I enjoy this solitude.
It’s just some kind of mood.
As I inhale this sweet, sweet cigarette,
I have not taken my last breath yet.
It is satisfying to the bones.
I picked up a few stones.
It is like a long lost gem.
And with this rose stem,
I plant it in the soot by the grave.

And the Whispered Hmm Bites

sifting shifting streams
falling star trying to get away from the others

Howami? hmm... good question,
but for some unknown reason
more tired than usual...,
without daily twenty four hours
proper rest, I feel haggard.

I strongly suspect (a hunch acquired
upon returning home
after visiting Notre Dame)
deep sleep interruptions...
attributed to uncontrollable need:
tap a kidney, micturate, spend a penny
(thee last mentioned British, informal)...
quite displeasing... yea urinate kidding.

Methinks perhaps to purchase adult diapers
(or fashion/repurpose water

How Many M's In a Hmm

What if words asked you to write about them
That is sick of being a last thought
How many m's in a hmm
A always seem so alone
Dark pulls back in a arc
i need some quiet
Silence steps forward from the back
And no longer wants neighbours

Hmm Diddle Diddle

Hmmm diddle, where’s I put my fiddle 
Fiddlely D, you’r somethin like me 
Somethin like me makes me holler 
Where r you?
You’r here then you’r there
My foots in the back door waitin 
Waitin for you
Turning round and round
dizzy enough to fall to the ground 
Laughing so hard
can barely catch your breath 
aaaah you say, fresh

I Cannot Weight To Hmm...
Be Pressed By A Dumbbell

Two fifteen pound
     steely danse sing
     wrought iron dumbbells
     ill-tempered, impatiently,
     and intensely a weight
their turn to hmm... press me,
     and forthwith dense trait
heavy handed prestidigitation

I was once asked,
To write a poem about my greatest obsession
I was told it could be about a person, animal, place or thing
I had to but think awhile.

I have never been asked such a question
