Grab The Bull By The Horns Poems | Examples

Beware the VIGI

Rage, rage against the coming of the night
What mends my smashed and sad shattered heart?
Is the VIGI right, is there hope in sight ?
The food makes you sick ? Eat in the cafe

I cant help if I feel like an upstart
Turn a new leaf aloft time to restart.
Done for worms inside me what can I say?
I feel trapped like a rat need a fresh scheme

Where will you run to if you do get loose
Stay where you are . A bird in a nice cage ?
Lie to them -bad angle. Make a new plan

Grab the bull by the horns could cause a truce.
I know you feel so cramped thus you do rage
If you find peace somehow your are da ma

Snapping Them Beans

All summer we would sit and work,
from sunup ‘til about sundown.
We must have laughed a million laughs,
and must have snapped a million pounds.

We would whistle or sing along,
to near a million melodies.
I did not know it, but we were,
making a million memories.

My brothers and sisters always,
thought it was such an awful chore.
Just sitting in our rocking chairs,
watching as time flew past the door.

Through the good times and the bad times
I knew that one thing would not change.
You’d always find us on the porch,
Laughing hard and snapping them beans.

As the years began to pass us,
Gramma’s eyesight was nearly gone.
Her hands and fingers were too frail,
for her to try to carry on.

The morning that my Gramma died,
it was the day that my heart broke.
Since then I’ve tried to live by those
simple words that my Gramma spoke.

Don’t worry about tomorrow,
it won’t get here until it comes.
So live each day the best you can,
do not regret a single one.

Better grab the bull by the horns,
when you’re following your own dreams.
Spend some time with the ones you love,
on the front porch snapping them beans.

Proactive

By being proactive, you’ll find
That you leave many problems behind.
Grab the bull by the horns
And avoid all the thorns
That might prick you when you’re flying blind.

Just some Googling and reaching out
May eliminate stressing from doubt
Or you might find you’re stuck
And be plumb out of luck
Which, to most, is what life is about.

The Mayfly Man

Today is for raising verve and fervor
Today is not for the self but for the serving
Today is a rag squeezed completely dry
Today is for finding out the what and why
The soul's search continues on this day
The right door opens when you're on the right way
Grab the bull by the horns and smell the roses
Keep your head up when they look down their noses
Today is for the taking, nay, the seizing
Today is for building the fire amidst the freezing
An underappreciated and taken for granted,
Overlooked seed that's ready to get planted
So get up and ask yourself "What am I doing?"
When I look at my self, are there cheers or booing?
Today is something we'll eventually see once more
So today it's time to find truth and what's in store

Fickle fingers of fate

They say "good things come to those who wait"
but indecision leaves love dangling...
in the fickle fingers of fate.

Take control of your own destiny,
grab the bull by the horns...
and ride the back of what's meant to be.

Do Not Waste Your Life Away

Do not waste your life away
Do something, be somebody
Think large and take charge
Let no one lead you astray
Grab the bull by the horns
Manifest your destiny
Continue to forge ahead
Take advantage of opportunity

Dancing With the Devil

Dancing with the Devil

Insanity surrounds you; I have taken your voice, dancing with the devil will be your first choice.
Chasing the high, makes for a perfect storm, you’ll completely embrace me; grab the bull by the horns.
You can hear their cries, but, they are just out of reach, locked in my hell, it’s destruction I teach.
They’ll try and love you, but, you will love me. I will flow through your body and you will feel free.
You might feel some pain, but, it never lasts long, because I’ll fill your soul with my favorite song.
Down the rabbit hole, take hold of my hand, you really don’t need them it’s all part of the plan.
The world feels dark now and you’re out in the cold, But don’t worry my friend; I won’t let you grow old.

They Tell Me:

they tell me that jesus christ
is the messiah the devil is
a liah, playin wit fire youl get
burned, but ive learned to
take life slowly and meditate
on the holy-bible cause youre
liable for youre actions lata
for subtractions you need
additions to youre life cause
strife, is plentiful you gotta
grab the bull, by the horns
and dont let go until you
know its from him:
