In the Dawn’s Gentle Light

In the dawn's gentle light, I see my mistake,
On our special day, I caused your heartache.
Forgive my foolishness, my words out of line,
I never meant to tarnish our love's shine.

With every breath, I regret the pain I caused,
In moments of anger, reason was paused.
But in the morning's glow, I see clear,
I'm sorry, my love, for my actions sincere.

Let me make amends, let me make it right,
I'll hold you close through the darkest night.
For in your embrace, I find my peace,
My love for you will never cease.

LOVE FORGIVE

Love forgive and let go of all the negative feelings, they weight on life and give us no rest.
Love forgive, and feel good, do not carry heavy thoughts in your heart for they are no good.
Love forgive, let it go, do not let it keep you in a bad mood.
Love forgive and open up your heart, let it heal and make you feel well.
Love forgive and do it for you, let peace and joy grow and make the day feel swell.
Love forgive, let love grow, and let the bad go and never grow.
Love forgive for love is the key to all your joy and sweet memories.
Love you forever my love, may your day be as lovely as you are my sweet.
Lifting prayer to God, today and always.

Premium Member Forgiving

Repent, and you shall be forgiven
And hopefully, reinstated
If you are conscience-driven
It’s much appreciated
No need to come up with objections
Just humbly take the charge
Accept all stupid allegations
Before they grow too large
The astute will suspect you’re kidding
Those will be a minority
Most of the judges will believe you
So blessed by their authority
You go whatever way you see
It might be not the same
You walked before, but you are free
To start another game
It is a gaming world, all play
Whatever game they like
In games of war for peace they pray
In games of work they strike
Of course the wise like to pretend
That only justice meets their needs
But at the high stakes it depends
Forgive the hypocrites.

To forgive is human too

Of what use again is my tear to you?
I plead, I cry, I try to soothe with care,
Yet you ignore me, and call me a fraud.
I know I betrayed your wholehearted love—
But if to err is human, then to forgive is human too.

Forgive Me

It’s so strong
The urges
The addiction
Weak in what merges
Me
To only have to ask to forgive me
Perfection is far from me
No it’s Not easy to admit
But the truth isn’t hard to see
But you’re still here
With me
Your patience is authentic
Seeing the pain in your eyes
When I ask and do
Embarrassed is my truth
Yet I still go and do
Forgive me
The blame is only in me

Premium Member While Summer Shall Shine On Your Soul

Come, now while summer shall shine on your soul,
Leave off the darkness, the doubt and the fear;
Come, now the Earth’s with divinity full,
Leave off the wretched, and cling to the dear;
Come, now forgive, and thus make yourself whole.

Premium Member Always Forgive Your Enemies

To arms! Many arms were waving, wildly flailing in the air
Incensed as if there'd been bowling pins missed for a spare
Screaming and ranting about things that didn't seem fair
Oh puhlease! As if it matters or as if anyone gives a care

If the truth were to be told, then everyone should confess
and state unequivocally that they couldn't give a fig less
Nothing written or done should be the cause of distress
when so many things in La La Land are already such a mess

"Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much,"
words of Oscar Wilde, is he suggesting using a gentle touch?
No, just an offering to those who require the use of a crutch
the feathered friends who flock together, flying in their clutch

The high tides of bitterness continue to crash upon the shore
With a forgiving nature and long ago, I stopped keeping score
That should've stifled the animosity, but there's always more
Their wrongs aren't worth a fight to make them right...candor

Forgive Me

I can be a wretched man
I can be a cheater
I can be a lazy man
I can want to die
I can fail to smile
I can refuse humility

I want to be better
I want to be loyal
I want to deserve it
I want to live
I want to not fear smiling
I want to be enough for myself

Can you give me one more chance
I know I’ve blown it before
Can you help me become something better
I know I can be so much better
I hope God doesn’t give up on me

I grew up wanting love and loved everything
How did I become this broken?
How did I choose the path I’m on?
Why can’t I return back to the better path?
I thank God every day for a second chance

Forgive me, I want a second chance.
I want to show the world a better me.
I want to make the world a place worth living.

We Have The Ability To Forgive

We have the ability to forgive—
Like wind that moves through trembling leaves,
It asks no permission,
It seeks no reply,
It simply flows, unseen.

Forgiveness is a hush in the heart,
A candle in the night—
Flickering, but alive.
It softens sharp voices,
And turns hard faces into water.

It is the hand that lifts the stone,
Then lets it go.
It is the quiet sun that breaks the storm,
It is the flower that still grows
In broken ground.

We have the ability to forgive—
A gift as deep as love itself.

No I won't forgive and no I won't forget

You say you're sorry
But your not
You want me to forgive
But I won't

You say something racist
Then give this fake apology
What do you want
For me to forgive and forget
But what you said
Is permanently etched in my head
So no I won't forgive and forget

I won't give you the satisfaction
I won't let you win
I won't submit
To this narrative
Where you somehow make yourself the victim
So you can take your 'apology' and shove it
Because to me it's meaningless

So you can choke on your fake guilt
Instead of being a racist maybe you should go into acting
Because this performance
you nailed it
But don't think I'll fall for it

You knew what it meant
You used it to torment
Me
To bully
Me
But you don't know the history
You are so ignorant
This is white privilege

Because while your trying to unlearn your racism
I and many other had to heal from the worlds hatred

So excuse me If I don't forgive and forget
So I won't pretend for your benefit

Forgive me

Forgive me
or penalise if you wish to.
Remain not, a stoic
and lemme take in every breath of guilt.
The guilt, so monstrous,
always conniving to destroy my peace
If only, that's the act of vengeance
you seek.

Premium Member To forgive, and to live'

To live and forgive' to turn from hate..That insitant suggestion.' Raking your memory, insinuating that
All is fate..And every avenue, or road or track you might
Well travel.? Is full of twisted events in wait.' To steep
You still deeper in sorrow.' A heart of stone a dismissive
Mind seems the way to choose.? To throw away any hope
Of joy.' That way what can you loose? And in the deepest
Sense. Much of the above is true.' In this human world
We know..? Thats why we need to exit from such stony
Streets of woe.' Listen wisdom is calling.' As day and night
Fleet on.' Get you to the cross-roads; thats where she is
Standing strong.' Right where the skull is leering.' And darkness seems to win.' Fall now at the feet of Jesus.'
And be done with that burden of sin.'

Can you find in your heart to forgive me

It's hard to admit that I was in the wrong
Everything you said was right all along
You told me everything I didn't know
I should have believed you when you told me so
You saw exactly what I couldn't see
You saw the lies, the betrayal, the manipulation, the deceit
I clearly abandoned a earth angel for the enemy

" Can you ever find it in your heart to forgive me "

I did you so bad I did you so wrong
Thinking I'd make you a side piece and string you along
Trying to have the best of both worlds having my cake and eating it too
I'll have the reckless party girl and the homebody, wifey material girl which is you
So much time has passed I just disappeared like I never met you
But still look at your photos and can't stop thinking about you or missing you
There's really no great excuse for treating you this way
I just hope I can make up for it some day
If I reached out to you will you care to hear me

" Can you ever find it in your heart to forgive me"

I'll Never Forgive You

Caused me to black out from the trauma
My hands shook, letter full of lies
Boxes of my life in yard
No phone, trapped in darkness
Drank away his life
You don't like me
I'm to blame
