 I know a poet, with flair and he shows it!

  Neither shy is he, neither, faux-debonair.

  He is kind with a sharp,

The Wolf of Gershon Howls

Though his tone is quite gregarious
And his intent softly nefarious
He is ever so meek
His tongue in his cheek
His double entendre hilarious 

Gershon’s Pen

Gifted golden pen drenched in
Emerald emancipating elegance
Regal red reverie so daring
Sending me singing thinking or dreaming
Humble humorous and socially conscious 
Onyx thoughts that hold on to us
Needling patches together so clever
Souls fed by his poetic endeavor 

Praying for peace with pen
Engaging his fellow men
Noble and kind gentleman

A Gala For Gershon

Gershon's fab writing reaches like
a preacher,
he's a retired teacher,
and poet extraordinaire,
with phenomenal flair.
His humor is witty,
he hails from Chicago city.

He deserves more views,
he pens poignantly too.
A poetry prince,
and I've been hooked ever since.
He ranges from limericks so cute,
to his love of his homeland Israel
so resolute.

He sends encouraging words,
and it would be absurd,
to not give him

Verse On, Gershon

To arms, to wit, with repartee!
The barbs and jabs in fun and play
We never fear et tu, Brute,
for Gershon's verse makes bright the day!

Gershon Wolf is a super kind of fellow
In his poems, sometimes you hear him bellow
He is a conservative Jew,

No one would dare call Gershon Wolf yellow!

What he believes he would write high in the sky
Never one to fumble

Statues rise and fall
  Empires stutter and stall 
Genius streaks 'cross the sky
  Leaves in its wake more 'Whys?' 

Mountains slowly erode
  Earth cracks, they implode 
The seas advance then recede
  A hiss of steam from icebergs freed

Don't cook it when you can fry it!
With bagel holes

What else can you do but try it?

I've always been good with a sling
And can hit a bird on the wing
But Dave hit a giant
Who was not complaint
And for that, they made him a king?
