Premium MemberCharlie Kirk, Asleep in Heaven

                   Sleep, dearest angel of peace.
                   The Lord wanted you home.

We do not why such love from us
                   was by a gun taken.

We will go on, till God says……
it is our time and turn.

Then we can see Charlie again and
                   With joy, dance,

Amongst the stars with great joy!
Be of good cheer, till we are in heaven!

By following God’s commands each day,
You shall never, by God be forsaken!

Premium MemberA Twin in Heaven

”A Twin in Heaven”
Exactly 12 days short of two weeks, and thoughts of losing you fails to escape me. Debating if perhaps- all the while, a test solely for me?! A test- proving if my strength can not emerge to weak?! A test- to leave behind the visual effects of your flesh that night in hopes it no longer torments me?! Or… A test- to see who’s reaching the Pearly Gates first… you or me?! Sigh…(Crying) Well twin—41 years, 2 months and 12 days… you finally surpassed me. My only request… is for you to save a spot in line for me.

Premium MemberMy Last Day

In the golden beacon of time.
In a shroud of darkness, a life will shine.

The rocky path was illuminated with a glow.
To show your beating heart in your soul.

A leaf gently swirls in the wind as it blows.
Surrounding you with kind whispers as it flows.

The sinking twilight red sun embraces your sorrow.
As you wonder in joy if your life ends tomorrow.

Singing crickets with their song enriches the starlit night.
As hope anticipates, tomorrow will be bright.

I woke up with a beautiful, loving face waiting for me.
As my brother Jesus hugged me warmly, setting me free.

Premium MemberWhen She Remembers

The sky was blue, a beautiful day.
The sun sparkled bright on the water beyond.
She sat in the grass, admiring the display.
She wondered if there were fish in the pond.
Grey marble lined up in long, even rows.
Names and dates, husband, father, brother, son,
Wife, mother, sister, daughter; all of those.
She was still breathing but their lives were done.
Memories flood her mind like never before.
For twenty years they shared a life and love.
She lay on the grass, read his name once more,
With thoughts of him looking down from above.
I guess you know how much I still love you.
One day I’ll be there, to stroll heaven, too.

Premium MemberLast Day

We have this time around.
Thus all will fade.
Millenniums underground.
As bones turn to clay.
It is deeply profound.
To kneel down and pray.
For we know not that hour.
Nor the last day.

Matthew 24:36.

Premium Memberwhen I get to heaven

they came to honor their fallen comrade with pride
every one of them had their own unique Harley to ride
He was our brother, our kin, our cousin, we loved him too
Sixteen of them spoke before the celebration was through

A celebration of life, then he was buried with his bike.
They all had something wonderful to say about their good friend Mike
They headed toward the clubhouse that was right down the road.
The only one who stayed behind was their newest member, Toad.

I did not know you well, he said to the coffin as it went into the ground.
But when I get to heaven, I hope to see you around.

Premium MemberImps and Demons

What vile thing is the one to administer

With a decrepit mind that's so sinister

A most diabolical plan constructed

Where the hearts and souls of men are abducted

Born from the depths where Imps and Demons dwell

And unleashing the fire from the pits of Hell

Thus scorching the world on every level

Where only the pure can resist the Devil

For oh so many it's already too late

All the liars and sinners have sealed their fate

A dark tyrant to rule for a thousand years

And flooding the Earth with an eon of tears

But those that's seen the light, salvation's at hand

To walk in the glory of the promised land

And those left behind without hearing or sight

Will suffer the silence of eternal night

Dedicated to my little brother, Pastor Matthew Dudley

Premium MemberLimbus Infantum

My brother went to limbo
Stillborn and unbaptized
Faultless but Original Sin
Status unknown
A soul in liminal space
Lost between heaven and hell
Damnation spared
Salvation denied
Consigned by papal decree
Resigned to the Mercy of God
Wrenched, a mother's heart

Premium MemberKeeper of Heavens Doves

Nancy Angel is the keeper of the doves in heaven above
She has never lost faith, hope, belief, or a single dove.
They flock to her, waiting for their assignment, you see
Loving the tenderhearted, adoring, beloved angel, Nancy.

When you get to earth, you must find the Jones family.
Make sure you get the young son’s attention. He is a dandy.
He is missing his brother, who made it up here today.
We need him to tell his parents, so they will continue to pray.

Premium MemberSwinging In Heaven

Where is she? I whispered.
She is magical, no telling where.
Her parents pointed to the ceiling.
I went to the roof.
Saw the stars.

She is higher than that, her brother told me.
She has gone to the heavens.
She is up there swinging now.
I was surprised he was okay with this.
But she had suffered for a long time.

She is swinging in the stars
Loving her new life
Suffering no more
The moon winked at me
You will be okay Grandma

that John is in heaven
wishful thinking

Premium MemberI Miss You

I fondly reminisce . . . and I miss you,
dear brother – carrot top – with soul so sweet.
It won’t be long when I’ll see you anew.
I’m longing to embrace you when we meet.

Dear brother – carrot-top – with soul so sweet;
dear father, and my friends beyond the veil;
I’m longing to embrace you when we meet.
We were so close. Be first there, brother Dale!

Dear father and my friends beyond the veil,
it won’t be long when I see you anew.
We were so close; be first there, brother Dale.
I fondly reminisce. . . and I miss you!

Brother you were the boy that grew into a great man.
Running cars were your joy.
Offering advice was your line.
The day you passed I was left alone.
Heaven now has one more angel.
Eternally you will be missed.
Recognized for our strong resemblance.
