Stage 2 Slam-Demic

Stage 1

Preparation
Fastidious planning

Stage 2

Phased in Execution
      Roll the Dice
( get the ball rolling )

Premium Member Scammer In Training

Pick them at random, the best way to start.
The very young or very old are easiest to part,
With the info you need to get the ball rolling.
You scare them at first and then start cajoling.

By gaining their trust and becoming their friend,
You'll get access to funds and accounts without end.
Tell them their computer's been hacked by a scammer,
Or they owe for back taxes, will be locked in the slammer;

But you're there to help and make everything right.
For a small monthly fee it will be alright.
Once you get those numbers then you're home free,
Then it's pay day already for you and for me.

Twiddle My Thumbs and Tap My Toes

Attention's gone
Doesn't seem like there's anything going on.

Sitting around
Trying to find something to fill this time I've found.

Frustrations show
I could've been more productive today, I know.

But instead
I think I'll spend the rest of the day in bed.

Who needs motivation when there's nothing else to do?

Where's the inspiration when there's nothing driving you?

I guess the lack of time my friend, is really not the issue.
It's figuring how to get the ball rolling to get to the things that will ensue.

In the midst of boredom; I'm in its throes
I'll twiddle my fingers and tap my toes

Premium Member Why Is Jack So Happy

I have many questions
I want to ask you Jack
I'll place them in a poem
In hopes you'll answer back

Why are you so happy?
We're all dieing to know
It seem so unnatural
Where did your sadness go?

Is it something you smoke
from your own special pipe?
Or are you just really
a happy go lucky type?

These are all my questions
I hope you don't hold back
Give me all your answers
While I go prepare a snack

It was suggested that jack and I do a poem together, I thought I would
get the ball rolling. Thanks for the idea Shaz, curious where it will lead.

Premium Member Play Misty For Me

Hello there, beautiful woman behind the piano.
Would you please play a melody I’m sure you know?
To this crowd here tonight, I’m in the mood to sing.
The lyrics I convey should have a familiar ring.
With this bourbon and soda, I cannot drown my sorrow.
I want to describe how I feel. Let’s give it a go.

I have to tell you that my lady and I are through.
Her departure from the scene has made me so blue.
Alas, my partner has proven to be untrue.
You are so marvelously talented at what you do.
Let your dexterous fingers glide across each key.
We will get the ball rolling with the familiar tune “Misty”.

Lion With a Dark Mane

Lion with a dark mane, bark flames
Before I was a monarch
I was a caterpillar without any wings
Lion with a dark mane, bark flames
Pain in the picture outside it rains
You don’t get the picture it’s not
filling up the frame

Lion with a dark mane, bark flames
Ready to eat, raw as it came
Not a fisaud gnawed out the cage
Weight on my shoulders
I guess its all on my legs

Hills looking steep, look back
I can face any challenge given to me
Given a cue giving it one hundred
and three
To get the ball rolling
Off the Tee I give it a swing
It was at two at the end I came
around made it a three
Started nonchalant nature made
him a freak
Off the chart in what position can
he be
Skills so high now stars gazing at me
Wave as I leave
Faced and believed if I swim that its
safe in the sea

Lion with a dark mane, bark flames
Before I was a monarch
I was a caterpillar without any wings
Lion with a dark mane, bark flames
Pain in the picture outside it rains
You don’t get the picture it’s not
filling up the frame
