
I kept my eyelids
fully close.
Somewhere,
the lamps of hope
were yet shine.
At dawn,
I found my lost soul
who scolded & said -
'Why had you taken
insomuch quantity
of illusory wine?'_____Durgesh Verma

Tilting Galaxies

read you in a dewy meadow of cataclysmic ambrosia

damp feathers of grass tickling the nape of my neck,

 my eyes could sense seclusion's blossomed temptation

  'pon surmised landscapes of poetic otherworldly sublimity,

insomuch as sonata's perceptive celestial bodies' played on

    imposing horizons and seascapes indistinguishable as

snowflakes midst commanding symphonic overtures,

   meanwhilst stardust & moons simultaneously tilt galaxies

Realizations and Translations

Somewhere between here,

blase and tomorrow's

derangement, lost the plot in

a moment of coherent clarity,

'twas quite a peculiar notion

unsettling predicament of

knowing one's own psyche,

silently questioned the

absolute mindfulness,

hardly sure whether to

heed or trust abstruse

insomuch as the validity

mid concise advice of

internal voiced concepts

shanghaiing neurons,

haranguing harbingers

hung on haphazardly

'til giving up on

any possibility of

sensibilities' solution,

acquired a migraine trying

to comprehend saneness,

there's a mental jolting,

dash of disappointment

mid virtual realizations

and literal translations

of who and what we are

[realistically] as opposed

to 'who we think we are'

fallen into rabbit hole madness,

"I don't think we're in Kansas anymore"...

Breathe My Name

Breathe my name with the breeze that rustles
Through the leaves and part your velvet-touched
Lips, that they may take my own rough ones
To a place as near bliss insomuch

That I can smell the melting morning dew
On your frosted hazel eyes through
Your lips. Let me uncloak you with
Trembling hands, and bid adieu

To whatever sadness resided in our hearts,
Through your bosom and its plaintive song,
So supple and melodious, falling
Only on ears to which it belongs.

I've lost myself in you beyond recovery;
Call on me and you will find me true,
If God wills, as the answer to
This most exquisite question - you.

Blight

Beneath blossoming, neat rows
Spring thoughtfully seeds
Once inchoate, now transformed
Were they visible, naked.

Coaxed or neglected
Into more important things --
Their outgrowth substantial
And beating, alive.

A pounding or downpour,
The influence prized
Insomuch as it aided
Propagation. Spread.

The seeds, so once tiny,
Their outgrowths majestic.
A flowering of ideas
Sprout from little, buried thoughts.

You get on your knees
To try getting at them.
You think that their sources
Matter most, hold the souls?

And as you dig deeper
You murder my flora
And leave me a bed
Of deadness and dirt.

You're killing my garden!
Yet a death temporary:
There are plenty of seed packs
For purchase and taking.

I witness their death
Until nothing's left dying.
You expire malnourished --
Then shall I begin.

Acception

Is it okay if I ask you one more time?

Is it just my senses,

Or are we falling?

Insanity is not just a state of mind,

It's a sense of being,

And my melted strings handle it well.

Love is a metaphor for acception;

Accept things for what they are,

And you may feel the mordant power

Of the Maiden in Her virgin spring,

For She loves madly!

Saddle the beast of Hope.

Does he throw you to the hot, red dirt?

Does he kill you?

He has killed me more than once.

Acrid sensuality has no place in this doughty soul!

I am not a fool to love insomuch as the daisy loves her needed sun,

But again,

I only fool myself,

For it is I and I alone

Who has learned to accept even the most unacceptable.
