I am lost in unapproachable light—a spectral broth
I am tasting the screaming silence—the archetypal observer
dissects my essence-fossil Passion
a seismic rupture between life/death/rebirth
gnaws at my marrow This dilemma-kudzu
coils tight, constricting tomorrow's breath

Death stalks me, a shadow with obsidian fangs
Sin's fruit—a parasitic putrefaction—

Hysterical Hospital Calamity

I thought I was truly losing my sanity,
With pain screeching, no thought for vanity,
After my horrible health issue late last year,
My physician suggested, my dear,
You need an intravenous course of cortisone.
But what happened in this hospital zone,
And in only one night, was a hysterical delight.

Sure as spring-ebullient cedes to summer’s escapades
In vagaries of time a budding flower parches and fades

It continues to befuddle my inquisitive mind
why many of you have attacked and maligned
vaccines, and have decided to become aligned
with other naysayers. Are you physically blind?

It's not amusing when false dogma spreads terror
Your claims are outrageous and uttered in error
Open your eyes to the truth, and be a torchbearer
instead of creating hysteria as a rankled

Are you blind that you cannot see? It is January 6, 2021.
The American flag plunges through a window of the capitol.

Their eyes are fine, technically speaking,
But all around chaos ensues and they don’t see it that way.

Capitol officers die during the insurrection;
Others take their own lives at a later date.
