Gallbladder

Gallbladder

I’ve put in a request, an explanation, to
my brain as to why my
gallbladder (my gallbladder is well ventilated) is allowed to
leave and
return from my body whenever it
wants to. I won’t go with it even
when it begs me. My gallbladder has
been promoted to
rank and status.
He’s now my
spleen. My spleen has gone to
Spain.

Premium MemberMy Love

Your skin glows like apple blossoms crispy as the sunflower in the purest hope of spring.
My yearning heart rises to your cymbals voice and leaps like a lion at the whisper of your name.
The evening ascends in on a great vulture wing.
I am calmed by your heavy ducking that I carry into the twilight of money beams and hold next to my pancreas.
I am filled with hope that I may dry your tears of coke-a-cola.
As my heart falls from your brain, I am reminded of your frown.
In the hushed, I listen for the last splash of the spring.
My heated gallbladder breathes inside my feet. I wait in the crystal moonlight for your secret toes so that we may seek as one, gallbladder to gallbladder, in search of the glorious rust sensual tools of love.

Poetry soup has a section on here that you can use called, "The love poem generator". I put in some words and boy did I laugh. LOL...

Hoss Died Half a Century Ago

He's a deceased actor who still has plenty of fans, including me.
Dan Blocker died fifty years ago today at the age of forty-three.
He and his family moved to Switzerland because he was against the Vietnam War.
When he had gallbladder surgery, he didn't know that his death was what would be in store.
He commuted back and forth to the USA to star in Bonanza until his untimely death.
On May 13, 1972, a very talented actor passed away when he took his final breath.
He made Bonanza great but half a century ago, he was a man who the world lost.
Fifty years ago today, people had to say farewell to the man who starred as Hoss.
He was too young to die and when everybody lost Dan, it was a damn shame.
Bonanza ended just one season later because without Dan, it wasn't the same.
Dan's death caused his family, fans and the Bonanza cast members plenty of devastation.
It was half a century ago today when millions said goodbye and mourned in many nations.

[Dedicated to Dan Blocker (1928-1972) who died 50 years ago today on May 13, 1972]

My Love, Eve

Your skin glows like the Apple, blossoms eagerly as the rose in the purest hope of spring.
My yearning heart rises to your guitar voice and leaps like a dog at the whisper of your name, Eve.
The evening ascends in on a great parrot wing.
I am calmed by your sock that I carry into the twilight of leafbeams and hold next to my knee.
I am filled with hope that I may dry your tears of Valvoline.
As my nostril falls from my monocle, it reminds me of your toenail.
In the hushed, I listen for the last pfrrrrt of the spring.
My heated cerebellum leaps to my stocking. I wait in the crystal moonlight for your secret mole so that we may saunter as one, cerebellum to cerebellum, in search of the glorious gallbladder-green and spiritual jello of love.

Being Human

Osteoporosis, spinal stenosis
halitosis, that's the grossest
Hemorrhoids, hypo hyper thyroids
gallbladder removal will leave a void
Arthritis, pyelonephritis, gingivitis
we will survive in spite of these
Toe fungus will not be the death of us
its' cure you will ask what was all the fuss
Crooked toes, snotty nose, itchy down below
Pancreatitis, gastroenteritis, myocarditis
cannot frighten us, though impotence might
and possibly to a womans' delight
on not
Torn rotator cuff, oral cancer from rubbing snuff
COPD will make you huff and puff
Diminished brain, malfunctioning drains
generalized aches and pains
of these we are not deprived
BUT, it's still awesome to be alive

Premium MemberSneezing

This is some ramblings of a poet which probably make no sense
After gallbladder surgery don't sneeze
It doesn't matter if they only poke four holes in your side
     And one incision in the belly button
The pain is so bad that you will try to stop the sneeze, have a minor accident
   Cry and pass out all in the same breathe
Then discovering that you are being effected by six sneezes simultaneously
   The prayers begin and the hopes that other Christian friends
are remembering you at the same time

Thank God that he hears and answers prayers for I made it through to the other side
     of the surgery and the sneezes and the one week after surgery..

The pain has been really bad as has been the nausea and shivering, yes, shivering
occurs from having gallbladder surgery..There is a medicine that they give to help
counteract the effect..It helps but still there is some shivering..

Thanks to each one who has prayed, sent a note, read my poems even when they were not very good..God bless each one..

"someone Been Digging Me a Grave"

"Someone Been Digging ME A Grave"

my land lord, her play games
she play, nick knack ,on brain
with a nick knack pad a whack
give a tenet a deadly water drinking break
she play at putting me in my fresh dugged out grave

hook::so don't drink the water
hook::and don't breath the air
hook::because there's no one who will give a care
hook::with a gallbladder in the brink
hook::don't you give a drink  !!!

so this old fear, and this brain
can't believe how mush this is in sane
with a shower head, that can leave you as good as dead
this is something so bad it leave white power on your head

hook::so don't drink the water
hook::and don't breath the air
hook::because there's no one who will give a care
hook::with a gallbladder in the brink
hook::don't you give a drink  !!!

no old dog, will sniff at me
he start pawing at his nose so very painfully
with a howl, and a pain fill yep
Now You See This The End of ME!

hook::so don't drink the water
hook::and don't breath the air
hook::because there's no one who will give a care
hook::with a gallbladder in the brink
hook::don't you give a drink  !!!

I Fear

I went to the doctors the other day
I was having a lot of pain
I shrilly thought I was going to die
Apparently, all I had were stones inside
The doctor said that’s an easy fix
45minutes, you know that is quick
You’ll be under and we’ll take a part of you out
Still, fear fills my hear full of doubt
Doctors seem to cocky for me,
I know their smart, but some have swollen heads that fall to their knees
They all seem to think surgery is no big thing
I bet he be singing a different tune if he were the one in my shoes

Author's Note: I just found out I have to have my gallbladder removed, the doctor says
it's a simple surgery I go home the same day, but the idea of being cut open and having a
part of me taken out makes me a little scared
