Let’s be clear! “AI” is plagiarism --
all grammar checkers, any writing aid,
major editing program, can be a form of
plagiarism...laziness at the least in my
humble opinion. Someone who writes
a biographical outline, a story outline
of any kind, and then hires a ghost writer,
or major team of professional editors, to
bring about the final, flawless product,
because the original was so sloppy or
hackneyed, is not the writer-originator
as I see it. Agreed! There are
no entirely original thoughts, for each of
us stands on the shoulders of the many
tall and talented thinkers, richly endowed
innovators who came before us – what we
owe them, and our chosen craft of relatively Free
Expression, is to try and maintain a posture
pure as possible when attempting to create.
Approach authorship as a Mystical exercise --
As a personal lover. A rapport with God.

The car's engine Fred often fires.
He. simply, first checks the car's tires
And off moves, tires spitting fires:
Tubular rollers end up criers;
Traffic wardens with their "Stop!" liars:
Fred at what he loves never tires!
The strength Free Fred uses he hires
From booze and kola sold by Mires...
After three months Fred's Benz for buyers!
Often worse than cars long in mires.

Today is a time that is like no other,
For the virtuous wife and bless’ed mother,
While her husband works the ground to yield,
She works beside him in the field.
She is his help, his right hand man,
The world on his shoulders,
she is his stand.
Baring his seed, expands his name,
defends his honor against all shame.
She mends what’s broken in the home,
Holds down the fort when he is gone.
Guards house and home both night and day,
never once relent to pray.
Accountant, cook, and housekeeper,
Duster, polisher, and home sweeper.
Scold the naughty, spank the mischievous,
Discern the truth teller from the devious.
Teaching her daughters to make them wives,
Her sons to live godly lives.
She hires the help, gives helping hand,
Handy lady to the handyman.
She’s the only one who goes, without a pay,
Though she’s rewarded every day.
She then adorns herself, for her handsome King,
To reward him warmth within her wings.
To whisper strength within his ear,
that if not for him, her heart would fear.
The wife and mother today, is as soft as strong,
She is everything right amidst all wrong.

A perimeter with firm block seats
For teenagers patrolling the streets;
More needed to strengthen their gossips;
Jokes about Dads who wash plates in ships!
Seat blocks for kids from the Broken Home.
They might on them lie: consoling foam,
Dream of saving marriage blessed in Rome:
Their lost umbrella, Uprooted Dome…
But on this not a concentration
Of honked horns in ears penetration
Some of them flutists’ composition,
One or two ghostly exposition
Stating a warming disposition.
A driver’s wish you watch rolling tyres
So you don’t meet stretcher Risk hires!

In solitude and serenity, hand in hand, they eye the field.
Sublime fruit, red, plump, desirable - like the steadfast
supermoon that’s bright overhead on this starry night.
Her lover plucks a strawberry, takes a bite, kisses her lips,
drops a knee, hires the moon to elucidate brilliant diamonds.

I can see that The Holy Bible
Has not Good Words it kept for Libel:
Whoever has been badly defamed
To not feel like Our Lord ‘The Profaned’
I sort of spot in Holy Bible
The Faces of Men that did it scribble;
One or Two free with their emotions,
The Rest Inclining to God’s Notions …
I reckon The Forgiveness Command
Wants to Man confine to Mercy Land
And that it is a Grim Injunction
That brooks no Audacious Infraction …
A Sad Mathematics in Bible:
Christ’s stated Seventy Times Seven,
To the Aggrieved quite describable
In terms of An Unfeeling Heaven …
The Hard-kicking portions of Bible
Are its Ever Scary Hell Fires
Which their Happy Writers did scribble;
Still guilt after lawyers one hires;
I’d want not The Forgiveness invoked
And dying to hear The Hell revoked.

I hate it
I have been watching a love story on TV, and it never fails
I blow my nose get tearful; I curse myself for being a soppy fool
movies like this were made to appeal to my tear ducts.
The film is about a rich man’s daughter who falls in love
with the chauffeur; to the rich man’s anger, the chauffeur is fired
The young couple elopes the grumpy father hires a detective
to find them and since they are so beautiful and frequent places
only the rich can afford, they are easily spotted.
The girl cries a lot and is given house arrest
the young man gets a job as a short-order cook at a truck stop
Two years later, they meet again in the street, their love has grown
stronger than before, and he turns out to be the lost son
of a royal family somewhere in Europe.
Upon hearing this, the father forgives his daughter, pays for the wedding.
A beautiful wedding even the pastor cries.

For the Beauty Pageant
Her selling front teeth,
Whose absence is a myth
For a smile with intent,
Yoga is the breath
While you bare their breadth
Their extraction kills the sweet
In indulgent kiss,
Keeping them white a feat
To one who wouldn’t a tooth miss.
Also useful to vampires
And their reprehensible agents
Assuredly stretching their empires
And vile occult regents'.
For whomever Satan hires
For the incisive very urgent,
As decisive as live wires,
Blood corpuscles the emergent.

Happy birthday, dear Josephine,
The traveler hires the driver;
Riding in a black limousine
Brings much thrill to the passenger.

I had heard that the professor from Xanadu was a bit eccentric.
Try eclectic, pink kangaroo corrected me. I screamed for my muse.
Trixie did not arrive right away. She has a distorted sense of humor.
She teases me with weird creatures which do not belong in my head.
They pop up in a most wondrous way. Ha! I am kidding of course.
This Neanderthal kangaroo was poking around in her own pouch.
Why me? I asked. Are all muses this inventive and peculiar?
Whomp! Something large and awkward jumped on my back.
My muse Trixie sometimes hires assistant muses to help torment me.
One muse is not enough to torture me I guess? This was a gigantic yeti.
I yelled “Trixie!. The yeti mimicked me. My anger so deep it was tangible.
Just what I needed, an abominable snowman with a mean streak.
Let me guess, a snickering voice said from the corner of the bookshelf.
“Your poems are questionable tonight, and you are blaming me.”
I saw the yeti wink at her, so I did not take the bait.
Her participation in my next poem is solidly questionable now.

Home from the sea
he is walking into the town,
new trousers and jacket
bought in America, shiny shoes.
He smiles to the girls who smile back
he has money
in his pocket home from the sea.
He has many friends
they come in the bar to say halo,
beer is flowing he pays
home from the sea flush of money.
Smells of expensive after-shave
bought in America.
He is walking into town,
his jacket is no longer new and shoes
not shiny
he is broke does not go to the bar.
It is a dull day.
He goes down to the office
that hires seamen, ask if there is a job.
Not today, come back tomorrow.
The way back home is long and
rain falls.
