If you hear no evil, see no evil and speak no evil, it is a given fact,
that you will never be able to recognize evil, and evil most certainly loves that.

HEAR NO EVIL, SEE NO EVIL, SPEAK NO EVIL

We decided it was only fair ,
As we had the space, and we did care
That my mother and father-in-law
Stay with us, and so they did!
What happened one day
I’m about to say!
My father in law could not see too well
My mum saw well but her hearing not swell.
She goes into the bathroom and
Steps into the shower,
5 minutes later my father in law
Goes into the bathroom and sits
On the throne, at 92 he could not see
And at 86 my mom an absolute dear,
Could not a thing hear.
Our domestic helper was in stitches
Doubled up laughing
And we much the same.
Patsy and Charlie unaware of
Each other, simply relaxing!
Mom finished her shower and
And to her horror, saw Charlie sitting
On the thrown, she screamed,
Whereupon Charlie stood up
Very confused ,Patsy are you
Here, Oh no he shouted!
Patsy opened the bathroom door
To see the three of us grinning,
Just a little mistake she said
But don’t dare say to anyone a word!
Hear no evil,
See no evil,
And we were to say no evil!

Hear No Evil, See No Evil

Can you hear the thunderous roar
Of angry engines that in the sky soar?
The sirens crying in heavy alarm,
Signalling of the impending harm?

Can you smell the scent of iron?
It is the odor of mass destruction.
Blood splatters and mangled bodies,
Of stolen lives and broken families.

Can you hear the frightened cries,
Of women and children; people alike?
Drown your ears with their screams,
Close your eyes, see their broken dreams.

Can you see what war has done,
Do you know what you've become?
Evil lords of war in the people's eyes,
For there in your path is where death lies.

As you drop your bomb and shoot your gun,
Can you see what you have done?
For you seem unseeing of the scar,
Caused by you in the second world war.

Hear No Evil

To hear no evil is a fantasy
and cynical to think that this can be,
unless one lives in crepuscular ways,
kept halcyon and free from worldly maze.
Our modern times bellow sonorous words
made opulent by followers, like herds...
sans jealousy...scream desultory news
exuberant to spread visceral views
matter not how dark their penumbra be.
To hear no evil is a fantasy.

Hear No Evil

Simple words heard in my halcyon days I bring
‘Forget and Forgive’ are the exuberant thoughts that spring
This eternal truth in my heart I sonorously sing
Cynical I would be if my mind had not had it cling
Jealousy it may or may not bring, but I wear this Truth as a pearl in my string.
From a desultory to a determined thought it took time to swing
This conviction I know is not a crepuscular hour thing
Any evil words heard I take as mere visceral sting
This way a penumbra of any despair out I wring
Leading an opulent life of this faith I walk like a KING.

You've driven me very close to the point of not caring,

with your cynical jealousy that's become overbearing.

I cannot tolerate hearing evil in another visceral word.

Your opulent ranting and raving is completely absurd!

The exuberant screaming of so many desultory things,

added to the penumbra visions that all of them brings,

is causing an abysmal chasm in this faltering marriage.

I've heard quite enough of this arguing and disparage.

I simply seek to hear sonorous sounds of our laughter

in a crepuscular place, a halcyon home forever after.

Mrs. McGuire concerned as she was
Always the proper lass
Went to see Dr. McGee
Hoping to stop passing gas
She explained, it always was silent
and odorless she was quite sure
In fact, she had passed gas
Several times since she came through his door
McGee scratched his head and then nodded
Then handed her, a bottles of pills
Take these and come back in a week
For now this will handle your ills
When McGuire returned to the Doctor's
And ask what was wrong with the pills
For although her gas was still silent
It stunk as high as the hills
McGee looked up at her sternly
But his voice was soft and endearing
Now that we've cleared up your sinus
We will go to work on your hearing

Hear No Evil

After school the children unwind
with their own rhythm and vibes,
drowning out the noise of the
adult world that suppresses
them,

So, on mute they travel all the
way home, oblivious to the
dangers that lurk within their
spaces,

The innocence can be seen on their faces,
with ever bop of their head, and tap of
their feet,

They feel immune to the creepy crawlers
lurking on the streets, waiting to snatch
them away for frolic and treats.

See No Evil, Hear No Evil ...

I am stone cold
And fittingly I require
Garments draped in gold
A coating, shielding attire
Of royal worth and empire
For minions to behold
When the right time comes
Necessity apts to do as deemed
I cover fragile eardrums
Take one last look, Medusa scheme
Salt pillar demising plights and screams
And suicide by Midas touch
This wheeling world keeps turning
As alien flora settles in
My life’s crop circle, burning
Engulfing flames of wealth and sin
Where burdens merely end to begin
Its tragic, milestone yearning
