Notes About The Poem

I've had a bad two weeks here.

First my little Chihuahua died from a heart attack. Then while still grieving her loss I was usng my computer when it suddenly gave this loud BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP! The a big message flashed on my screen saying my computer was blocked "BY WINDOWS TO PROTECT MR FROM A DANGEROUS APP". (Riiight) Not one hour passed before my phone rang with someone claiming to be a Windows Rep. who was going to help me fix everything. I said no thanks because I woulod just call Telus and get them to help me. I hung up and called them. They gave me the number to call to get my computer back on line. (Sigh) Thanks everyone for your understanding and support during this emotionally tryng time for me.

Scammer In Training

Pick them at random, the best way to start.
The very young or very old are easiest to part,
With the info you need to get the ball rolling.
You scare them at first and then start cajoling.

By gaining their trust and becoming their friend,
You'll get access to funds and accounts without end.
Tell them their computer's been hacked by a scammer,
Or they owe for back taxes, will be locked in the slammer;

But you're there to help and make everything right.
For a small monthly fee it will be alright.
Once you get those numbers then you're home free,
Then it's pay day already for you and for me.

They are trying everything. Very smart of you to not fall for the scam, Judy. Once or twice it happened to me, I simply shut off my computer to reboot. That's all you need to do. You are blessed my friend. Sorry for your loss.
