Laughter of children and the dull clatter of small feet on aged wood. The congestion of men's voices with talk of crops, rain, and "remembering when". The faintly drowned-out sound of a stray hand unafraid to tickle long unused ivory. There, the aroma of well-planned dishes lay in wait to ambush and overwhelm the senses of those who will partake. The pride of a husband as his wife is washed in praise for her contribution. A communion of kind souls, the fellowship of close neighbors and friends. A vision carried on from a not-so-distant past. Where one could marvel at the magic of a fond smile and find comfort in a firm handshake that wordlessly informs, "you are a welcome sight".
Crisis spills totally spoils
Comely bombarded ill toils
Consecrated gatherings
Covered social lathering

The sun is illustrated in pastel hues
washed in a watery light
Mild is the air in my mouth
Standing at the roadside
of a flock of honking family vehicles
I wonder if they are going to church
or leaving church
It's Sunday morning
in the burb's and naturally
God has His hands full
I go visit a little pond
where frogs sing their
creaking love-woos
to lure green lovers
up from the muddy bottom
For a meditative moment
we join in prayer
November holidays in our country
Serve as fellowships for the ministry
Great gatherings toward revival bliss
Never can joyous worshipful hearts miss.
Midst “All Saints’ Day”* is women’s virtue time
Where Ladies’ conference resounds faith chime
Learning from Scriptures midst trust-propped ventures
Thanking God Who blesses kindness’ gestures.
On the scheduled “All Souls’ Day”** engagement
The men enjoy their soulwinning moment
Sharing the Gospel of Christ, marked by love
Granting peace and grace from Father above.
"Bonifacio Day"*** celebrates valor
Midst unity sans selfishness-pallor
Thus, church sportsfest presents good teamwork's zest
Blest well with camaraderie that's best.
Then as November birthday greetings flow
Thanksgiving along cheers of praises glow
Around prayer partnerships tied by care
While brethren gather for blessings to share.

God’s Synchronicity is “Perfect”
Sometimes, we just-
“Get through it!”
My pace is “Seamless”
For me…
Joyous holidays, wondrous indeed
Family reunions of loving bliss
Meeting together gladly as agreed
Every member promised never to miss~~~
Now, each heart reaches for dear Brod and Sis.
Though our scheduled fellowship is virtual
Warmth of Christian spirit does brightly glow
Caring hugs felt with God’s grace so actual
While blessings to share continually flow~~~
Making us thankful* midst pandemic blow.

WHEN SOULS GATHER FOR THE SOUL PURPOSE OF UNION, A BEAUTIFUL THING
HAPPENS. LIFE AS WE KNOW IT BEGINS TO CHANGE FORM AND OUR MINDS
FINALLY GIVE US PERMISSION TO GROW WINGS AND FLY. (breathe)
LIKE A BIRD WHO IS STARTING TO UNDERSTAND THE PURPOSE OF SOARING
AND WHY GOD CREATED THE HEAVENS, WE TOO LEAVE OUR SAFE EARTHLY
BODIES AND MAKE AN ATTEMPT TO CLIMB INTO HIGHER GROUND. (breathe)
WHEN SOULS GATHER TOGETHER TO UNIFY THE LIGHT THAT SHINES WITHIN,
A WONDERFUL THING HAPPENS. WE BECOME LIKE A BUTTERFLY WINGING
TOWARDS THE STAIRCASE OF PLANETARY ASSENSION. WE LEARN TO
LIVE WITH VIBRANCY AND LOVE. (breathe)
WHAT IS THIS NEW ENERGY THAT WE HAVE FOUND ? WE ASK OURSELVES.
THE ANSWER IS SIMPLE. IT IS THE ZEST OF A SOUL THAT HAS BECOME
ENAMOURED WITH THE IDEA OF SOUL UNION . MYSTICISM BECOMES
SIIMPLIFIED AND AS WE DISCOVER THE MYSTERY OF LIFE ITSELF.

Mum doesn't do
Family gatherings anymore,
Weddings,christenings and the like,
She's rather go for a walk
Or a ride on her bike.
They always seem
To bring out her worst,
Make her curse
About to burst.
She'd give her own funeral
A miss if she could,
A close call,
But then given a chance
Wouldn't we all.
gatherings in nuances
aching pain in numbnes
once open in window
as dream in one piece
in louder styles accustom
alerts colour sounding high note
in between winds hope still crisp
inmortal wave as making one piece
